They've all watched Bragg struggle. That jump from promising freshman to starter expected to fill Perry Ellis's spot is a really big jump. while Bragg has been struggling, they have been flourishing. While Bragg has looked tentative and hesitant, Frank/DG/JJ/Vick/Svi have looked, for the most part, dynamic. Maybe the kid got lovesick, distracted, emotional ... maybe it was the pressure combined with a huge dose of immaturity.... who knows? This whole time our team leaders have led, and will continue to play a tough minded brand of ball. This isn't 2013....that team would've been shell shocked.

The fan base always gets in a tizzy over things like this. Give our guys more credit than that- we have a mature, tough minded team that is going to mop the floor with Cornshuckers today.

I never went to the Hawk ( especially on Friday afternoon), never drank schooners, never went to Ichabod's Monday night Drink and Drown night, or anything of the sort. I was never at Jayhawk Towers when Darnell Valentine happened to use the elevator and 3 or 4 BIg KU fans, completely wasted fans by the way, happened to get on the same elevator, and proceeded to completely freak out Darnell Valentine, who couldn't wait to get off the elevator. No, that wasn't me.

The key word is "near". I figured 15 a game easily. Devonte is freeing him up to play the 2 guard, which is his natural position. He's a scorer, but the great news is if he isn't scoring, we have a roster who can. You can't take one guy out and beat us this year. If Frank scores 4 points in an NCAA game, we can still win.

@BeddieKU23 I don't think Baylor is as good as they appear. Oregon didn't have their best player, and Xavier isn't as good as advertised. Louisville simply can't beat zone defenses...they always seem to struggle against Boeheim. Louie also has lots of difficulties shooting the ball from the perimeter. Sooo, Baylor is the college bb flavor of the week, imo. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Thank God we're not perfect. I'm glad we have challenges to overcome- that means we haven't peaked yet. When we get the front line on the train, and we start shooting 70% from the free throw line, we're going to be spectacular. Last year, we put on quite a show in many games. Remember when our guys buried UCLA from the 3? We're going to have games just like that. We've got the most prolific backcourt in KU history, imo. Or 2nd most. Wait until Josh settles in....Frank, Devonte...just a group of badasses that can flat play both ends of the court. Add in Vick and Svi, and you've got a true murderer's row on the perimeter. Or down low when they drive to the hoop. We get these other guys on board...wow....wow.
