If there is punishment for the Preston situation I see no reason to support NCAA sports anymore

I’m skimming it quick, and they have jack shit. They’ve never said shoe cos were boosters in any other case ever. Bryce ends up #18. Gethro #146, Jossell #248. Tyon #2 Juco.
Some notable players KU recruited hard that moved up in the ranks.
Caleb Love ends at #6 going to UNC. KK Robinson moved up to #36, ended up at Arkansas.
Big-12 ended up with a dozen 4 star prospects, 4 of them 5 stars including the #1 player.
Bryce finishes as the 18th ranked prospect. Awesome job Bryce. We signed a stud.

Agree on Meetings. I hate them. Since Covid the amount of meetings I've had has decreased. We either do Zoom or Microsoft Teams now from our offices which is better then being stuck in a room with no where to go. I'm also guilty of not attending meetings I'm invited to just for the heck of it. If you need something from me and it takes an hour meeting to decide what a waste.

An abandoned Marble Quarry in Southern Vermont that is about 1 to 1 1/2 miles into a hike. You approach this cave and get inside and its amazing. Pictures I took didn't do it justice. That was one of the best hikes we've ever been on. A few of our other recent ones ended up finding some really cool waterfalls.
I forgot how good Season 4 was. That season is when you first start noticing how much more money HBO threw at the show. Tyrion was great in that season as well. The story he tells Jamie about Orson smashing the beetles was epic! We just got to the beginning of Season 5. It's amazing how much you forget even though before each new season we would watch the previous season to "catch up".

Thanks, we bought the house a few years ago so we've been hard at work making it the way we want it. All the floors in the house have been renovated to get rid of carpet. Paint on every wall is different. I've got a slew of other projects to do after painting get completed. I figured this was the perfect time to just get it all done before hopefully, a somewhat normal life can get back on track.
Sounds like you'll be busy with projects as well!

Yikes. Attrition at Wake Forest already commencing. A few weeks back they were over scholarships then Chaundee Brown left. Now with Manning gone they have 9 bodies right now after their best player Oliver Sarr- 7 footer who averaged 13 & 9 last season has decided to transfer. According to him Manning convinced him to come back for his Sr year without testing the NBA draft and now his coach is fired and he's missed the deadline for entering the Draft..
In Sarr's words
I wanted to test the [NBA draft] waters," Sarr told ESPN on Thursday night. "I requested the UAC [Undergraduate Advisory Committee]. I tried to test the waters, then I had a conversation with Coach and he convinced me to stay and get my degree. He had plans for me, I was going to do great things in the ACC, with the team and individually, of course. It was late April, Coach was going to stay. Then, 24-48 hours before the [draft] deadline, Coach got fired. I didn't get the chance to put my name in and change my mind."
"It's actually a tough decision," Sarr said. "I want to give Wake Forest a chance and listen to what he has to say. I'm entering the transfer portal because I want to listen to all the options. I want to be able to pick my own coach, not have one chosen for me."
At first we redid our kitchen floors. Then I started painting all the trim in the house. That task is still on-going. Painted the walls going downstairs. Will paint the stairs soon. The weather has been a complete mess in the northeast so we started yard work but then had to stop. Started getting the grill and all spring summer stuff out but then the weather would take a complete crap on us. Been hard at work getting our 3 year old potty trained. He was real hit and miss when our schedules were normal but I had a week off recently and that really kicked in better habits. I think he's on his way now. My other half started her garden inside since it was still too cold to plant outside. She's hoping to transfer most of it coming up since it looks like winter will finally leave us. The last 3 weeks or so we've gone hiking every weekend. We've had to find trails that were toddler friendly but getting out in nature has been refreshing and he's enjoyed it. Last week we found an abandoned marble quarry hidden in a cave. That was fantastic. We hope to Kayak soon as well weather permitting. We started re-watching Game of Thrones from the beginning in our down time at night. Currently at the end of season 4 which was a fantastic season by the way. The end of that season has been exciting to re-watch again.
Mindhunter was fantastic. Upset the 3rd season looks toast after they released the cast from their contracts..
Part of that was he wasn't practicing to be the backup PG. Threw him into it out of necessity when injuries occured
His 2020 class of HS recruits is arguably his best. 1 five star and 2 4 star recruits. All to a place in Texas that's in the middle of no where. I think he's recruiting at a high level
Steve Forbes of East Tennessee St has landed the Wake Forest job. That's a good hire for them. Forbes was really good at ETSU.
Sucks for ETSU since Forbes signed 3 grad transfers and has 7 seniors on a team to make another tourney run they missed out on this past season.
Damn, Texas Tech landed VCU leading scorer Marcus Santos-Silva. That's a game changer for them..
The NCAA has passed this. However I fully expect them to F this up in execution.

Update: Several people who had contact with the confirmed case have been quarantined and are being tested. One tested negative and has returned to work. Many are frustrated about transparency. The CDC deemed it low risk so immediate closure of the plant was not recommended. That is until all that had contact are tested and the results are in. Lots of frustrated people here. Anxiety is high.
Confirmed case at my work. Still open since the person was asymptomatic when tested and confirmed to have it. Let's just say panic has set in. We already have dozens of safety protocols in place so unless the entire plant is going on quarantine I don't know what else they can do to protect us at this point. People are not happy and many working here are of moderate to high risk. Will be interesting to see what happens
