Like a flash in the night, the one day rule at the top for Baylor is now over. Within 12 hours of being ranked number 1, they promptly got their asses beat by 20. I'm not celebrating, or enjoying this moment of "I told you so" as much as I'm somewhat savoring it, like one does when biting into the sweet spot of a perfectly grilled rib eye....medium rare.

When he practices against Josh Jackson for 4 months, the diva party is over. This kid has serious skills- all he needs is the right mentality. This guy is extremely talented with the ball, and can shoot lights out from the 3. The beauty is he doesn't need any help creating his shot.

@HawkChamp We beat a good team by 17. That said, we need to improve a lot more. But, it was a better effort. Good to see Devonte hasn't turned pro yet, and had his best game in a while.

Devonte finally came alive, and it helped the whole offense.

I think we're cakewalking. I can understand why the guys look at K-State as a bye week. We'll get better defensively- Devonte is saving his body for the big games, imo. Frank as well.

We are practically playing without a front court. We were murdered on the boards by Indiana. Landen has turned it around, but we are going to get pulverized trying to run the 4-1, and have an off night shooting. So, Carlton has to be Job 1. He is such a great interior passer, and to me it's a better entry pass anyway than our guards trying to feed Lando. We get 2-3 entry passes stolen a game, it seems like. He just needs to have enough time on the court to start making the plays that he can make on the offensive end. Because he is a real good offensive player- he can score.

I think Okie has a shot in this one. Baylor will sit back in that zone, allowing Evans, Forte, and Carroll to fire away from 3. I think this game will be a one possession game.
