@brooksmd Based on your theory we won the 2012 NC because Elijah did not travel befor he made the 3 in the corner.
Go to the gif on the Stars ku ap. The guy is going down and LLs left foot is not touching wood. Hell of a pick tho.

@jaybate-1.0 Can we exile Vitale to only cover hapless games? Then I might never have to suffer him again
I would predict that MU still could not make a final 4.
@Crimsonorblue22 I wrote the lyrics to the KU fightsong so maybe I can get a free pass!
Only arena where I did not hear the chant when we won. But we also bolted at the horn because my client had to be at work at 6:30 in KC.
The calls were blankly horrible and replayed on video.
I was by older folk and families so all was calm. But no one too friendly either.
Great clutch shot but he played matador D all night long. He was a sieve.

Possible signage: Dorothy's slippers were Crimson not purple.
Now that is a fitting punishment.
@Hawk8086 OSU would be amped for sure if our outright title bid was on the line. The minutes are piling up which is directly affecting the D. Got to get the guard mins down to 30-33. Just gonna have to play Vick and Colby more to steal some mins. Bragg back would be big if coach sees fit.
@tis4tim A bit hard to get to for sure, but I'm committed now. Plus tickets should be all of $5 bucks.
@ralster Perhaps a bucketeers field trip to WV. Safety in numbers!
If we win tomorrow, I think we have one more loss at Baylor. But will have to tighten things up and bill needs to spread minutes better.
I brought my son to OSU, tcu, TX with no issues. Not tomorrow tho. Taking a client who is a stater but hes cool 😎
Tomorrow my quest to visit every Big 12 arena to see the Hawks takes me to purple pussicat land. Any advice from the bucketeers? Should I wear blue or go neutral (my Germanic stubbornness and competive nature has me leaning blue)? What sign should I make? Any scenic spots to visit, such as a feed lot? Feel free to have fun with this advice column.
I probably should not say this, but in my seven previous conference visits, I have yet to see the Hawks lose on the road. They cannot fail me now at KSU of all places.
Post script: after KSU all I have left is Tech and OU. WV does not really count and their fans are even weirder than the KState fans so I'm skipping Morgantown.
@justanotherfan Frank is roughly the same size as Paul. That was the point. A smallish guard who succeeded in the nba.
@drgnslayr I'm actually a shareholder. Been to lambeau many times and it is a must see for every sports fan. Make sure toleave plenty of time to visit the packer hall of fame. It is first class.
@drgnslayr Wiggs was more athletic but I think Josh uses his athleticism more effectively, thus he is over all more effective.
@KUSTEVE That Paul Pierce was awfully good. I would rank him over JJ. But not many more in the convo.
Ku 86. ISU 67
Baylor had a lot of nba sized guys and that length seemed to bother Frank's shot (I don't worry about strength with the bull dog). Chris Paul is listed as 1 inch taller than Frank. For what that is worth. He has done ok.
@drgnslayr My dad and I own matching Green Bay packer sweatshirts and during the Pack's late great run this year we wore them every game (dad not washing his for some extra mojo). They just kept on winning, clearly due to the sweatshirt magic. Alas, it worked like a charm until the NFC championship game. Should have switched back to the Rodgers jersey. I take full blame for us not playing tomorrow.
His release seems a bit quicker, his vertical a notch higher, his poise a little better....very under control and some nice assists. He was not scoring over much height but he looked very smooth. Thanks for posting.
Look at the pictures they are choosing. Look at how they are reporting (using that term loosely). Look at how they keep tieing togrther accusations. Muckraking 101. Trying to drive up clicks and sales to justify their dwindling ad revenue.
Let's not forget the Star has been going down the tubes faster than crap through a goose. They have to justify their existance to sell much smaller papers. They are piling on to any thread that will create hype. Smacks of desperation while "home town" MU is beyond putrid and mired in a long losing streak.
@BeddieKU23 What about JJ on motley? Hey gives up a couple inches but he plays bigger than he is, boards and boxes well. Maybe even get a couple over the back calls to put motley on the bench.
I gave up sleep for Lent.
It struck me during my daily fit of 3:30am insomnia...Where has Simien been during this ordeal? Isn't he the official team chaplain or advisor, or big brother. Or something? I would like to read an article about his role in this mess. Perhaps they could cuff Bragg to Big Dub for, say, a month, and see if some positive big brother tough love might just work. Who better to mentor our wayward son?
Wayne might be Braggs only hope.
^with apologies to the The Princess, may she rest in peace.
I would suggest not releasing him from the team until after the season, if that is Bill's final decision. Think of the media piling on and ca-ca storm they will create on top of what has already transpired if he does it now. Leave him on suspension until after we win the NC and quietly let him go during some other news cycle. He no longer deserves to be the focus of attention. Let's get back to hoops.
@KUSTEVE Did it seem odd to you we are #1 but top visual is of Gonzaga player?

Dear Bill,
I'm sorry. I was wrong. I'll never do it again.
I am pleased to report I was completly wrong in all aspects of my predictions. Great win!
@KUSTEVE I hope you are right. A shoot out might be our best bet. I was anticipating a cold shooting night combined with fatigue from not enough bodies to match up. I will be glad to eat crow as long as I can smother it in Arthur Bryant's Rich and Spicy!
@drgnslayr If you watch the video over in the jojo thread you really see your point in livi g color. Even jojo had a 3 blocked by a guy several inches shorter than him. And these are not even 2 of the mo s t highly rated teams in the vid. Crazy athleticism in the league.
The athleticism of.nba player is truly amazing. And jojo has become scary good. Thanks for the video.
Wish i felt more confident. Kensucky 77 KU 62. Pains me to say it.
@jaybate-1.0. Totally concur. Frank not athletic? Have you seen the video where he jumps off one leg over a small building? Ok its onto like a 4 or 5 foot mat but it's ridiculously athletic. That scout is a complete and utter moron.
I like the think positive and rally behind talk. I need more of that. But have you seen the build on that 6-9 260lb beast from ky? Without dok, we have no one who can match up with him.
Nadiir could be the pg. Or TT
@Blown Great poem, and wise words to pause and let it work out. However, from history when Bill says "violation" of team rules, it seams that generally means we never find out exactly what is was and it is Bill-speak for " pack your bags son, you have pushed me past the limit"
I hope I'm wrong and CB can get it back together. It does seem like the articles with his name and the term "drugs (or drug pariphinalia) " continue to surface. That is not good. Guilty by association? Maybe. Where there is smoke there is fire. Perhaps.
I do know never in a million did I think this sort of crap is what we'd be talking about with this team.
Ok this settles it. Keegan just "reported" ( I use that term VERY loosely with him) that a 7 man rotation was enough for Ted to make the F4 in 74. If keegs is saying it's an ok idea then we can assume it's not.
Generally speaking, I want the example to be a team that wins it all not the one that come up short.
@JayHawkFanToo Not wrong and @Lulufulu was sort of right. Come on you are grasping at straws. Jamari was the 8th in 12-13 (and the accusation was we only played 6). 9 or 10, or 9.6536217892 for the hair splitters are generally substantive minutes per game. You can have a legit role and play more than mop up. Look at this year, and with Doke out, we only have 7.
In 11-12 we did, in fact, play 7 + Some noble effort mins by movie Wilt. Makes you wonder what might have been had we had one more able and talented player.
And by the way, an aside is quite different than a topic change. The aside had to do with assessing Tyler's ability, not the 7 vs. 8+ debate.
@Lulufulu Sorry, not correct. 8 guys on that team played in 37 games and averaged 10 min per game ot more. Wesley was not one of them.
@JayHawkFanToo Uh, you missed the point there by several miles.
There is a Grand Canyon sized chasm between Connor and Tyler. I'd play lightfoot at guard before Tyler, as lovable as he may be.
@BeddieKU23 And how about their fans gasping and moaning and bellyaching about EVERY single call all night? They used to be more BBall savvy. They sounded like Texans and their low BBall IQ antics.
@jaybate-1.0 I can't ever recall Self going with a 7 man rotation and it has me concerned. We have to find a way for one more guy to give us 10 min a game so Frank and Davonte can steal a couple more minutes rest. Your tired horse comment is spot on, and now Frank also has a flat tire, to mix my metaphors. We have banner hanging talent and chemistry, but until we find one more capable body, I fear we will not have banner hanging health.
Well if he has a bad wheel the rest of the way no chance he will make it to #5. Let's hope he bounces back from it.
Doing a bit of number crunching this holiday morn which remembers the legacy of MLK. If Frank's stays on pace, he will end with 1881 points, in 6th behind Sheron by 2 threes and a free throw. This assumes we make the F4. If he has a couple big scoring output games along the way, he could wind up:
^5th all time scoring at Tradition U
^Top scoring guard of all time
Not bad a bad legacy (better with an NC) for one we did not recruit initially. Where does Frank rate for you among KU guards?
That ship done sailed. Only the league could take our okie genius.
