Well. Does being snubbed a lil and sent out west give this team the Chip it's gonna take to win it all? It's a tough bracket but they can beat anyone. Energized and intense defensive mindset. Everything else works if they start there
Overall. Such an odd tournament. With how tight the league was all season I expected a lot closer games. Most of the games ended up being blowouts.

@bskeet anything can happen once you pop the lid off the "if" bucket. Shots were short for one team, guys didn't jump as high, for one team. Rebounds didn't happen for one team... You're absolutely right. This game doesn't matter "if". But I see patterns and I don't see 6 games where this doesn't happen again. And it's okay. Sometimes you just aren't that good. So are 341 other teams.

We may be all needing to temper expectations and say that winning the league outright was actually impressive for this crew. I think they are so fun to watch when they are energized. I think we're just not very good 3 nights out of 5. And have relied upon other teams injury's, scheduling favorabilitys, home court advantage, etc. Sweet 16 is the ceiling if everything goes right. I fuckin absolutely hate it when they yammer all season about how ungodly the league is. Its a very low percentage of times that actually works out. You heard it here first folks... Big12 will have maybe 2 teams left after the first weekend
