Well I just watched an interview with Trae and his dad Ray last night on the Oklahoma Ford sports Blitz with Dean Belivns & John Holcomb - - was like a 10 minute interview , - -not a lot from it other then him saying again how he was going to announce his commitment day some time this week & being down to three schools but he said he wasn't going to say who they were.

The only thing I hear really of anything at al, they asked Trae what would be some of the things that make a huge impact on his school he announced to. - -Trae said one would be the relationship with the Coach , said with him being a point guard was going to be relating to the Coach a lot - -and the other he said he would be looking at past players that was playing that position - - point and looking how they developed while at the school he chooses. - - We will see - I just hope all the negative pub being thrown out now hinders our recruitment with his mom wanting him to stay close to home.

@HighEliteMajor I agree and when I heard Coach say that, and then shortly after that, the Douglas County District Attorney comes out and says they have a pending drug case but yet doesn't name the person of interest but yet BAM Bragg is then suspended - -just seemed ya kind of all fits is what I thought, I dunno just a really bad situation for Carlton - we all make mistakes God knows I have, just sometime they are very costly for the individual. @BeddieKU23 I agree wit you 100% for sure. hey I don't hate the guy, - he is/was/is a very likeable kid but like you say he has just made some bad choices that's all, and along with those bad choices comes bad results - -sometimes you make bad decisions, you have to be held accountable for those decisions - -that's how we learn, that's what I've always told my kids -young kids are going to do what they want to do - whether it's good or bad they feel they know - -so I've let them do, and if it turns out bad - then they have to learn, that's the only way they will learn good or bad -- it's to bad but it does happen.

Personally my thinking is -Bragg is finished at KU, I said at the time it was just to hand in hand at the time. -- just about the time the Douglas County came out and said they had a Drug case pending and " THE SUSPECT " had been notified for the court date, BUT didn't name the person & right about the same time is when Bragg got suspended, ummm ya I thought uh huh to co-incidental.
I just think he has already been suspended once and now is suspended again- -and now being charged with this, I think it just all adds up that whe it's all said and done - he will be dismissed - but that's just me and let me just say everyone has a right to their opinion and this is mine. - -So now I'll wait.

Well now have read an article stating that this is NOT the first encounter with Bragg and Law Enforcement this year. - There is a story that's has came out now, stating that On Sept 16th there was a report of a Battery on an 19 yr old female, and her boyfriend. This took place around 3:30 in the morning at McCarthy hall, the boyfriend closed the woman's arm in a door causing bruising. The police referred the case to the Douglas County District Attorney for prosecution - - -charges were not filed but boyfriend was confimed to be Carlton Bragg. Assistant district attorney, Cheryl Wright said there was insufficient evidence to be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. They DID say that this woman was a different woman then Soofi when he was arrested on Dec 9th, this case on Sept 16th was a different woman - -Not Soofi - - just some FYI - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@mayjay Well let me try and re-adjust re-focus it's just that there are SOME on here that seem they have issues with me and the only thing I have to say to that is if you don't like the things I have to say or you want to constantly so sweetly always bring out about my punctuation and or any misspellings , if you never have anything positive to say yourself - -not you mayjay but you know what I mean - -if you don't then the simple solution to all of it would be - -just don't respond. I'm not sure but I would be willing to bet EVERY single person here has faults - -whether it be terrible spelling, punctuation or bad manners or quick tempers, I don't claim to be perfect in area's but THIS I know I do not need to be reminded every time I turn around about my spelling or other grammer problems. I know people here ARE intelligent enough to be able to read - -to understand what I' saying - but yet still feel the need for some reason to enlighten me about the mistakes I've made.

The insults as you say, true enough - but the thing that bothers me is people here and ITS ALOT of people only want to hear positive - they don't think it's possible or want to believe that we are above anything negative at KU whether it be the team not playing well that maybe that there are other teams that MIGHT JUST BE BETTER, they come across that, - -that's just not possible - - and if we lose always all kinds of excuses as to why we lost then actually the real reason as to why we lost- -countless countless times have we heard OH those refs if it wasn't for those refs. Then when I post my opinion then it's on, people always trying to make excuses for why we lost other then THE REAL REASON why - a lot of times when it boils down to is we just got outplayed for that game.

Most people on here, in here are really cool, have some awesome discussions - but for the others all I can say is if you know your going to disagree or feel the need to personally attack me make sure to throw up points about my grammer then all I can say is plain and simple just don't comment - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I dunno, maybe this isn't quite as bad as what I thought. -- I mean like some other people I have spoken with, actually what was Carlton bringing to the floor other then spelling Landen for spot minutes and bringing 5 extra fouls to the 5 spot. - - I mean it isn't like he was putting up huge offensive numbers or huge rebounding numbers, mainly at the present he was just replacing Landen when he was in foul trouble or giving Landen some few minutes of rest.

In that aspect, Mitch can do that or the combination of Mitch & Dwight. The 5 spot is and area really is or hasn't been an area where were getting a lot of production from anyways this year. - Just looking for like 6-7-8 points out of that spot and some rebounds - If we can get those kind of points and production out of the combination - if Dwight can even combine for the 6 pts and 5 rebs that Bragg was giving us then we are no worse off -- I don't think we would be that worse off defensively , so they MAY off set.

I mean if this would of been Frank, or Devonte, or Josh or even SVI then that for sure would of been an absolute disaster, seeing as they are the offensive weapons, but with Carlton if you think about it on the offensive side really not that big of drop because we still have the extra fouls and I know between Mitch and Dwight they can get 6-7 points and 5-6 rebounds

Who knows, may be a blessing in disguise also yes we may just start having to play a little more zone to protect Landen -- -BUT in a way might not be a bad thing, might be a good thing - -might help cover up our re-occurring defensive lapse off getting beat off the dribble drive, straight line drives to the hole with no help. Might make some of thse NOT SO good 3 pt shooting teams in the league take more three point attempts from the outside keep them out of the lane - -we shall see I reckon. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
