Certainly this sucks. Teams like Arkansas give Self difficulties in the tournament with their length and athletic abilities so it's hard not to think it will be even more difficult for Norm to win this. I know it's the players that ultimately have to make the plays but we all know the tremendous impact our coach has on a game and without him we are vulnerable.
Hoping our guys are just built different and overcome, adapt and play their hearts out. I can't imagine Jalen is going to let us down, he's been the ultimate competitor and I'm putting my faith in him rallying these guys to a big performance.

Imo he's much better then some bench options we have currently. He's not what we need in terms of ready made scorers. I do think he has some potential to be really good in the right system. Certainly Georgia should be in that

More then 30 Coaches were asked whos' the bee's knee's for coaching (best big game coach). Self received 15 votes as the top dog, 10 1/2 more votes the 2nd place Matt Painter. Basically, everything we know and love about Self is also loved by his peers.

Some important Milestones for Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson.
Gradey became #1 in 3 pointers made for a KU freshman passing Jeff Boschee who had 79, Gradey has 82 now. Gradey also hit 500 points as a freshman which now has him in 4th place all-time for a KU freshman.
Jalen Wilson surpassed 700 points for the season becoming only the 11th Jawhawk to do so. Jalen has now scored 20+ in 6 straight games as he continues to climb the all-time scoring chart. He needs 23 points on Saturday to move into 26th place.
