A great sign I saw last night in the stands read:
Real Hall of Fame Coaches Wear Suits.
A clear jab at the non-fashion sense of Huggy and his windbreaker!

@Crimsonorblue22 and @wrwlumpy Thanks for the smiles each of you brought me.
Priceless. This is what @HawkInMizery has for his signature.

@StLJhawk "Landon Lucas with four fouls..."
You would think ESPN could at least spell Landen's first name right! :-1:
Bracketology: Baylor might've blown Big 12 shot, but is still a No. 1 seed for now
Baylor lost ground to Kansas in the Big 12 standings with a loss at Texas Tech
by Chip Patterson & Jerry Palm

The rest of the Big 12 would love to see Kansas' Big 12 conference title run stopped at 12, keeping the Jayhawks one short of tying UCLA for the all-time record of consecutive regular-season league championships. Players talked about it at the league's media days prior to the start of the season and, given the league's strength from top-to-bottom, there seemed to be a decent chance that someone (Baylor, West Virginia, possibly a mystery team) would be in a position to claim the crown.
Baylor has been a top-five team and was introduced as a No. 1 seed in the eyes of the selection committee when the top 16 teams were revealed Saturday on the March Madness Preview show. The Bears are on par with Kansas in almost every metric other than the conference standings, and they lost even more ground in that area on Monday night with a 84-78 loss at Texas Tech.
Despite the loss, Baylor will remain a No. 1 seed, according to CBS Sports Bracketology Expert Jerry Palm. Here's why Palm is not dropping them in his bracket:
Despite the loss, the Bears will remain on the top line of the bracket for now. When the committee released its top 16, chair Mark Hollis talked about how there was a clear line between the No. 1 seeds and the No. 2s. Part of that is that all of the No. 2 seeds have at least five losses. Baylor has played a strong schedule and still has a high number of quality wins, so it still belong ahead of North Carolina.
This is the best team that Scott Drew has had in Waco since the 30-win season and Elite Eight run in 2012. The development and emergence of Johnathan Motley as one of the country's best has paired with top-notch team defense to make Baylor a team that is still very capable of making a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. But the Bears have dropped three of five this month and are on the verge of missing their shot at knocking the Jayhawks from their perch.
Even though the game was clunky (53 combined fouls will do that), this is a great win for Texas Tech, an outsider to the tournament picture for now. Chris Beard and the Red Raiders fell one point short of knocking off Kansas on Saturday but got that first signature home win against Baylor.
Baylor's recent slide started Feb. 1 at Kansas, and now their only shot to jump back into the conference title race is to knock off the Jayhawks in Waco on Saturday. The head-to-head win, splitting the season series and bringing Kansas back to the pack in the Big 12 standings, can reverse some of what was lost on Monday night in Lubbock.
So when does the "Coach of the Year" talk STOP about Drew? We previously talked about him/his team folding at some point like they have done every year. HCBS must take his place as we are on our way to get #13KUMBB.
@Blown You sure it is not the $25k he lost out on?
Rock Chalk Jayhawk. We showed some real grit there the last 2-1/2 minutes, but frankly I wish they had played liked that throughout the game. Was a tough one to watch but never lost the faith. I thought we had blown our chance with so little time left and the 3's not there. But never say never. At least we didn't have to suffer with Aunt Fran but the hype for us losing two in a row was stomach turning. Frank still sounded sick in the post game on Sportscenter. Great conf. win and helps solidify #13KUMBB.
@BShark The first half they did. Couldn't keep up the second and lots of TOs.
@BShark That's not hard to do is it?
I need a couple of :beers: after that sorry assed game. I can breathe a huge sigh of relief now. Geez.
We cannot go OT again.
COME ON JOSH. Make these.
We got a foul.....
@DCHawker Thank goodness he did or we wouldn't be anywhere close.
Gotta score on next possession and then get a takeaway.
@bskeet Rule No. 1 in fandome.
Hustle play there.
@globaljaybird We bring out the best in one player in every other team
We need #BIFM2.0 now.
RCJGKU
Tech fans must feel like Falcons when they were up 28-3.
@approxinfinity Streaky, Up 10 at times but then falling asleep on defense.
Come on guys. Josh can't do it all by himself. DG and SVI need to contribute each play.
Frank! 3 fouls. Maybe he wants to sit.
Hope he didn't hurt it.
JOSH!
Good first play for LL
85 today but front coming next week. I should be outside but my projects will have to wait for another hour. Giddiup Guys. Get another good half in and get on your way back home.
Good showing of our fans at the game. Heard them cheering during our run.
@globaljaybird Agree. We don't need any added pressure. We've generated enough against ourselves.
@DCHawker Discrepancy in fouls too - we had the bonus and couldn't take advantage.
Did you all discuss our No. 1 seeding today by committee? CBS didn't even show one clip of our team. It was all Villanova.
@Crimsonorblue22 They missed him badly.
Why was DJ Johnson not playing for Ksucks?
Soooooooooooooooooo nice not having to listen to Aunt Fran!!!
See how fast they made this run?
Good to see offense spreading it around. Frank can take it easy this game if others are scoring.
You guys are ahead of me on the feed again :-1:
Howdy! Rock Chalk Bucketeers!
This is what he does every game!
@KUSTEVE Dave Armstrong is the one with Piper.
I think this chart shows what our PLAYING HARD has resulted in:
@JayHawkFanToo I heard him on Mark Packer's show yesterday say "A lot of KU fans think I root against them." He knows what he said was true but then said nothing as to WHY fans feel that way.
@mayjay :100:
@BShark Not any different than liberal Austin, TX (where the nutso legislature meets) and certainly not funny as they are trying to shove through the North Carolina bathroom bill (only more stringent!) here along with so many other "let's get our base scared" bills.
@Crimsonorblue22 I'm surprised they could count that high!
@BeddieKU23 How does he get away doing this ALL game?
