@Kcmatt7 I've said all along that DG comes back for his senior year. He wants to have a Frank senior year, and he'll have it. I also would think that Vick comes back, although if he takes the money and runs, I wouldn't fault him a bit.

@KUSTEVE I would've liked to see more about Svi's breakout, and how Vick gives us a great scoring element off the bench. All in all, not too shabby...

@HawkChamp Josh is certainly quick enough to guard Monk. I imagine we'll see all three of our guards on him at some point.
We've had lots of games over the years where we've lost winnable games right before conference began. right at the Holidays. Remember the 20 point debacle at Temple? What about the mind numbing loss to San Diego State a few years back? The first half had all the same elements....the team looked like zombies, blowing a double digit lead, and letting a pretty good mid-major team work them over. Then it changed, the lightbulb came on, the defense was flat dominating, and the game was suddenly over. Clearly. Bye, Felicia. We just ate them alive. And that's why I think this team can win the national championship. We can change the whole game with our defense. Jack Gibbs joins the Grayson Allen club of big time guards who got their ass kicked playing us.
best game of the year, imo. two ole defenses trading buckets. we're going to hold the monk to under 20. they'll feel like a vice grip has grabbed them when we lock down on them. that's what we're going to remember most about this crew- they can really be a great defensive team .. i mean a national champion type defense.

@Fightsongwriter What did you do when you were 20? Not sure where the ecstasy reference comes from, but he wasn't charged with any crimes involving drugs/alcohol. He is under legal age to drink, so under the limit wouldn't apply- it is zero tolerance. I think he went a party, probably had some beer, and ran into a banshee.
@wissox I'm glad that didn't happen. That means Wayne doesn't play the 3, remains at the 2, and our ball handling suffers. It also means Devonte doesn't get the starter's minutes he got last year, and is still just getting his feet wet. I believe everything happens for a reason, and it worked out how it was supposed to. Just my opinion, though.

I think Bragg will play better now. I think his ordeal will allow him to think differently concerning what is going on out there on the court. I think it will free his mind, and let him renew his passion with a renewed vigor. I think it will turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
