I wear earplugs when I go. Made my kids wear them too. Sitting up in the rafters is absolutely deafening like you said. Gives me chills just thinking about the energy in that building. Just an amazing experience and a bucket list item for any sports fan. Heck, a bucket list item for anyone, period.
Been a life long KU fan including going through a stretch where not so good in Ted's era, there were times you could get your seat and then move down closer no problem - - pick your seat , but stuck through and through. - - Now the experience is insane love the atmosphere

Exactly buddy , like you said you can tell he " RESPECTS the phog ". - - I get chills when I hear people talk about their experience at the Phog. - -I've experienced the Phog , was fortunate to experience one of the KU & Kentucky games.- - My brother & I and I was trying to talk to him and him right next to me - - -you could forget it , there was no way I could hear him or him hear me - - left with a huge headache from all the yelling/noise loved it.. - - ESPN just talked with Jay Bilas on game day - -he loves the Phog calling it the Cathederal of College basketball, no better place to place a College Basketball game

This is pretty funny and has Kentucky fans about wetting themselves /crying .Cal trying to throw al kinds of wool BS before the game , saying TY TY Washington , Diamion Collins & Jacob Toppin none of these guys practiced yesterday and questionable for the game tomorrow.

Huh , just read an article on Jo Jo. Seems like he was playing the Pelicans the other day , and there was a foul between him and Pelican s Guard Garrett Temple-- the foul dropped Temple to the floor and this other Pelican Guard took acception to the foul - now remember Jo Jo is 7 ft and like 280 the article states and this guy was like just over 6 ft and 180 - -bumpin Jo Jo and taking not kindly to the foul.
Both got T'd up but Jo Jo said he didn't take exception saying this guard Jose Alvarado - liked his energy , Liked how hard he played , & liked how he wasn't backing down lol . Said he just told Alvarado to keep playing hard as Alvardado was o a 10 day contract - -but update he got signed - -Bottom line Jo Jo paid Alvarado's fine for the T that Jose got. Hey Jay! I’ve got an answer. The limit spends on how many players you have on scholarship. The limit there is 85. The total roster limit is 105. So if you’re full, you’ll have 85 scholarship, 20 walk-on. If you have 75 scholarship, you can have 30 walk-on. We’re going to be VERY close, if not right at 85 so probably no more than 20 walk-ons.

I'm not referring to this year specifically. Louisville has the same number of Final Four appearances as Auburn has NCAA tournament appearances. Louisville has 3 national titles to Auburn's 1 Final Four that came under Pearl. Louisville is also committed long term to basketball whereas basketball is an afterthought at Auburn. Louisville is a top 10 all time program and you're really going to try and argue Auburn that Auburn is an equal overall job? Sorry, but the two programs are not comparable to each other.
Sorry disagree. Auburn was more of a football program in the past - -not so much in the present day. Your final 4 appearances are something of the past. We are talking present and future. Bruce Pearl has brought the Auburn program up to the level where there IS interest in the Basketball program as evidenecd by the Auburn Kentucky game last Saturday - - insane atmosphere have one of the more talented players in the Nation in Jabari Smith. They are just not a football school anymore. In years past Maybe but not now. Yet it's ok to have varying opinion you think how you like it's fine. All I'm saying is in todays present and future Auburn is no dog have improve quite a bit and NOW at this point if not equal they are right there and I think now today - -lateral move
