Even though different positions comparing what it might take, compared and the Return of Jt Toppin at Tech was right around Four Million , so if your looking at Lewis and wanting to be considered serious probably would be right around same

In 135 years of baseball for us our - - -27- - -- 6 record is the best record through the first 33 games in School History & -- -9- -3 in conference play is the best start in Big twelve history.

Some other interesting nuggets include :KU leads the Big 12 in walks & and 3 rd in the Nation - -- - KU has hit 73 home runs so far three away from setting a School record in a Season - - -KU is tied for 6th in the Nation in hits -- -- KU is tied for 7th in the Nation in Runs Scored- ---- 8th in the Nation in Slugging percentage-- - 11th in the Nation for Runs scored per game - -- & 15th in the Nation in on Base percentage- - -& they are ranked 31at in the Nation on fielding- - they are racking up some pretty impressive things guys - -you need to check them out

They play Nebraska for a single game tonight before a Huge series this weekend with TCU. KU is in first place in the Big Twelve I think they said for the first time since like 2009 ?- -They play Nebraska tonight at 6:00 on ESPN Plus-- give them a look -- ROCK CHALK

Watching the Locked on Jay Hawks pod cast , and talking about how good a fit Rodney Rice would be with Darryn. Not a guy would demands having the ball in his hands, averaged 13.8 shoot 43 % from the field , just over 37 % from the three - -81 % free throw his on/off eff was really good as with him on was a plus 19- - dam good, now was not quite as good on defensive end minus 5- - was 77 percentile in his three point shooting--- -in three pint efficiently was 84 % - -and a guy who just didn't turn the ball over - in the 92 % efficiently would be a nice fit with Darryn- - a 6'4 kid could classify him as a shooting Guard can play some PG -combo guard , pretty nice

Read where the guys have now hit 73 home runs two away from the - School record. - -Their 27-- -6 record is the best in School History , ranked 23r but probably going up and will be ranked by the other recruiting services. Plus we are now FIRST in the League with our 9 -3 record,

A couple of really tough series coming up. We have TCU @ TCU for three and then not this weekend but the next we have KSU at Hoglund for a HUGE , HUGE three games series. Hope fans show

KU hit Three more Home runs just smashing the ball - -Leading the league in home runs and leading the league in walks, Sixth in the Nation in Home runs & Sixth in the Nation in walks.

Even the announcers not KU announcers actually believe these guys were UCF announces , talking about how dangerous KU was one through nine in the batting order. How KU hitters just don't go after bad pitch's - -how they work deep in the count , making pitchers work. How good they are defensively -31st in the Nation- -Go for the sweep this afternoon at 1:00 'm telling you , you need to check these guys out

@BeddieKU23 Thank you , just got to hope for the best I reckon - -some more positive then a couple of days ago. I too was wondering why the heck hadn't seen anything on a five.. I think Flory if he comes back can very well make a sufficient jump in his offensive game, he just got to be more careful on the defensive end and getting in foul troble.

Still need a pretty solid three or four to go along with him and Peterson , hopefully if he does come back somebody also that is willing to be a role back up for him

Probably the best of the news is - -Emanuel Henderson the WR portal receiver from Alabama , talk from other WR's talking about the things he can do and such impressive,-- -One of the best things being said so far is- - - -SPEED, his best right now is 21,8 MPH , that's not to shabby, and talk about how he can get separation . The way things have been going in our sports, we have got to have something encourgaging to feel good about- -Emanuel can bring us that. Another Grimm Reaper only better

Hell next thing we know our student Mgr's and water boys & equipment mgr's will be hitting the portal

Well not the prettiest ball game tonight but the guys go to 24- - -6 on the Season beating South Dakota St - - -10- 7.--- Led 9-1 and SD scored six runs in the seventh. lots of bleeding weakly hit seeing eye hits and throw in some walks made it 9-7 but pulled it out in the end.- -a win is a Win guess you have to have a couple of these throughout the Season. Here is a few good things we have going for us.- - -- We are 5th in th Nation with 63 home runs on the year , hit two more tonight. KU School record is 75 - they should demolish that.
