So we now have 3 scholarships open and that doesn't change if Garrett returns or not.

Garrett still may return fwiw.

Starting 5 could theoretically still remain unchanged...

As of now the only returners are the starting 5 minus Garrett. And then Harris and Mitch.

I think we could have done a lot better with that scholarship, so he better be good. That's all I'm going to say.

I feel like the leash is going to be so short on him. He gets one bad year, but if by year 2 he doesn't have an ACC contender he's getting the can.

It's becoming disrespectful to Keith who has legitimately been one of the best ever Euroballers. What he's done, it isn't easy. It isn't textbook. He's 37 and still playing ball for millions. At 35 he just won player of the year in his league in Greece. That's just not normal.

He's an absolute stud who could have played in the NBA so not everyone can just "be Keith. Just do what Keith did."

The guy has made $2-3M a year for 10+ years now. That isn't normal for most guys. Keith has now become the exception, not the rule. Now it should become "he should HOPE he can be the next Keith Langford." Doing what he's doing now at 37 years old is INSANE. And we should put a little bit more respect behind his name.

@wissox Well this is something I can definitely agree on... Analytics has changed the game away from what used to be known as "good" stats.

Hitting .300 is no longer really a stat that we care about. The Mendoza line has become meaningless if you can hit 50 HRs while you do it.

I do think they should work to get more balls in play, but I'm not sure how they do that without very big rule changes. Moving the mound back a few feet and deadening the ball could help. But I don't really have an answer.

When Bill came and it changed it was one of the many strikes I had against him. (I think I was 10 at the time?). In my mind, Bill was never going to be Roy. And I was sooooo sure of this in his 3rd season.

We started the season losing to Arizona and Arkansas at the Maui Invitational. Then we lost at home to Nevada and St. Joe in MSG. We were 3-4 to start the season. Then we got a little hot but lost to Mizzou and KSU back to back games and started the conference season 1-2.

Obviously young me was calling for his head.

Then we go on to win 15 of 16 conference games, win the conference, win the conference tourney (and unfortunately this is the Bradley season).

But yea I still think of the old half court logo pretty much every game I go to. Really miss it.

Cincy head coach out... Have to wonder why it took this long. Now they're behind the gun a bit.

I would not come to KU if I was TyTy and wanted to be the primary ball handler. He is going to get used differently by Self.

If he wants to have a shot at a Natty - and still get put in the position to shine - this is the place to come. He'll get some primary ball handler duties. But he would also get to play off the ball.

Ooh. Tough. I think Bryce could be anywhere from out of the rotation to leading scorer next season.

I think we saw plenty of ability to separate from his man. His speed a few times.

But he was wild and out of control and Inconsistent. Things that experience tend to help with.
