Weak call.
@wissox I stand corrected!!
BS Call, he tripped over his own feet.
Holy Dan Marino JJ!
Great pass Devonte Graham. Knock down your free throws Mason!!
Yes Yes Hell Yes!!
Come on Devonte!!
@Bwag You must not be screaming loud enough? Lets go!!
@Bwag You got to believe they can!! Lets go!!
Lets support team. Easy to say they are not playing well. Lets cheer them on!
Lets Go Jayhawks!!
Finally
Come on LaGerald
Lets go Jayhawks! Refs not calling anything our way.
@drgnslayr If Devonte and Svi come back next year, will they be featured in the offense by Coach Self?
@stoptheflop Thanks. Devonte does not appear to be looking for his shot as much. I like it when he looks to score as well. We will need more offense from Devonte going forward. I am thankful for his defense, rebounding, passing skills and the way he runs the offense. 22-3!
@drgnslayr We have been getting everyones best shot all season. It is time for someone to get our best shot. Hopefully, that comes tonight. Josh is going to get better. My opinion is that he is too amped up when he gets to the free throw line. Most of his misses hit the back of the rim. Carlton is coming along and running the floor better. Once he improves on ball security, watch out! Frank has a team, that has his back even if he is not full strength until the weekend. I don't really comment on recruiting. Once a player becomes a Jayhawk, it's all good! Outstanding board discussion.
Where was Devonte Graham? Helping win the game from what I could see. For example, at 3:23 left in the game Graham blocks a shot on a Texas Tech player's drive to the basket. It's not in the box score, I don't know why, but it was a clean block. 2:05 left in the game Graham throws a perfect lob to Josh Jackson for a two hand slam dunk. 58 seconds remaining he throws a pass into the paint to Lucas, who is fouled reaching for the passes. Unfortunately, Lucas misses the front end of the 1 and 1. Devonte Graham pulls down a rebound with 15 seconds left that leads to Josh Jackson's game winning free throw. As the Texas Tech player attempts to throw up a prayer at the buzzer to win the game, the KU player that got in the way and stopped him from getting off a decent shot was Devonte Graham. What an excellent effort by a young man that does the things that don't always show up in the box score, like guarding 3 different Texas Tech players, including their big man on one possession. It is great to see a young man do the things necessary to get a team victory instead of being a me first player only worried about himself. I love watching this young man play the game of basketball.
22-3!
@drgnslayr Devonte Graham is an excellent player and he is doing enough to support his team. This is Frank Mason's Senior Year, and Devonte is doing a great job supporting Frank as well as Josh. They are both gone after this year. If Devonte comes back, I am sure he knows that it will be his team. Devonte, being the Alpha that he is, stepped up to the line and cashed in 4 straight free throws without a miss against KSU. That's what Alpha's do. He also plays great defense. It may not show up in the box score, but I really appreciate his efforts.
@JayHawkFanToo Wow, thanks! Definitely answers my question. Could not have walked on at KU. Not even with Dad's influence.
@autohawk I know. I don't understand it at all. It has to be something?
Does anyone think Fran wanted his son to be a walk-on at KU instead of OU? If so, does anyone think that Fran's son was good enough to walk on at KU? I don't. I do wonder if that conversation took place? I wish I could figure out a reason for the KU hate?
@Crimsonorblue22 The team as a whole dedicating the game to this young lady and having members of both teams and maybe few LA area athletes that were on twitter referencing the game, sign the game ball and present it to her would bring more awareness to her situation.
@Crimsonorblue22 Definitely. Young lady is a sister of a member of the High School Dance Team and she needs a heart transplant. The youngest Ball brother dedicated the game to her and scored as many points as he could. His brother was injured and did not play in the game.
@Crimsonorblue22 Thoughts and prayers to young student that needs a heart transplant.
Fran Fraschilla shows up to every KU game that he can, hoping that we will lose. He spends much of his time advising the audience what oponents need to do to defeat Kansas. It is really quite sad. Last year, he tried to convince viewers that Frank Mason was not even in the discussion of best guards in the country and has been eating his words ever since. I could really do without him. He always talks about New York, so he should call Syracuse or even Iona games and I think we would all be happy. At least I know I would.
@jayballer54 The oldest brother that plays for UCLA, Lonzo is a great ball player. His brother's however, are volume shooters and need to show that they can move the ball. We have seen them shoot it, but what else do they have to their games?
@Crimsonorblue22 Hell no, not in a million years. "The ball doesn't stick" is Bill Self's motto!
146-123 in a 32 minute basketball game? No defense whatsoever. From what I saw, he didn't go past half court to play defense. That is not very impressive.
@kjayhawks Good points. I think we will be a tough matchup for any team come tournament time!
@kjayhawks It's nice to have so many scoring options on this team. Svi, Vick, Lucas, are capable scorers in addition to Jackson and Mason III. We have options and we are moving the ball pretty well. There have been some unforced turnovers lately and hopefully they get that together. Bragg appears to have gotten things going in a positive direction. He looked good vs KSU. As far as Graham, I think he is doing exactly what his coach is telling him to do. He keeps the ball moving and he picks his spots. Whenever we need a defensive stopper, Graham always seems to be up for the challenge. I love the way he takes over games on defense.
@drgnslayr Against KSU. Devonte Graham 7 boards, 6 assists, 10 points to include 4 for 4 from the free throw line down the stretch. He is plenty alpha for me. He also is deferring to Frank and Josh knowing that this is their last year. Devonte Graham is an extreme Alpha. I am so impressed with his play. He can take over games when needed and he can get other's involved. He is a great leader and I hope he comes back and leads us again next year.
Glass Houses.
@stoptheflop He should have 4.
Foul!!
That shows heart after a terrible start!
Takedown my a**!
Welcome back Carlton Bragg! I never doubted you! Okay, now I'm lying!
Welcome back Carlton Bragg!
BS call, but I am biased!
Way to play KU!!
Fran and Higgins, wow.
How many times will this KU Hater get to broadcast our games?
@Crimsonorblue22 You are right. I think he can handle it. He will be happy to get back on the court. He has to feel bad about missing the ISU game.
@JayHawkFanToo I think so. If he plays to his potential around the basket and mixes in a constant jumper around the free throw line, we could be really really dangerous.
@JayHawkFanToo Good deal. Hopefully he is ready to make a difference?
Bragg suiting up?
@Crimsonorblue22 Oh so true! Off the glass!
@KUSTEVE We lost, but it still doesn't remove the bad taste that EJ left in all of their mouths!
