Does anyone know and or seen if KU has actually submitted the appeal for Silvio. I know when Mizzou appealed their sanctions that their AD sent a tweet out and announced it. I just haven't seen or read anything about Silvio's.

Also, this might be over thinking it but I wonder if the school was waiting for the sentences for the men involved in all of this. Those guys got 6 and 9 months. The school could then say it is insane that while Silvio is not in jail he is basically serving a 24 month sentence... Like I said I am probably over analyzing it, but I guess anything in the shit show is possible.

In order for this team to get to a 2 seed I think they need to win out and also get some help.
Duke, Zags, UVA, Tennessee, UK, Michigan, UNC, & Texas Tech, are all clearly way out ahead of KU. Actually now that I look at it I am not sure they can get a 2 seed. They for sure would have to win 5 straight games to be in the discussion.

The NET rankings are not the end all be all when it comes to seeding. Just like the RPI wasn't it is just one tool they use. You could see that when the committee released their top 16 seeds about a month ago and KU was a 2 seed. At that time they were ranked 18th I believe in the NET. People get so wrapped up in one thing when it actuality the committee looks at so many different rankings and measures when it comes to seeding.

KU should absolutely not change anything about the way they schedule. Their are so many advantages to playing big time games.

Well we will know by Monday night if the streak lives. KSU plays at TCU. They win that they will get too 14 conference wins. They aren’t losing at home to OU on Senior night.

If Baylor could stop turning it over. 14 so far.

@justanotherfan his shooting is developing? I haven’t seen any developments in his shooting this year. He has a long ways to go when it comes to scoring the ball. He can get to th rim, but can’t finish through contact or against bigger guys, and he can’t shoot from three right now.

I said in another thread I don’t even think he will test the waters this year.

Tech is just rolling now. They have been playing on a different level for the last few weeks. Funny enough OSU is the only team to compete with them in about 3 weeks.

That might have been the last straw for Texas and Shaka. They finish with Iowa State and Tech so they are most likely going to be 15-15 and miss the tournament.

Duke isn’t even listed on his schools of interest so certainly this is new .

Duke is now recruiting Trendon Watford. Pretty sure they haven’t been on him until now. I know there is some Hurt and Duke smoke but wonder if this is a back up plan.

@BeddieKU23 I actually read a article yesterday talking about how weak the bubble was and that .500 in your conference will not matter this year. There are going to be some really bad teams get at-large bids this year.

@kjayhawks I always thought if you were a top 4 seed they try to send you somewhere "close" for the first and second rounds... Jerry Palm has KU as the 4 in Jax as well I believe.

I would think they end up in Tulsa or Des Moines if they don't shit the bed down the stretch.

If and when Miller gets fired at Zona there will be a free for all on their #1 ranked recruiting class as well.

Almost all bracketologist have KU as a 4 seed right now from what I’ve seen.

You could tell right after he hit his first three pointer that it boosted his energy. After that first shot fell he had a little extra pep in his step and it continued through out the whole game. It was awesome to see, and I hope we get that Q going forward.

There is such a huge difference between a 3 & 4 seed due to the fact of having to face the #1 seed in S16. Hopefully this team can win 3 more to close out the season and move back up to the 3 line.
