I feel Kentucky is not really as big of concern as before, again nothing really substantial to base that off of either- -well other then the fact of who they already signed plus they still want this other kid as an off guard type player I believe.

Just feel also like the more Oklahoma loses this year helps us that much more, he would be a nice addition, no question he can score, the only thing I wonder is in College will he be able to get that same shot off against more quality opposition, kind of a low weird looking shot. hope we land him. -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BAY

@stoptheflop Wiggins was really good, had no problems with him BUT having said that - - Josh is I think by far a more complete player. Scores , Rebounds, his defense is much improves, can really get after it - - not picking up the fouls nearly as fast, and not afraid to dive to the floor for the loose ball. He just has the look and or the approach he will do whatever it takes to help this team the one year he will be here. So many OAD'S just kind of glide through and yes they do take some time off more so on the defensive end then the offensive, but Josh is one of the few where he seems like always more then ready to learn.

Good morning my friends. Well just read where there is a 4 star safety out of New Orleans, from the school of McDonogh 35 has listed KU as one of his six finalists.

He is a 6ft 194 pound safety that was rated as the 19th best safety in the country according to rivals.com, his six finalists are Flordia, USC, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, Oklahoma and KU. - - He has eliminated Alabama, LSU, and Nebraska along with others.
He said he has been recruited by Tony Hull who recruits New Orleans and said he could come to KU and help turn the program around. - -He had even went as far as talking about possibly making a verbal commitment but has back off that a bit and said going to wait until spring signing.

Now I realize this is just wishful thinking, but hey it's getting close to Christmas doesn't hurt to wish right? You know funny you brought up the Yankee's reference - -seeing as how I'm a HUGE Yankees fan - -always have been - -always will be - -BUT used to live in a very small rural town in south Central Kansas, about 15 miles north east of Wichita, the town was named Benton. Ralph use to play for the team called I believe Red stockings or something like that - -he actually if you can believe it or not won the pinch hitter of the year in the minor leagues it was crazy. He had pic of all the big time players, had his old mitt, his old uniform,. used to hang out with Phil R, Pee Wee Reese, Gehrig, Ruth told me stories, I could listen to him for hours - -look at all the memorabilia.

His wife would always tell me get Ralph to tell you about some of the times they would go out crazy - -as you know the Babe was quite the partier. Ralph had one of the very last balls the Babe actually personally autographed. Now here is mine - just my opinion and we know my opinion is pure gold right? lol. Ok the player I felt like that really NEVER got the full credit that he was due? Was back with Michael Jordan. - Played with Jordan - - His name? - -glad you asked, his name is Scottie Pippen. I absolutely loved this guy, never got the credit he deserved in my opinion. Ya, Ya, I know Jordan was all that, he was mr world, and all that I get that, and not did-respecting Michael but Scottie - -ya he was everything, what ever you wanted he got it done. Wee all know Micheal was a scoring machine I get that - - But Scottie was a lot more, he scored, and scored well, get multiple rebounds, key rebounds, play the defense which is a rareity in the N.B.A except in play off time do it all - - yet you really never heard that much about Scottie, it was always Michael, Michael, Michael but as far as a COMPLETE ALL AROUND PLAYER I take Scottie, and it wasn't just a one game thing, he was like this game, after game, year after year.

I think this is a very smart move, maybe the people that has pull has finally seen the light. - -that progress is being made. You can't keep firing coaches every two years and get any kind of continuity, on top of that players have a tendency to stay clear if not knowing if the Coach that recruited you is going to be there 2 yrs from now.

Maybe they are starting to get it, we get that QB and improvement on the offensive line, keep steady improvement with the recruiting looking better, like has been said yes we were more competitive , add some depth, our defense is right there, not that far off from being a really good defense - -just need the improvement on the offense - -makes me feel good tonight - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
