Clearly our offensive line isn't ready to play. Nicholls state is killing both O and D lines.
Just an embarrassment tbh.

Screw firing Beaty right now, can Jeff Long fire Bowen immediately?
I would take this too.

@Crimsonorblue22 He was saying if you think this is a LOCK win for KU then you don't know football. That's all.

Texas is back....to sucking lmao. Down 10 early to Maryland with an interim coach, just cracks me up. Tech is getting spanked by Ole Miss and had their QB leave due to an injury. OU is taking it to Lane Kiffin and FAU, as a TCU is easily handling a school for the blind.
Mixed feelings on that game because Maryland does not deserve nice things.
Kliff might be on the hot seat. 30-33 record currently and has had plenty of time.
Oklahoma looking really saucy. FAU isn't a terrible team (they would spank KU).
@Crimsonorblue22 I am not buying tickets again until Beaty is out. Also I think it would be really surprising for Beaty to suddenly watch his win total over three seasons in just one.
Texas Hawk 10 said:
@BShark No, you're just being a downer. Even Beaty's biggest critic/hater, Tom Keegan, is predicting a 3 win season for KU this season.
Keegan is a buffoon. If Beaty wins three games this year, I will stop posting about football for an entire year.
I'll have to go find the article. I don't see a single conference game being winnable with Beaty's coaching ability.
@Crimsonorblue22 Realist Ralph imo.

Isn’t Michael Cummings the qb who transferred for his sr year and led his new team to a bowl game? Smh the whole team needs an overhaul no qb will succeed without help.
I don't think so. That was Cozart maybe? Cummings had a bunch of injury issues.
Trump is just Putin's shill.

Don't get me started on McCain.
@BeddieKU23 @Hawk8086 I'm going to have to catch some of his games this year if he commits or it appears KU is really going after him. I have some buddies in the KC metro who are very surprised by this offer. One is a grape (despite what I said about not hanging out with riff raff lol) and he joked that Self might be going senile.
As for Chandler I could see him ending up at Memphis but apparently Memphis isn't really pushing for him. I don't think he is so bad that he isn't a 4 year KU guy. KU has trotted worse out there during Self's tenure. In the starting line-up even. I like him long term especially defensively.
@BeddieKU23 Williamson, Hurt, JRE, Chandler, McBride.
Not exactly going out on a limb here. I do wonder if Braun will be a factor at all now. I didn't expect him to get a KU offer.

Definitely time to move on. A real nut punch considering he grew up a KU fan.
If it isn't Duke, he is going straight league.
I'm fine with it, he's been a tease for a while.
If Dotson is here for year 2 I think its important we find someone that isn't comparably the same as him.
There are no Grimes in the 19 class to get so I'm holding out that we get a shooter with some size.
Cole would be the "dream" duo but I think he'll go straight to the draft.
Things will change as they always do.
I'm still digging my class prediction from earlier.
Tell Derryck Thornton about the Duke brotherhood. Or Wendell Carter.

Na - - more likey then not - -straight to the NBA if this new thing with thing takes effect that would be almost a given
DUKE BROTHERHOOD THO.

Yep. I think Memphis was pushing for a reclass.
This story is filled with nuggets. Embiid wanted to redshirt LMAO.

A year later, I committed to Kansas.
I didn’t even know what March Madness was. I didn’t know who the good teams were. The only reason I chose Kansas was because Luc told me, “Kansas is the best. You should go to Kansas.”
So I went to Kansas.
@jayballer73 I wouldn't worry about it.
@mayjay yeah, the business chose to make this political. So I think Double DD was being a bit disingenuous.
So whose sock is StayClassy.
Lol. Strong agree!
But like, OU, TTU, KSU, Minnesota, Wake Forest, Creighton etc...

Honestly was hoping we could snake him as a walk on haha
Too many P5 offers for that, assuming they are real offers.
KU has offered Christian Braun from Overland Park. Lol.
@jayballer73 Yikes. Baker is not a great fit for Shaka imo. Unless he is going to change his coaching "system".
@jayballer73 KU.
Best case scenarios definitely involve RJ Hampton.
I'm liberal and this is stupid.

You don't remember him in Seattle because he was a terrible fit there. He's gonna light it up again in GB.

Saints for his first 4 years than Seahawks for the next 3. That's been his career to this point. You are correct.
Oh and a follow-up instead of editing again...
This is probably going to be a big class. Dedric and Vick are leaving. Grimes and Doke are extremely likely to leave. Silvio is definitely a candidate to leave for lots of reasons. Then there is an open spot. So that's potentially 6 scholarships to give out.
@jayballer73 Yeah. They are probably gonna play together in Lawrence, lol.
Also Chandler is a combo forward like KJ. He can definitely play some three. I don't think the staff view him at the same position as Hurt and JRE. I could be wrong though.
I think Chandler is a good long term player and his family knows he isn't going to be OAD. He could come to KU and develop over 3-4 years. With his length he could really be disruptive on defense and he would improve his offense over time I'm sure.
"[Chandler Lawson] was talking about how he loves Kansas, also, but he’s a highly recruited player, so his options are very, very out there," McBride continued to 247Sports. "He has a lot of teams that he can play for, but he talked to me and we compared and we talked about Kansas a lot. We talked about how the Lawson brothers love Kansas and how they’re developing, not only strength-wise, but spiritually and on the court, most definitely. So we talked about it, and we’re going to continue to see, and I’ll see where he goes and hopefully we’ll be able to make the decision at the same time or close to each other.”
Auburn and TCU both want McBride too. Arkansas offered recently, despite not having a scholarship available (lol). As of anything reported at this time he might not even let Arkansas back in at this point. I think he ends up top 100 in the final rankings, for those that think about such things. I was hoping KU would push for Sam Williamson when he was unranked.
Per a 247 article Chandler Lawson has been talking to McBride about recruiting in general and how great KU is. :eyes:
McBride visiting on late night.

She. Adorable little girl! And yes, Jayhawk family. I don't associate with riff raff. lol
I actually hurt myself giving her a piggy back ride Sunday. My knees ain't what they used to be.
I'm too old for Late Night.
Thought about taking a kid whose family I am friends with. You guys think 6 is old enough?
Memphis or Duke I bet.
Oh boy. ESPN dropped JRE to #38 in their rankings. What a joke.
@jayballer73 Heh, we will see my friend. I hope KU does win, of course. Just not confident about it!
