Hocutt determined that Adams' comment was unintentional and an isolated incident following his inquiry.
Speculation of course on my part. But I suggest we probably never hear about this alleged incident if TTU is top half of the conference and looking at a decent NCAA seed.
Overall it seems clear that Adams lost this group and I can imagine it's not difficult to do.
@Crimsonorblue22 will be interesting to see how TCU handles that situation. Obviously they are in a much better position than was TTU.
Not saying they need a new one... But I'm pretty confident there's been enough bricks in this OSU/OU game to build a new arena
Would like to have seen more evidence of their internal investigation. Allegations should never be enough. It seems as though TTU was just kinda done with Adams. Sounds like he could kinda tell that and walked away from a deteriorating situation

I see the point above too.. having a KU alum is terrific if it's a slam dunk hire and you get a CS or someone that can become that in a lil time. Because we have this tradition of not having a revolving door on the program coaching wise(which I love). But if it doesn't work, you don't wanna be stuck with them for years too long over not wanting to fire an alumni

I think we'd all be happy with just consistency throughout a game. It's certainly a human element. But the game is not about you. Don't put your handprint on it by altering the way or when or when on the clock you whistle. Right?

Hard for me as a former coach(certainly not at that level) to believe a coach would purposely want to insult their players especially in a racial way. Most ppl I've known that coach, you fall in love with the kids. Love watching how they grow, etc. But there is evil allover the world and it comes in all shapes. So it is possible this is the situation here.
I'm just not gonna decide without more information that this is definitively the case because Adams is white. If others choose to do that, then that is their right as well.
Other tidbit I would add is this. Lay the rest of it aside. When you think someone doesn't want to listen to you? More words aren't generally going to convince them. Lol

I'm never gonna think in any circumstances that's okay for people to think this or that cant be said because someone is white, or black, or yellow, or green, or blue. In the same manner that I'm never gonna think it's okay to assume a person of any color is a thug, or criminal, or what have you due to being whatever color that is. That entire idea does not 1 thing to promote the unity people of all cultures and colors have worked so hard for. It only creates more division. Done with you sir. Good day

I mean basically by that logic(considering at the moment we don't know the context) every preacher on the south who has ever read those verses with a person of color in the worship hall is guilty of racism and ignorance and should be fired.
