But I watched a lot of the Kentucky Game today,& a lot of North Carolina - - and I'm not that impressed with either, I mean sure they have really good teams, BUT having said that, was still not impressed - - I mean Kentucky loaded with all these OAD'S Carolina suppose to be all that.

Kentucky today playing at Hofstra I mean ya they win by 26, but they should have and then some - -Hofstra was with them all the way to the end of the 1st half - -Kentucky looks very beatable - - -just have to avoid runs, but you can say that about a lot of teams, you allow a team to go on a big run then you battle up hill the rest of the game.

North Carolina, playing AT North Carolina against a 4-3 Tennessee team trailed the entire game right up until the last minute, of the game. - - -Sorry but just not that impressed, you have to manage the boards play them at least even on the boards, other then that - -very beatable, I wanted to see North Carolina today, and I saw enough not to lose sleep, I think we can compete with either one , if we play like we are capable then ya I'm not overly worried, ya they good - -BUT they not THAT GOOD, not like they head and shoulders above everybody else. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

People were already making comments, oh he should never be allowed to step on the floor again at Ku, he should be kicked off the team and yada, yada , yada. Said since Kentucky has signed Green and Alexander, that Meyer says he just doesn't see Young & Green playing on the same team. I've thought this also - -Meyer seems to believe that Trae will end up at KU well here is wishful thinking, would be great - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I have a question. How important is it really to have the # 1 ranking in the polls for us in the regular season? I mean what purpose does it serve? True maybe it's good to be in this spot later in the season, for seeding purposes in the NCAA'S - -but other then that, what purpose does it serve? - - how does it help us during the season other them what I mentioned? - -OH sure ya we as fans get to thump our chest, boast, what have you about being ranked # 1 but other then that - -does it benefit us/the team on the floor? That's about it as far as I can tell.

Having said that, I see and I'm not really pointing to our group BUT even other KU fans moan, whimper, bitch, if we are not, they thinking we are getting shafted some how? -- my question is WHY you getting your britches in a knot? I tell you what being ranked # 1 in the season WILL do: - - what it does is put even a bigger bulls eye on our chest for opponents - -gives them more motivation as if they need it when they play us. For a lot of these teams when they play against us, a lot of these teams don't make the NCAA'S . - -we are their NCAA game, how many teams circle their schedule against us as their game of the year, cause we have Kansas written on the uniform.

Being # 1 early in the year is not anything special other then for word of mouth purpose only, towards the end again for seeding - -great, but my words for some people DON'T TRIP it's all good I have yet to see any advantage where being ranked # 1 in the season helps us on the court. If anything it works against us. Another thing I believe I don't feel being ranked # 1 gives us an advantage as far as recruiting goes. As little as it may seem - -I think Landen & Bragg BOTH took steps forward today. Nothing huge, but I saw improvement. - -Ya Landen was in foul trouble, but tell me which of our big men wasn't. Now before some may jump to conclussions and think I'm trying to keep Udoka down - -umm no way I want that beast, BUT like has been said we need Landen and Bragg to really help us later this season. Like I said in another site, how quickly how some people want to jump on Landen saying he doesn't deserve the playing time - -EVEN ME to an extent. Just like last season look at the bashing he took and then later in the year, he was solid, very solid for us.

Same has been this year, people on him talking smack on him - -justified? - -I'm not here to debate that, what I'm saying is - -I saw improvement in both big men little as it was and yes only ONE game but Landen 8 pts & 7 rebounds not that far from where he was last year.

One is there NOT such a thing as being able to challenge a call in the tourney? - - I know multiple times during the season each team had 3 challenges , the announcers mentioned the Samford squad wanted a net or something like that I believe in set 1 - -BUT no challenge, well if you thought there was a violation especially in the NCAA tourney wouldn't you challenge if you could?
