Did they forget the whistle
Agbaji damn
Marcus, stud
Welcome to the big 12 where they couldn't even get real players
When in Morgantown.....you buy furniture
Notice the wrap on dokes wrists not good
Dotson jets
Sure
Lol 3 seconds with the ball dribbling
@BShark said in In the Middle of Nowhere Game Thread:
I'll allow that shot from Oscar all game.
Yup invitation accepted
Braun against Culver is a bad matchup
Nice doke
Have to make that
Meh. Typical
Less go
This year above others I would love to get a win here

We good is required in the op.
We not good if its not

@BeddieKU23 the free throws bother me much more than the block.
you just made it worse. Immediately remembers Jeff Graves not being able to hit the broadside of a rim
Doke holds the record for most dunks in a season in the last 10 years with 122. Crazy is that is 18 more then the next guy Tacko Fall who's like 80 feet tall.
Both Obi & Doke seem likely to get close or above that number by seasons end

It should be a defensive battle! Wouldn't surprise me to see a game in the 50s.
Will Self try and play 2 bigs to match WVU? Have to win the rebounding war, we already know we are not winning the whistle tonight
Best I can find this year is total dunks
Obi Toppin, 1st in the country with 80 dunks, Doke is 2nd with 74. The next guy has 20 less
Haven't been able to find it yet..
We have a game today anyone wanna talk about how we beat them Mountaineers a 2nd time?? It's been a while since we got a fair shake in that gym.
Was waiting for @wrwlumpy's game thread! My day is thrown off not seeing it
I'm now reliving that nightmare block. How dare you!!!
Bingo, that sunrise team running offense that prepares you for college so his learning curve is going to be shorter plus the fact he is a fantastic athlete and plays within a team well. I see him fitting like a glove, of course contingent on him committing.
I'm also coming around to Clemence as a take. He has improved a lot from mixtape season. That Hillcrest beat down showed he was going to be good in time in College
Plays on a loaded team at Sunrise. Brown doesn't force shots up and its not a broken jumper he can make them just not an Isiah Moss looking shot. His athletic ability though is elite and he will impact the game on both ends
@BShark said in 2021 Recruiting:
Got a buddy around the Sunrise program and he says KB's jump shot might be even worse than Marc G.
Just looking at it on video makes me cringe. He can play though and is an excellent athlete and has a good feel for the game
Are there others in the rafters that don't shall we say have no brainer credentials?

@BeddieKU23 Wonder what the attendance will be at the next Ok St - Tx game?
My guess is 75. That includes family, friends, staff and cheerleaders.
Concession workers as well
The first thing that pops into my head is recruiting in regards to not playing them
The West Virginia game is sold out. They better bring their big boy pants.
Texas Tech drubbed a spiraling TCU by 46 , yikes Dixon
Baylor won by 7, 52-45. Texas wouldn't have won with 10 guys on the floor

The last 48 hours is why everyone hates dook. Totally bailed out by a garbage call at the end against Carolina then again Hurt goes MMA on a guy and they call it a cylinder foul. F em
The Brotherhood wins again. Just disgusting officiating in both games
Texas is really bad. The 4 fans in attendance are wondering when football starts
Mark vital is Marcus Smart reincarnated. Already flopped 4 minutes into the game

Well, one game we don't have to worry about at all is ISU at home. Halliburton out for the year with a wrist fracture.
Draft Status protect mode
That's flippin awesome

@BeddieKU23 Thanks for sharing this info after each game. You are awesome.
No problem, I figured it would be useful for us to see over the course of the season. I may do graphs for each player after the regular season to see what jumps out.
FYI.
Devon Dotson leads the Conference in scoring at 18 ppg. He's also 2nd in steals per game & 6th in assists per game.
Udoka Azubuike leads the Conference in Rebounding at 9.7 pg. He also leads the Conference in FG% & is 2nd in Blocks Per Game at 2.6. Stud.
Marcus Garrett is 5th in Assists per game but #1 in the league for being a complete bad-ass defender and team player. His assist to turnover ratio is tops in the Conference.
These hawks are good individually and as a team
Legendary status
2nd youngest to 700. Bobby Knight got there at age 56, Self at 57. Must be doing something right
He got his 700th. What a stud

@BeddieKU23 I think itβs time to start talking about Baylor as a dominant team. The last time they lost was a long time ago. They beat us by double digits at home.
If they hold serve against KU and win the Big-12 then I'll agree. They have been very impressive this season so far and Jared Butler put on a clinic in Allen Fieldhouse. I have watched their last 10-12 games and a few things make me hesitant about calling them dominant if we are comparing them to past great teams in College BBall but they deserve their ranking and accolades. Going to be a heck of a showdown in Waco

Dukes refs finally got their check
No, this was on UNC. Just mistake after mistake. Hero drives for TOs with 3 guys open, failing to inbound the ball, poor passing, poor rebounding, and abysmal defense.
Agree with it all but they couldn't get a simple foul call correct when a player gets clobbered trying to catch the ball. Its inexcusable
Boy you have to be talking about the NO CALL late when the Duke kid just practically molested the UNC player when they threw the ball to him on the in-bounds - -GREAT FOOTBALL HIT - -but even that would of been an illegal block in the back, bout knocked the kids teeth out hit him so hard - -yet NO CALL
Inexcusable non-call. Baffling really

Zach Clemence wants to play in the big 12. Hope it's for the good guys.
Got a chance to look at him, his game against Hillcrest recently. Can really shoot it and stretch the floor for a 6'9 guy. A beanpole big needs a lot of work in the S&C room. Wouldn't be a bad take but I wonder on fit.
Boy the wife must have been slugging back by halftime
