I do think we are criticizing the #4 offense in the country a bit much... While I can hear the argument that this team isn't playing up to their full offensive potential, they are still an elite offense. This while Dave has been mostly butt, Remy hasn't been at 100%, and Wilson is playing 25 mpg while on a stretch that makes me yearn for the offensive prowess of freshman Marcus Garrett.

While I do agree that we should have looked for a rim protector big man, I don't think it is the end of the world. I don't have that same feeling of worry for the 1st round exit like I did a year ago. Just too much talent imo. Ignoring the Dayton fluke, the next closest game has been an 8 point win.

Also, we should all get used to winning ugly. Because that is going to be the B12 this year.

Literally not a "Bad" defense left on the schedule. The B12 is going to be a bunch of fist fights where very few wins feel like they come easy.

We do all know that Bryce hits like 5 threes tonight

The advantage we have is that Bill seems to save things for B12 play and crank it up. Hopefully he has saved a few easy buckets and set plays from getting on tape by not playing TCU and Colorado.

Could learn a lot about how the rest of the season goes from tonight's game

@benshawks08 We have clearly been better without him on the floor so far this season. Hopefully JCL's performance this last game gets him some more PT over Jalen.

I genuinely think if Jalen wasn't just a shell of himself that Bill would be going 5 guards 20+ mpg and running teams out of the gym with the best offense in the country. Jalen being back to .333+ from deep and not a total headcase changes the dynamic a lot.

Agree. Guards/wings are good enough to get to a FF. The post situation will see this team out in probably the first weekend, but best case the second.

It is a damn shame that the transfer market was what it was, and all we got was a 6'8 D2 C who may never play a game in a KU uniform out of it.

It did but we didn't help ourselves. Chase torched us in the first half and we didn't switch anything up in the 2nd half. Trying to prevent a field goal we blitzed 3rd and 27 and gave up a 1st down like idiots. Just keep everything in front of you and it is a 40+ yard field goal in the cold. It was obvious we should have let them score when they got the ball to the 4. We never saw the ball again (idc if we stopped them on 4th, it was the wrong decision 9 out of 10 times).

Better this week than in two weeks. But still stings. that bye week is just such an advantage.

@Jethro yea he really isn’t leaning into our strengths of having nearly unlimited guard depth. Run in transition and pressure the ball. Let the threes fly and clear the lane for drivers.

Second post like this in the last year. Never understand the complaining and not “being the change they wish to see in the world.” WHY DONT ALL OF YOU POST HOURS OF CONTENT FOR ME TO ENJOY FREELY?

Also Ironic to call those who are still here “easily offended” while those who left somehow, not?

Anyways I’m just going to turn this into an appreciation post. I love all of you who take time out of your life to contribute here in any form or fashion. I’ve posted almost 8k times. @approxinfinity 12k times AND runs the site. @BShark has 27k posts. @FarmerJayhawk is over 6k.

Most of you have been here a long time. I myself have been posting here longer than I have know my wife. Over 7 years now. You all are borderline family.

I do agree we used to have more ANALYSIS. I myself used to make long posts, but life has prevented me from that level of analysis where I take 2 hours of my day to make a post. I’d love to see more of it, but totally understand that everyone has life commitments. Myself included.

In the last two years I’ve gotten married, bought a house that needed a lot of TLC, gotten a huge promotion, picked up golf (my handicap is under bogey golf now) and published my very first article. My wife is in the midst of starting a business and now we are thinking about getting a puppy.

Life happens and we all have to balance our time. If this place is still around when I’m retired I promise to have more ANALYSIS posts.
