@BeddieKU23 I watched Baylor against Oregon and Florida Gulf Coast - looked like the same Baylor team from the last few years. This year, there are about six teams that will vie for a one seed. We HAVE to win at West Virginia and Iowa State to have a chance at a one, which would also put us in the Midwest region, with the regional in Kansas City. We need a one seed.

I'm down for an upset tonight as long as it's not us!!

@jaybate-1.0 not sure if that was a "branding game". You are right about what is needed out of a 4 and 5. The game is guard oriented, and we have that in spades. Our three need to buckle down and work their tails off inside.

@stoptheflop Bragg needs to shoot it much more often, same with Dok down on the block

@BShark Great comparison. I remember before the season started we were talking about how Josh needs to play like Winslow and Kidd-Gilchrist. Both of those guys had that competitive attitude and flair and I think Josh has that too.

@BeddieKU23 I love Josh's intensity and zeal.

Hoping for another solid shooting night. I also want our big guys to focus on rebounding. Those two things = blowout.

@BShark the only thing that we need out of Landon, Carlton and Dok is solid D and rebounding. Look at Villanova last year: the Arch, Jenkins, Booth, Brunson and Hart. Those guys carried the load. Yes, Ochefu was solid, but he was and is not Jahil Okafor, Anthony Davis or Joel Embiid. It was their guards that made that championship possible.

Our three big guys are at no disadvantage when compared to any other team, unless you think 6'10 245 is frail and weak. They need to get their heads in the game, have a little pride and do the fundamentals. Simple as that.

@drgnslayr I agree. Things are not as bad as some make it out to be. Look at what is happening to Oregon. We played poorly against Indiana (a legit top five team) and were in a position to win. We started off in a similar slow fashion last year and look how good the team was at the end.

Since Landon is getting more attention than last year, that means everyone else has to position themselves better. When he gets double teamed, someone is open. Part of that is on Carlton - he has to look to get in a shooting position once Landon finds him. BTW, I really don't know why we aren't doing more to get Carlton involved in pick and pops. Perry thrived off of that last year.

@chriz I said the other day, that is all on Self. He knows the grind of the season and the wear and tear Frank had last year, but doesn't do anything differently. Puzzling for sure

@kjayhawks rebounding and defense are mental, and I wish our big guys would consistently put more focus into their play.
