Can’t hit now.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 07:03 PM

That timeout was very effective

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 07:01 PM

@benshawks08 said in Boomer 2 Game Thread:

Uncalled travel. Three points for ou.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:50 PM

Finally something good.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:40 PM

@approxinfinity yeah which is really a mystery given that we have seen the bench players can bring it on other days.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:32 PM

If Dave has an injured foot then Remy must have an amputated leg based on the way they are played.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:30 PM

It sucks to feel good that we are only down by 3 at the half. At home. To a team with 10 losses

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:29 PM

We are just not sharp or quick.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:27 PM

Finally

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:26 PM

One team is fired up.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:25 PM

Errr. That was not it

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:25 PM

Need some stops.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:21 PM

I would hope that we would be improving at this point in the year. But I don’t see us doing anything different that we were 4 weeks ago and now coaches seem very well prepared.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:19 PM

Crap. Double crap

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:18 PM

Our chaotic passes are not helping us

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:16 PM

We are slow today

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:13 PM

Yay!

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:12 PM

Christian Braun with 1 attempt and it was forced at the end of a shot clock. Wilson one tip.

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:10 PM

Can always count on an early CBS game to bring out our worst

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:09 PM

Are we a jeckyl and Hyde team or what?

Boomer 2 Game Thread • Feb 12, 2022 06:07 PM

Really anemic offense so far

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 04:16 AM

Also, this game is not an isolated event. This seems to be the way the B12 crews are calling things. The tech game that we lost was similar. The KState game we won was similar. And non KU games are being called this way too.

It is not the way the other conferences are officiated.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 04:11 AM

Yes they let both teams assault about equally.

I don’t like that kind of basketball.

Reminds me of a really shitty regional final I saw I think it was Pitt vs Memphis. That game was in the 50s. These teams deserve better.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 04:08 AM

If that game is called like a normal basketball game we win by 15-20 because they foul out 3 with 7 minutes left in the game and we shoot about 10 more free throws.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 04:06 AM

The biggest choke is the officials that must be choking on their whistles.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 03:59 AM

Just like the end of the first half. Wheels flying off the wagon.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 03:57 AM

Don’t expect a foul.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 03:56 AM

So, this is just like the end of the first half.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 08, 2022 03:45 AM

I hate the way the big12 officials are officiating games this year.

Talent Wins Games • Feb 06, 2022 11:20 PM

As I recall, part of the reason they shot 60% was because they had their way with us in the paint (dunks and lots of offensive rebound/putbacks).

I remember when we were that kind of team. We just don't have the personnel this season.

Talent Wins Games • Feb 06, 2022 09:38 PM

Matchups matter in March.

We are not without flaws, but so are others. The flaw revealed by UK was simply talent and athleticism. The good news is that no team can make that adjustment in March. They will have what they have. The bad news is the the NCAA committee will now know where to find our kryptonite.

Nonetheless, there aren't that many teams that can bring the talent that UK brings. We should be able to get to the second weekend before any kryptonite teams are in our path.

Non-KU Games • Feb 06, 2022 09:03 PM

I think if we grade teams on depth of talent, KU has to be one of the best if not the best. The ISU game sold me on this.

Kentucky and Gonzaga may be the teams with the best talent in the starting 5.

Agree it should be a pretty wild tourney

2023 croots • Feb 06, 2022 08:59 PM

My son ('24) went to elementary, jr high and now is in high school with Derrick Sangster ('23) who is getting more and more D1 attention.

Wash State contacted him last year as a sophomore. Now it looks like a bunch of WCC schools are recruiting him. I don't know what his interests are... but sure wish KU could build a bridge to this HS (Archbishop Mitty) and their league for recruiting -- It is very competitive in athletics (FB, BB, women's sports) and the speech and debate team has a string of California state titles going since 2015.

WVU Game Thread • Jan 15, 2022 09:56 PM

The second half wasn't the ceiling for this team, but it's a lot closer to their potential. It was a good time to put things together.

Hopefully, this gives them confidence that they can deliver a knockout to almost anyone and they can work on consistency at or near that level.

Post WV game thoughts • Jan 15, 2022 09:40 PM

That second half was what I thought this team was all about. I hope we can see that team play more often.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:48 AM

God. What has happened to our offense?

Can't get to 60?

Really?

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:41 AM

Officials are increasingly trying to influence the games. Not just ours. It's epidemic.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:37 AM

Harris's turnover to assist ratio will not be good.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:32 AM

If this game gets to 70 it will be a miracle.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:21 AM

where's Dave tonight?

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:19 AM

Score looks good right now, but ISU had a 9 pt lead with 10:45 left in the first half.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:03 AM

Good outcome in Waco.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 02:00 AM

TT - Bay will go to OT I predict

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 01:58 AM

Rebound Rebound Rebound

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 01:57 AM

Let's keep them at 0 as long as possible!

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 01:53 AM

6 - 0 start to the second half is goodness.

ISU Game Thread • Jan 12, 2022 01:23 AM

can we tie by halftime?

Red Raiders • Jan 08, 2022 10:53 PM

Not scoring 70 with all the scorers we have is disappointing to say the least.
