Optimistic he will play
Can't let Wilson shoot
3 guys in the corner and nobody wanted move. That's rediculous
Awful possession
Our hands it out of bounds
Booom
Make free throws come on
Awful
Brockington looks like Selden
Yeah it certainly appears that way. If that's true I would be optimistic
Could be avoided but as usual it is what it is
Self saying practices have been good since Saturday
10 straight
Vernon on Twitter saying KJ might be upset with his minutes so far. He's starting tonight
2nd yr in a row Baylor guards just make everything whether they are off balance or not with a man in his face
Good thing we are home. As always can't stay healthy
My father just tested positive again. 2nd time getting it. Both times he was recently vaccinated or boosted. This time he is asymptomatic. Went to get tested today as I had contact but testing was closed due to it being negative degree weather here. Can't get a test until tomorrow hopefully. If any of us have it we are also asymptomatic at this point. What a mess
With NIL here these cases just feel so behind the times.
Just to clear this up the update does not state that an alternative resolution was accepted, only that KU requested it with support of the Big-12
KU is seeking an alternative resolution with big-12 commish support from Bob Bowlsby for its case.
Norm is out for tomorrow has covid
That's where I'm at with Wilson as well. If he is going to have some big games like that, hopefully they are apart of victories. Getting a season high in a loss just doesn't do much
Agree. What makes the loss difficult in the big picture is Tech played without its 2 best players and won anyway. And they didn't just look like the better team because they weren't but they looked way more athletic at every position and seemed to have that extra effort for boards and loose balls. Tech has a good defense, ranked 5th nationally so it's another concern to see the offense dissappear playing good defenses recently. My point being I believe KU's offense is good enough to make good defenses look bad and we are not doing such lately. I haven't liked much about our offense from execution to scheme.
Great point, he's really not built that way at all.
2 home games this week against Iowa St & West Virginia. KU has had 3 mostly dud games since Jan 1. The offense is struggling, the defense has more holes then swiss cheese. I know, I know we're 12-2 and still a Top 10ish team so why be concerned right?
This is a pivotal week for this team, heck with anything else. Next week they have back to back road games again which is ridiculous scheduling if you ask me. After that 5 straight games against ranked teams. This team needs to get back to playing KU ball because the next month is brutal. This is the week to turn it around.

Definitely missed him in this stretch of Remy being injured.
Really hoping this doesn't derail him. Hoping against hope he can end up the starter next year.
Even if Self loved him more then his own son at this point Bobby will have a limited role whenever he comes back unless injury changes that. Self has clearly shown he doesn't trust anyone that hasn't played here 5 years already or isn't 25
On replay the Harris no call is worse then the Braun dunk. There was contact on the Braun dunk but the Harris one just baffles me because he is unable to control his body to stay in bounds with the ball because of contact by the TT player, Braun at least finished the play with a spectacular finish (where he could have been easily T'd up after for pushing the player and taunting him). That's been a bit of an issue with him at times.
However rewatching the last few minutes I actually think the missed layup by Ochai had as much of an impact as those two missed calls. He missed an absolute gimmie.
Ochai has 8 fouls in 2 conference games which is unacceptable. In his previous 7 games he had only committed 9 fouls. He's gotta clean that up and stay on the floor.
Agree they are nothing alike and that's how I remember them.
Definitely missed him in this stretch of Remy being injured.
Not calling a foul on the And-1 dunk by Braun and the missed foul on Harris stealing the ball that went out of bounds, that was 3 points potentially taken away in the last few minutes. My gripe with these two plays is that similar plays by Tech were rewarded with FT's. The Harris one just baffles me and I've watched the replay of that play 3 times now. This wasn't a fairly called game at the end. However if KU had played better perhaps it could have overcome poor officiating at key moments
I expected the Tech game to be a toss up/more then 50% chance of losing tbh. 2 road games in a week is hard especially when your not playing well. We have not passed the eye test in a while. Remy isn't close to 100%, Bobby is out. Agbaji has come back to earth showing some of the criticism that's followed him for 4 years now. Braun's also showing that playing better athletes still bothers him. Some guys are playing too many minutes and Self doesn't trust anyone off the bench it seems unless its the backup 5. The 5 position is the Achilles heal to this team.
This is a good team but I still don't really think they are a team playing together. The defense as we saw Saturday was poor. Tech does nothing fancy but they have athletes and it showed. At the end of the day KU still looks like a team lacking athletes.
One last thing the officiating was the worst I've seen this yr.
Also on replay what a dreadful first half of play, really hard to watch with Wilson the only production on offense. You won't win games when that's the case. The game was lost in the first half.
The missed foul on Harris stealing the ball with 1 minute left is a joke. Only a home crowd ref let's that go. Doesn't get any easier then that on a call.
This team isn't getting better and the break in December may have disrupted everything that was built. They need to play at home and get back to themselves
Glad I missed the game. Execution and effort at the end killed them. Missed layup by och, not getting rebounds which was all effort, loose balls, etc. Didn't look like a team out there on replay just some individuals
Some interesting stats
KU had 49 dunks last year, they already have 51 in 13 games.
McCormack only makes 55% of his close 2's. Remy & Harris are also under 60% but they are also 6'0 tall.
Ochai should stop shooting long 2's, only hitting 30% clip. Remy shooting 57% on them so its a good shot for him.
Jalen Wilson shooting 73% on close 2's so maybe he should only shoot layups cause he can't make anything else.

I run 4-5 times a week, no set goals but I just got back into it last March after buying a treadmill. For the year I dropped 26 pounds running, lifting weights, minor changes to eating habits. No diet or hardcore change in eating but have found what works for me and will continue on this path. We had actually put in a gym downstairs before the pandemic hit so its been a great thing to have during this s***show.
It's been even better for my mental health though having that outlet 5 days a week. I stay with it and I enjoy it so much.
Yeah Remy has been too unselfish especially when he dribbles. He's rarely drawn contact which he can do easily with how he plays. He wants to make the spectacular pass which I get but its not helping himself or the team. I'm happy with his effort to please his Coach but its time to tighten up and do what he's good at. Especially with Ochai coming back to earth we need to see him step up
He's not playing to his potential and there is several reasons for it. I think he has deferred to Och and CB but if this team is going far this season he's going to have to assume more of the Alpha role on this team. I think the team would easily get behind him too if he does
Nothing nice to say here. Not a pattern of behavior or anything over his career
Espn has a story about Andrew Wiggins. Some really good detail about him and his time at KU too.
Close!
Definitely benefitted playing an OSU team that couldn't practice much and had a 2 week covid issue. Had we faced them at a different time who knows but it sure felt good to leave there with a W considering how it went
It has been concerning that this team is struggling to score in the last two games. Perhaps it's a product of the 11 day break and getting back into flow and getting momentum going forward. Just feels like we have only certain pieces playing to their potential and when you don't have 5 guys on the same page it looks bad at times. It looks like JCL is starting to carve a real role with real value with his shot making.
Definitely a murders row of defenses. If they are truly a top 5 offense they will find ways to make good defenses look average
I will say this if Self watches film and thinks Jalen Wilson should be playing 20 minutes a game he's straight up crazy. Great he rebounded but he's got zero game on offense and the defense is even worse. I have no idea what he is doing tbh
I'll take the road W. Not one I'll try to remember tho that was ugly
Definitely amateur hour ref crew
Can anyone make a damn ft
This is one ugly game
My god
