Several things are sickening about this, obviously that it happened and secondly some of the comments I've read on Facebook and twitter. Some folks are commenting CNN praising the attacks due it killing many conservatives, then there's the white supremacist crap (yes a white guy killing hundreds of whites is considered racist apparently). I've honestly lost all hope for this country. Prayers for the victims and their families.
Wow. This is what is wrong with people right here. Only concern should be for the victims of this senseless tragedy.
Also don't even get me started on the fact that these people are now expected to pay for their outrageous medical bills. Even with good insurance it can be tough. Not only that but many will probably be out of a job due to the time missed from work. Not to mention living in tremendous pain depending on the severity. Their lives may never be the same all because some guy went crazy.
Wall isn't up yet either, lol.

Jerry has had predictions for KU, UF and MD for Dotson during this recruitment. Including multiple times for KU. I think this is the third or fourth in fact lol.

@jayballer54 Grimes loves Kansas. The original crystal ball run on him happened because he straight up told a Kentucky reporter that Kansas was his favourite. Now a kid can always make a business decision and go elsewhere, but I do love KU's chances with Grimes.
@RockkChalkk I'd be actual money that it will best West Virginia for Harris. No sense in him visiting KU at this point anyway, KU is now stacked inside for next season.

While a lot of people like to put him in the "combo guard" role he's 6'2 and has limited options for position versatility. He might not be a natural PG but he's unlikely going to be a full-time SG in College I would think. Might throw a wrench into Dotson's plans...

Talked to my buddy this morning and he said that the Dotson family seems to be torn between schools. They love Kansas, but are worried about PT due to a possible commitment from Grimes. Florida seems to be running third as of right now, but is apparently still in it due to their longstanding relationship. A commitment from Nembhard would eliminate Florida, however that seems to be weeks away with his OV scheduled for mid-October. Maryland gave them a lot to think about on this visit though and I think Maryland’s pitch to Dotson resonated with him and the family.
Investigation started Friday. Since nothing has come of it yet I am hopeful.

The University of Kansas is conducting an internal review of its storied program after a nationwide federal bribery investigation uncovered rampant fraud and corruption in college basketball.
Associated athletic director Jim Marchiony tells The Associated Press that the Adidas-sponsored school has not been contacted by any law enforcement agencies, but it chose to review its program after the Department of Justice filed charges Tuesday against 10 people, including four college basketball coaches.
One of the central figures in the probe is James Gatto, the director of global sports marketing for Adidas, who is accused of funneling $100,000 to a prospect to attend Louisville.
Marchiony said nobody implicated in the investigation was part of negotiating a 12-year extension with Adidas announced just last week to sponsor Kansas athletics. The new contract, spanning 14 years and providing $191 million, is the fourth-largest shoe and apparel deal in the NCAA.

Zarielle Green is a top 15 recruit. Offers from the likes of Tennessee and Texas A&M. Could be huge for the program.

Also what HEM said. A lot of KU guys have signed with Adidas, but some Nike and UA too. I'm not overly worried about that aspect.
They haven't implicated anyone that low level yet.

And me too! Results on the court have not been great. Hopefully an influx of talent will help out.

Got three recruits in total. Third is Aniya Thomas. They are all from the same HS and from the same area as Garrett.
Zarielle Green (link in 2nd post) is actually a pretty big time recruit.

From what I can tell reading articles and posts on the Maryland board.
Dotson will be KU or MD. Ayala (another guard) would like to commit to Maryland, but the Maryland staff is holding out hope for Dotson. Should be decided soon one way or the other.

@JayHawkFanToo Oh I thought you were making a negative insinuation. But yeah, still super early with RJ. Plenty of kids like KU early on and end up elsewhere. I've read/heard it went EXTREMELY well with RJ and he had a great time.

Kid loves KU. Pretty far out as he is a 2020 kid (but old enough to reclass to 2019). Would be nice to close though.
Hopefully they can get it rebuilt in another 3-4 years.

@Crimsonorblue22 Read so more thoughts from others. Like everyone else online I couldn't watch the scrimmage. Seems everyone agrees on Lightfoot. Others thought Garrett showed well. Doke hit/miss.

Speaking of which Garrett to me is the kind of kid that does better in real games than a scrimmage like this.
