I don't think @Texas-Hawk-10 is writing anyone off. Just saying having someone who has produced at the FBS level so we don't have to rely on 3 true freshmen, which who knows what you'll get, is good.

Because he's immediately eligible and last year had a better QB rating than any KU QB since Todd Reesing in 2008
Welll alrighty then, that's different. Just looking at his stats just didn't blow me away but knowing this sounds better - just seeing 14/5 was thinking ehhh. - You think with is you think it might make a difference with our to incoming FR ?lots of competition

I think your spot on - -all counts. -- On top of that I think if they reach out to Rick and he shows ANY interest about the job - - it being Texas I would think they have some pretty deep pockets to make it an attractive offer. Well read this from another site. - I'm not saying but just asking , makes SOME sense. Person said and makes me wonder possibly with these new Coaching openings here at Oklahoma & Texas you think either of these Schools would ever probe Rick Pitino at Iona to come be their next Coach ? - - - Just asking guys ? I know he had problems at Louisville & not saying I'd be in favor BUT I think one thing he does add is some really quality and Name to the League - -pretty decent Coach. - -He said he was perfectly happy at Iona but if he was given the opportunity to come to a major P-5 program do you think either of these schools would try and make contact - - get a read/feel of what he thinks? you think Rick would be interested - - just curious guys
