Holy shit. Hopefully the refs were not paid for overtime...
Dang...
FTs are the difference. Duke 10-14! KU 5-6....
Pushed out of bounds no call
Ayton>>>>>Bagley
I told you...the check cleared and now the refs are free to foul out KU.
I guess the Duke’s check finally cleared and now the refs are free to favor Duke.🤐👹🤬
Mugged by 3 players and no call?
Here we go...
Newman and Vick are 0-5 from 3, Svi and Devonté 4-9.
Graham is 3-6 and 2-5 from 3. Not bad.
Look at the numbers.
Carter averages 9.3 rpg.
They are letting Vick inside and he need to use the opportunity.
Carter is their best rebounder.
Hello Newman!!!
3 on Carter is big...
The only bad stat so far is TOs, other than that not too bad.
Dokevydying too hard not to foul and missing bunnies.
How is that on Vick?
Another call for Duke.
Norm Robers has more and higher level HC experience than Dooley.
These refs make me miss Ed Hightower...
I think Carter is a better defender than Bagley but not nearly as good on offense.
Everybody loves a Cinderella, Sister Jean’s bobble heads already available...hopefully properly licensed.
I wonder what is the line in foul differential for the KU - Duke game...I will guess 8?
Considering that uninvited guest troll’s handle (@loyolstud88) misspelled “Loyola,” I have to believe it really is @elpoyo.
The refs have really done a number on the Big 12 teams.
I never expect much from the purple kitties and they seldom disappoint. Having said that, congrats to them for a nice ride to the Elite 8 and advancing the conference cause.
Very few high profile HC position available and they don’t come around very often, particularly when he is one of the top 10 paid coaches in college basketball. Arizona could be one, depending on what develops with Sean Miller.
Doke is not the savant Embiid is but he has made consistent and solid progress and now he had several go to moves under the basket. It would not surprise me to see him develop a short jumper over the summer to go along with his baby hook.
In one post you went from confused fan to ignorant troll. If by any chance and lots of Sister Jean’s prayers we meet in the finals, will you be back?
KSU imploding.
You are obviously in the wrong forum, we love Sister Jean here.
What @Kcmatt7 said. If Marshall wanted to leave he could have done before because he has had several opportunities and he has chosen to stay at WSU. You have to give him credit because up to now he has shown loyalty to the program and he had gotten paid well in return.
UCLA offered and he passed.
I agree and several of those were first time ever in the Tournament. A #16 seed beating the overall #1 seed alone makes it different because it never happened before. Other first time results, none of the top 4 teams in one region advancing to the Sweet 16, a #9 playing a #11 seed to go to the Final Four. These are all huge events that make this tournament different than others.
I am sorry but the article on CBS is pretty biased trying to give the benefit of the doubt to Kentucky. Also, you should quote Brownks entire statement and not just the first part that fits your case. Look at the video, it took 10 seconds from the time Weber shook hands with the Kentucky staff to the time the KSU players were in line to shake hands...10 whole seconds; when Michigan beat Houston the player that scored the winning basket took a victory lap around the court with the entire team chasing him and celebrated for a long time and the Houston team waited to shake hands. You can see that 5 Kentucky players did stay and shake hands with KSU players while the rest, including the stars, were almost out of the court on their way out at the time which means they really did not wait at all.
I get it, the UK superstars were frustrated and humiliated having been beaten by the nobodies from flyover country and wanted to get out of there as fast as possible, but it’s not an excuse not to be sportsmanlike and wait to shake hands with your opponent.
This story can be spinned many ways but it comes down to...do you believe me or your lying eyes. MY last word on the subject.
I am more worried about Carter than Bagley, he is a better defender and rebounder.
My biggest worry is the refs. They have tried hard to be part of the story and determine the outcome of important games and the calls have varied wildly between games with some becoming foul-fest and others they have hardly called anything. The tried hard to give the game to a Kentucky and without their help, the Clemson game is a blowout, so we know they will not favor Kansas teams and coach rat face will be riding the refs from the get go.
If the refs get involved, as I suspect they will, KU will have to them and Duke as well which would be nice but very hard.

The Zebras allowed KSU to win. So, we have a chance.
The refs tried very hard to give it to Kentucky and KSU won in spite of them.
Here is a article with a video ↗ that shows KSU players in line to shake hand and 5 UK players stayed back and shook hands while the rest walked away. As the article points out, the celebration was short, 10 seconds from the time Weber shook hands right after the end of the game to the time the team lined up to shake hands.
Anyone still wants to defend theKentucky players that walked away?
Sunday game is at 4:05 PM.
Look at this breakdown of teams by State in the Sweet 16.
- Florida - 1 Florida State
- Illinois - 1 Loyola
- Indiana - 1 Purdue
- Kansas - 2 Kansas and Kansas State
- Kentucky - 1 Kentucky
- Michigan - 1 Michigan
- Nevada - 1 Nevada
- New York - 1 Syracuse
- North Carolina - 1 Duke
- Pennsylvania - 1 Villanova
- South Carolina - 1 Clemson
- Texas - 2 Texas Tech. and Texas A&M
- Washington - 1 Gonzaga
- West Virginia - 1 West Virginia
Only 2 states with 2 teams, Texas and Kansas
Elite 8
- Florida - 1 Florida State
- Illinois - 1 Loyola
- Kansas - 2 Kansas and Kansas State
- Michigan - 1 Michigan
- North Carolina - 1 Duke
- Pennsylvania - 1 Villanova
- Texas - 1 Texas Tech.
Only 1 State, Kansas, with 2 teams and happens to be the smallest of all the states represented and all its major Schools are in. Best college basketball State?
Only 1 conference with 3 teams, the Big 12, which showed up this year and proved to be the top conference top to bottom.
Purdue must be smarting from being eliminated 2 years in a row by Big 12 teams.
Mitch leads the team in charges taken and considering his playing time that is a heck of a stat.
The Ivan Drago clones?
I always thought that slapping the floor was a Michigan State tradition...so they stole that too in addition to the zone...
