MJ Rice still hasn't played a minute yet. Away from the team for personal reasons.

Bobby was pretty bad in game 3. 1-7 from the floor in a loss to SC Upstate.

Cuffe looks like he may play his way out of Cuse's rotation. Played 8 minutes game three, 0 points, missed all his shots.

Zuby has played 2 more games since last update (holiday tournament thing). 4/3 in 6 minutes and 9/6 in 11 minutes. He is currently their 7th guy in minutes played.

Udeh also has had 2 more games. 0 points 5 rebounds in 16 minutes against Texas Rio Grande Valley. 5/8 in 17 minutes against the worst team in D1 Mississippi Valley State. TCU is on the ISU scheduling plan it appears.

The best story in college basketball right now is Tyon Grant-Foster. He is averaging 23 points a game his first 3 games for Grand Canyon. The Antelopes are 3-0.

@mayjay Yeah there was a Kentucky fan on twitter (x?) that made a video of "missed calls" on Hunter. Got a good chuckle out of that. Definitely an all fan bases kind of thing with officiating. Some (Iowa State) are worse than others about it.

Generally don't care too much about the media but you would think Kentucky won that game. Tons of moral victory stuff. Sad how far they have fallen as a program. :violin:

I see no reason why he won't score double digits against most good teams we play. He had no need to score at all against sub 300 KP teams.

RE defense: Bill signed up for being a bad defensive team when he took Hunter. It is what it is and the entire 3 man combo of HD/KJ/PB will not be good defensively when you have two of them in the game. On the bright side we can and are doing super cool stuff offensively despite not having strong shooters.

Also bad is relative, Bill has lofty standards.

Been a bit since he was here but Enaruna balled out tonight. 22 points, 6 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks.

@kuballin10 I haven't seen many positive signs there. He regularly gets beat badly on defense and looked liked he didn't belong on offense against Manhattan. Hopefully he can turn things around but early returns are rough.

Don't think we saw Kev/Juan/HD after the 13 minute mark. LOVE that. Team also won that stretch by 5 and probably closer to 10 before the major walk-on minutes.

With the post thing it's tough cause KJ has been mostly playing in the post. We are essentially playing two bigs but Hunter is the 4 offensively. I think this is the way it has to be.

Decent athlete still but he just isn't a good basketball player.

Cuffe against Canisius: 3 pts 1-3 shooting, 3 fouls 2 turnovers. I was watching this one for a bit and somehow when I had it on he managed to get completely lost on defense twice.

Easy to say this but at the end of the day OSU won all those games (the one against KSU too). They are not a bad team and their RB is ridiculously good now.

Cuffe has had the best game so far out of our ongoing transfers. No one looked particularly good. We knew the bench situation was dire last year but this speaks volumes.

I swear I saw Juan take the last long shot to end the half. Yet, ESPN shows he took no shots in 25 minutes of play.

Think they ruled he didn't get it off in time.
