@approxinfinity Less than 5% chance he has a good or great game. Has Elmarko had one yet? I’m hoping, maybe just as crazy, that Furphy puts together an entire game. Unfortunately it’s something that also isn’t very likely.
- need KJ to do KJ things - I think that will happen
- need Hunter to score and rebound - should happen, but he also needs to guard better - less likely
- need Harris to steady the team - check and look for his shot - less likely
- need Timberlake to knock down shots - probably will happen, and not get lost on defense - 🫣 or over aggressive on offense.
- need Parker to give Hunter a solid blow - 50/50
- need Elmarko to play under control - 60/40 it’ll happen.
- need Furphy to play an entire game at a high level - 20/80 he does.
If the right combo of things get checked ku wins - but if Gonzaga gets hot from three it’ll look not so great for the good guys. Let’s see who’s tuned up to play today! This is very winnable

What are your thoughts on why Roy Williams was able to win 3 championships at UNC and none at KU? Was/is it harder to get recruits? Has the seeding been unfavorable? Did he get better at coaching? Was the ACC significantly better than the Big12 as to better prepare teams?
Recently the Big12 has been much more competitive with 2 championships in 3 years and a 3rd possible this season. Did the level of competition drag KU down during the Williams era, was it his recruiting style (all his classes hinged on one player signing first) or is there some other underlying issue he was able to right on Chappell Hill?
It seems there are some roadblocks at Kansas that aren’t experienced at UNC, I’m just not sure what the biggest hurdle is.
@FarmerJayhawk Gotta wonder if the Chargers are snake bit or if it’s the players. Mike Williams and Keenan Allen are both studs, but always seemed injured, same on the defensive side of the ball.
At least one injury I can 100% pin on the staff is giving their starting quarterback an injection that accidentally punctured his lung and prematurely ended Tyrod’s time in LA.

All these “terrible” players that some are ready to kick to the curb for leading KU to one of its most disappointing seasons in recent memory also beat 3 of the projected 1 seeds in the NCAA tournament. As in this horrible no good team has beaten almost all the top teams, what does that say about ncaa basketball?
