He is 10-39 from the field in the past 6 games. No more than 3 FGs in any game. No double figures. Not contributing anywhere else either. The antithesis of a stat sheet stuffer - very few rebounds, assists or steals. I'm at a loss - always thought he has a high BBall IQ and is a good passer, but the evidence the past month plus has been otherwise....

Our 2 best players are 5-17 from the field...Good that Coleby stepped up as we expected....
Svi needs to drive and try to get a lay-up - needs to see the ball go in the hoop...
I'd like to see us play a box and 2 - and the two on Allen the entire time. Not convinced their other guys can beat us 4 on 3....
Coleby is our leading scorer at halftime. Go figure.... Our bench has outscored their's 17-0. Go figure...
Well, will give Walton credit on one thing - he knows his Jayhawk basketball history better than any announcer I've ever heard....
Coleby is tied for our scoring lead with JJ! And, bench has 15 points already - have gone for 2 or 3 game stretches without that many combined....
Bench is perfect so far - 5-5 from the field and 2-2 at the line... Who says we're not deep...

Other than Svi's O-for everything (2 FTs I guess), the offense is clicking. Defense is the problem. Texas has only scored more than 70 points once in the last 8 games - and that was 71 points in getting whipped by OSU. This team struggles mightily to score against everyone else....

They are, which is what makes it all the more frustrating. Literally long stretches where there is at best indifference on the defensive end. Maybe they are "pacing" themselves because of a lack of depth, but it just allows inferior teams to stick around - which has the perverse effect of requiring more energy... The only real complaint I have with HCBS this year is not stealing a few minutes from Coleby and/or Mitch each game and a bit of 3 out and 2 in just to allow a couple of minutes of rest for the primary 6 and lessen foul problems...

There is just something so odd about this picture. At home - shooting 50% from 3 - against TCU! - and just up a deuce....
@HawkChamp The problem is also on the glass - gave up 11 offensive rebounds in the first half and got out rebounded by 9. That's tough to overcome game after game. Bragg and Jackson are doing a decent job, but not getting much help. Svi is 6-8, but provides no help with rebounding....
Svi - didn't follow-up his shot nor did he get back - just kind of stood there. It came back his way and he could/should have gotten it to continue the possession...
A rare earned, hard foul - like to see it once it a while...
