@Red.Rooster This might be out of left field, but do you have a co2 detector in the house? Saw a program the other day where exposure to carbon monoxide in the house caused a man's legs to ooze, and scratch incessantly. They bled, etc. Probably different circumstances in your case, but the symptoms you listed seemed somewhat similar. Turns out they had a leak in their heating system.

"C-4 has a texture similar to modeling clay and can be molded into any desired shape. C-4 is stable and an explosion can only be initiated by the combination of extreme heat and shock wave from a detonator ( Self).

@jaybate-1.0 That C-5 ain't no jive, but if you really want to soar, you gotta go C-4.

@HawkChamp this is example 1 why i should just stick to picking ku games.

kENTUCKY/LOL • Dec 03, 2016 05:57 PM

@BShark I'm glad when you pick against us. We can beat this 'Tucky team on their home floor.

kENTUCKY/LOL • Dec 03, 2016 02:40 PM

Tucky is going to curb stomp the UCLANS, imo. I want the media to anoint Tucky as all that and a bag of chips, so when our guards lay waste to their freshmen guards in Rupp, they'll have a litter of kittens.

@mayjay I had not heard that. Wow....

WHEN IN VENEZUELA.... • Dec 02, 2016 08:40 PM

@Kcmatt7 IMO, the financial collapse coming soon will make the whole world resemble Venezuela. Once the Fed raises the interest rates, and they will, it will be like a financial hurricane world wide.

WHEN IN VENEZUELA.... • Dec 02, 2016 04:46 PM

**Domingris Montano did the calculations as she stood in the rain at the midpoint of a queue outside a bank in Caracas. She needed to buy groceries. A package of rice would cost 3,500 bolivars, more than half the daily withdrawal limit, and the automated teller machine might be empty by the time her turn came. Maybe she could hit a few more before dark?

“I’ve had to go to six different ATMs just to get 6,000 bolivars,” said Montano, a 36-year-old hair stylist, poking her head out from under her umbrella to see if the people ahead of her at the Banesco Banco Universal CA branch were moving forward. They weren’t.**

Speaking of Vick ...my gosh, if he stays here next year...OMG.

Vick is developing beautifully, but.... • Dec 02, 2016 01:01 PM

@YellowBeak Thanks for your post. I ponder such issues probably too much- I know "culling the herd" is a communist principle that has been used in China and Russia within the past 100 years, with 70 million starved to death/ murdered. Once one begins to look at human beings as burdens, or viewed the same way they look at animals, then mass genocide...or mass indifference leading to death becomes possible.

Take for instance if the globalists decided that the world would be better off with 500 million people instead of 6 billion people, Well, if they came out and said let's kill 5.5 billion people, they would probably be met with massive resistance. However, if they said feeding all of these people is destroying our planet, so killing 5.5 billion people, or simply allowing them to starve will actually "save" the planet. I mean, it sounds real good at first glance..."saving the planet". The devil is always in the details, isn't it? Once the concept of human life as precious and sacred is removed, there are no limits to the atrocities that can occur.

@BeddieKU23 I'm actually at 85% so far for the year, but who's counting...hehehehe.... ( 6 out of 7 )....

@KUSTEVE Oops....guess I need to stick to picking KU games only...

Vick is developing beautifully, but.... • Dec 01, 2016 01:45 AM

@jaybate-1.0 Soros a Zionist? No. George Soros is a globalist. Soros is a jew in name only. All of them.... Hillary, Obama, the Bushies, etc. are all globalists, so looking at the prism of "globalism", we have to see what their primary goals are to understand why they think and act the way they do. So, what do the globalists really want?

  • They want to collapse the whole concept of nation states, and consolidate into a one world government.

*Globalists want all out annihilation of the Jews and Muslims in the middle east through war with each other. Which is one reason why Obama gave Iran 1.2 billion dollars, and turned around less than a month later, and announced a new aid package to Israel. You gotta have the $$$ to fight a war.

  • The overthrow of multiple middle eastern states ( The Arab Spring ) was a planned globalist event, with mobs of "protesters" being moved from country to country to create turmoil within the country, and help create a refugee crisis to put enormous amounts of pressure on western countries. Wasn't Rome destroyed by lack of assimilation from the northern hoardes? The middle east countries targeted for overthrow had their economies intentionally manipulated to create financial crisis which led to "revolution". You can review what happened to heating/cooking oil in Egypt before Mubarek was overthrown as one very clear reference.

  • Overwhelm the democratic countries with millions of refugees to dilute the nationalism of the countries, and create terrific pressure on the budgets of said countries. . Isn't it funny that displaced poor people can travel 5,000 + miles, and magically be right at the border, and not have two nickels on them? Soooo, who's moving all these people half a world away?

  • The next step is nuclear war in the middle east, and a worldwide financial collapse. You have to have complete financial collapse in order to overthrow multitudes of countries at the same time. You have to create what seems to be an insurmountable crisis in order for folks to submit to human slavery. This isn't your basic communist overthrow- this isn't a two bit Castro stealing every dollar out of every bank, every piece of land, every business in Cuba- this is big time stuff.

@wrwlumpy I predict they beat St. Marys.

@wrwlumpy "John Kennedy spent a semester taking a business class at Stanford."
or...
John Kennedy spent a semester laying pipe at Stanford.

@wrwlumpy I didn't know Madcow went to Stanford.

Vick '16 = McLemore @ KU • Nov 30, 2016 06:11 PM

@chriz Vick reminds me of Mac. Fair comparison, imo. Vick plays better defense, although I'd say that Mac was a better shooter at this stage. Of course, 9 for 9 is nothing to sneeze about.

Thoughts from the game • Nov 30, 2016 12:15 PM

@BeddieKU23 My preseason prediction about Vick is coming true, albeit not the way I thought it would. I figured it would take JJ longer to adapt to the college game, and folks would be clamoring for Vick to start ahead of JJ. Didn't see the Bragg collapse coming, and never would imagine Vick would start in lieu of Bragg. The end result is Vick is the starter from now on. He is an amazing player- there are times when he slashes to the basket, I think its JJ at first glance. DD had a good observation in the game chat last night- could Vick jump to the NBA this year???? Hope he sticks around for one more year.

Doke is getting the minutes to get better. Surrounded by 5 guys at times, he looked more confident, and played better. If we could teach him how to make a free throw, he could almost double his scoring output. I was glad LL took the game off- get rested, get 100%, Lando. We're going to need you.

This is a prolific team, a team for the ages. The passing at times last night was simply brilliant...the shooting was amazing. If we get LL, Doke, and CB playing good, then we have a real good shot at a national championship. I can't wait until we play Kentucky, and we shock the crap out of the pundits by eating their much vaunted freshmen guards alive.

@kjayhawks I'm going on the record - KU will win tonight. I'm thinking 94-59.

@wissox roy always loses to teams he shouldn't. Look at last year's UNC team.

Protecting the Merchandise • Nov 29, 2016 12:38 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 i'm still waiting for Vick to make his mark as a deadly shooter from outside. He's made strides, but i'm thinking him starting is really going to unleash his game.

Protecting the Merchandise • Nov 29, 2016 12:35 AM

@BShark I'm still mad at Rele for not shooting more. He was a great set shooter. That's who should've taken the final shot against Michigan.

Protecting the Merchandise • Nov 28, 2016 10:52 PM

@BShark Vick is more McLemore than Tyshawn, imo.

@dylans Would Duval play ahead of Newman?

Marcus Garrett Signed • Nov 27, 2016 01:00 PM

@BShark Any links to the game or box score? I couldn't find it.

*Graham becomes an uber facilitator - 29 assts in his last 4 games. Only 4 shots taken. I thought he played great...11 assists.....crazy good.

  • Vick is a starter from now on, imo. It is simply impossible for him not to force his way into the lineup. 15 points from nearly perfect shooting, and his 9 boards are a site for sore eyes. Go get that loose ball, Vick.

  • Jackson is our best player, and he shows it night after night. 7 assists from our superstar to go along with 3 blocks, 2 steals and 14 points. He is breaking the OAD mold, and is laying it out on the court every game.

  • Excited but cautious about Doke. He had his way down low last night. Of course, UNC-Ashville isn't exactly a powerhouse, so we'll see if he can translate those results when we face better competition. But, it sure was nice to have a player that can protect the rim, alter shots, etc.

So, as of this stage, I'm predicting the following players stay/go to the NBA:

Josh - might be first pick

Devonte - stays, so he can be the star. He is handing out lots of dimes , being the team player, while Josh and Frank grab the headlines. Next year is his year.

Carlton Bragg - I said preseason it was going to be a big jump for him to become a starter, and that he would be back next year. That is looking more and more like the case, as CB has some growing to do.

Svi- I've said all along him graduating from college would be paramount for a kid from a family of teachers, and his play screams for another year of seasoning. Great for spurts, he just needs more time to grow.

Our team next year :
Devonte

Newman

Vick/Svi

Preston/ Bragg

Doke

Geez Louise, what a powerhouse team.

KU vs Dawgs Round 2 Game Thread • Nov 26, 2016 12:27 AM

@BShark Vick and the Doke....to the starting lineup...oooolala....

@wissox No one has played a harder schedule than Michigan St this year, period. Throw in all those miles on top of it, and you've got a recipe for Michigan St to start 3-5. I think WSU beats them, along with Dook.

Jethro has a Bodine. I know why our frontline sucked. MIA. Non- existent. I know why we had to play zone against a mediocre team from a crummy conference. Here's the answer:

http://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/tom-izzo-apologizes-to-team-for-difficult-schedule-after-loss-to-baylor/ ↗link text ↗

Look at what that travel schedule did to Sparty.

We are a completely gassed team, and the 11,000 mile trip took a bigger toll on our bigs than our guards. Add in some injuries, new rule changes that light up fouls like a christmas tree, almost no practice for weeks, multiple games in a short period of time, and you have a formula for a frontline abduction to occur.

The solution is clear.....rest, and practice, practice, practice.

@jaybate-1.0 "Rung rady, I need sum flied lice". I'm sorry- that was inappropriate. Bad Jethro.

@BShark Well, we look terrible...a lot. It doesn't look like our front line has a clue. Never seen a Self team get beat on the boards like that. Which means when Bill gets it fixed, and he will, we will be simply on another level. Somewhere in the next 15 games, we're going to become the best team in the country.

UT TAKING A BEATING THIS WEEK • Nov 23, 2016 03:46 PM

@drgnslayr Twenty years ago, you probably would've been right. Austin is the most liberal city in the South, and UT's diversity in hiring coaches reflects a sea change in attitude compared with a generation ago.

KU BIGS • Nov 23, 2016 03:20 PM

@jayballer54 A month ago you were overwrought over recruiting. I think Coach Self answered that complaint pretty well. No doubt, we looked awful down low, and if we were being coached by Bruce Weber, or Scott Drew, I would certainly be freaked out over last night's performance. We know what our weakness is, and we have a hall of fame coach that will get this corrected.

UT TAKING A BEATING THIS WEEK • Nov 23, 2016 12:29 PM

Meanwhile… Shaka is buried in the middle of a turd pie. I’m not a Shaka fan, but I’m starting to feel like he won’t get a fair shake down there. I believe his leash is short and the consequences around failing will be tragic for him.

Won't get a fair shake? Disagree. UT doesn't care about basketball. Never has- never will. Abe Lemons? They gave Barnes 17 years. He frittered away some of the best talent known to man. Shaka would have to have 3 losing seasons in a row before they'd even look into making a move. He's signing top talent, with no controversies surrounding the team or the coach- he'll be fine as frog hair, imo.
