I think this defense gets in people's heads. They do play well together defensively which is what you want to see. Last years team didnt play for each other. Having 3 really solid guard defenders and a eraser at the rim in Doke has really made life difficult for teams. Hard to remember a Self team defending this way in at least 6-7 yrs

Lack of elite athleticism is massive here. If he was even Marc G athletically he would be a oad lock.

Perfect College Player. I think our Strength coach will help him with a few things once he gets here. Self raves about his BBall IQ which is the perfect guy to match with Garrett.

The current landscape helps. Even if there was a 1-2 dominant teams out there I'd still be optimistic. I just really like this group. Very excited to see how it unfolds

The offense isnt pretty but this team is excellent, elite defensively and has two guys nobody can stop when they play to their high level

The meltdown in the last 3 minutes of regulation would make you cringe then. KU has had some epic meltdowns in the past but nothing approaching what that was yesterday.

No, this was on UNC. Just mistake after mistake. Hero drives for TOs with 3 guys open, failing to inbound the ball, poor passing, poor rebounding, and abysmal defense.

Agree with it all but they couldn't get a simple foul call correct when a player gets clobbered trying to catch the ball. Its inexcusable

How they miss the foul call on Moore that gave them possession is one of those calls only a Duke gets

Which call? They called an offensive foul on likekelia making a basket and nobody knows what they called besides getting it wrong

Yeah your right. I think what most are saying is Duke routinely plays in its home state to start the tournament. I think it's worth investigating
