Oh ya - -time to strap it up. I think Coach has already has made big strides with the new comers we got coming. Think we have the chance to be pretty dam Salty again next year, love the make up of this team.
Plus with Roy retiring I just think it just kind of takes NC out of the picture or at least not as much of a factor for Aidoo might be enough to sway him to come here, love his wing span - we finished 2nd in his recruitment the 1st time - - hopefully better this time

I hope Jalen is in the long term plans, don't have to be an above the rim player to be effective, ahem Perry ahem. He had some games early on where he looked like he could be a one and done. He still has a lot of eligibility left and plenty of room to continue to develop.

Could be a total overhaul. Don't rule out Ochai going pro and Jalen going...somewhere else.
I just think Ochai is way to inconsistent . - -he wouldn't land anywhere right now, lots of work to do on multiple things , BALL HANDLING taking better care of the ball , rebounding the ball better , more consistency in his shot - -just think he is - - -not ready by a bit

I think it's a lot of what's been mentioned , a series of things , off shooting night which led to a start of losing confidence in his shot , putting added pressure on his self . - -Got to a point where Christian wouldn't even look for his shot period, seemed like a case of hot patato soon as the ball touched his hands - -it was like BAM he couldn't get rid of it fast enough. For sure there were times he wasn't much help on the offensive end. Thing was this year who you replace him with Thompson ? -not sure that was an upgrade for this past year - -Thompson got an ugly shot as of now for sure his 3 point shot is real ugly -TGF - - lol , no don't think so - -hopefully he can get that confidence back.
Didn't really know where to put this but anyways - - Should know more on Chris Beard tomorrow , according to Texas Boards - - Beard is meeting with Kirby Holcut today. - - I think he stays at Tech, But Longhorns got some pretty deep pockets

Umm, Dam kid has some stroke. Not a lot of vertical but yet in the KU system, if we work the ball and he gets a clean look man looks like he drains 3's. Big boy would be hard to root him out if he gets set uses the foot work establishes position. - -I think I like it. OK , I know in reality this sounds , & actually is probably crazy & also in reality not a chance in hell but mercy the more I hear from some talking and watching and listening to his interview - -I really like Emmit Jones. Ya I know he has no head Coaching experience , so I myself wonder why I wouldn't mind giving the guy his shot. Some have said having him even for the year will cost us another year of recruiting - -please tell me that is ?
Jones has proven he really recruits & recruits well. - -He obviously would continue to do that. The way I look at giving hi his shot : His recruiting ability , Already has a very well established relationship with the players, you wouldn't be disrupting the current roster , would be familer without players having to start all over yet AGAIN. - -Current staff in place wouldn't have to find a bunch of new Coach's - -AGAIN. Think he would be able to retain 90-95 % of the current roster , how many leaves when a new Coach is brought in - which just sits us back yet- - -AGAIN
Like I said in reality I understand , realize this is not going to happen and it won't kill me if it doesn't BUT the more I hear this guy speak , I can for sure understand why players back this guy , hell even some of the incoming class that hasn't played a snap for this guy supports him - -would like to see him get his shot. - - At least don't turn him lose for this coming year , let him run the team this year hell who knows might surprise us. - - I'm a big Leipold guy also but he has started his spring ball and very well could be hesistant about leaving right now. - -Anyways Jones wouldn't be the worst choice at this present moment. just blowing hot air I know, just random thoughts

ya I thought pretty much the same myself. -Kind of caught me off guard , but almost like a non chalant type approach. A lot of them really aren't that impressed with Adoo or think he would be specifically a back up to Bacot. - Said play maybe 12-14 minutes in a backup role.- -Well hell he could get that here behind McCormack , lot of them look at him as a project - -some just really aren't that interested unless he would be an impact player. - -Gonna stick with my " I GOT A DREAM " until the fat lady sings on this kid, him and Pettiford are friends so maybe he can convince him come lol

If we could get another scholi to open - - which I think is a done deal then here is what I 'd love to see. - - Pettiford - - - Ty Ty - & Adoo would be pretty dam good additions.

BTW: Kudos to Drew! We've watched him get out-coached for years. But the guy has worked hard and paid his dues. I believe he remained humble and fought to become a better coach and it worked. There is no way Baylor is this good this year without a coach who put it all together. I hope he continues to bring tough teams because the Big 12 benefits, including Kansas!
I'm excited to see that Houston - Baylor game. On paper, Baylor should win this game (and I think they will)... but hard to count out Houston. Sampson is tricky and his guys play tricky, too. I'm hoping for a wild game!
