I kind of understand that of course in some respects but this team has earned some respect this season, don't you think? And no self respecting football team should ever feel good about being invited to the Pop Tart Bowl.

I for sure understand what your saying, however as I have seen most of these bowls are now tied into certain Conferences so that dictates a lot of the projections

Personally, I leave Bean in until he's hurt or can't get the job done. We're 7-2. Kind of in a groove. Daniels is an excellent QB when he's healthy. But he hasn't been healthy in a long time and he HAS to be rusty.

Been seeing this question debated back and forth. I mean I can kinda see both sides , the Question is say JD6 - -was good to go this weekend, does he come back and Automatically get the start ? - -Or does Jason continue to run the show ? - - Have been hearing maybe Jason starts then they run JD6 in -- maybe play both like they do down the road.

I've heard argument for both sides - -Both can run although Jason better runner, JD6 throws better, and yet Jason does pretty ell too. Just wondering your thoughts.

A little more bit of Info - -just FYI - - Jason is ranked 20th in the Country for total QBR-- & ranked 3rd in the Big 12 behind Gabriel & Ewers . has raised his level. - -Heard reason for him to remain as starter is that he has lea KU to this record for pretty much 75 % of Season - - -you tell me what ou think ?

Easy to say this but at the end of the day OSU won all those games (the one against KSU too). They are not a bad team and their RB is ridiculously good now.

there running back is insane. If Oklahoma State was a little better overall , more wins - --he would of been a vey serious contender for the Heisman

I realize doesn't mean much bowl wise but just found this interesting & shows how far we have come. - We know this is the 1st yr that we have been ranked towards the end of the year as far as

College Football playoff picture BUT ---just weird to see us ahead of some of these schools in the projected rankings.

They have us at # 17 this week , in the rankings--- -- -We are ahead of - -LSU - - -# 18 - -OKLAHOMA - -# 19 - -& ---NORTE dAME -# 21 - -just looks weird but I love it

The last one I seen was KU in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl against Maryland on the 26th of Dcember

Until we prove we can hit the outside jumper and or 3 point shot , we could very easily have trouble scoring a lot of points. Your going to see a lot of double downs on Hunter, yes he is a good passer they say, but if we can't hit the jumper it won't matter..

Want to see more of Furphy , shows promise - right now till I see us hit some J's like I said it's going to be harder for Hunter. - -Anyways I'll say KU 78 - -The other guys 60

I love going from some KU sites, opposition sites - -but the funny or at least just a little bit is from TOS for KU - -it's good conversation but just goes to show how far this team has come and peoples thinking/logic I guess.

Think about this like what 2 - -2 1/2 years ago we were the kicking can of everybody - -if a team needed a win or to rest some key players after the 1st quarter , just play KU. Give them a chance to work on to work on some plays, give their 2nd , 3rd string guys some reps. Then enter Coach Lance Leipold & Co.

Now , no longer are we that can, that whipping post. - Now what this team is or has is a can of WHUP ASS/PAYBACK. - -Are we all the way back ?- - of course not, but were sure the hell on our way riding the elevator- we aren't a given W for NO ONE.

Now here is what I found a little funny , but in a good way : Ok 2 - -2 1/2 years ago we were happy if we could somehow find a win and not go winless, if we were lucky MAYBE 2 wins. - -So Lance shows up and we managed that. Then last year of all things we won what 6 games ? - -Holy smokes , what's going on ? - -So then we start making predictions about this year , some were feeling a little frisky - - a little bold , thumping our KU chest saying we could get may 6 wins and a bowl - -the more boastful one's saying why can't we get 7 , might be a stretch but maybe.

Now here we are at 7 and some people INCLUDING myself think 8-9 is obtainable. - -Yet here is what I find just a little funny, only because how far this team has come.

So we have gotten ranked at 3 different times this year, I mean how long has it been since that happened ? - -who would of ever thought 2 1/2 years ago that this program would even try and mention such a thing

Now today we are ranked even higher & this is what I find funny now we have fans hollering about what this team or that team is ranked higher then us lol - -saying like Oklahoma, Norte Dame teams that are higher that we should be higher ranked then they are lol. - It's cool I men but just to think 2 1/2 years ago were the kicking can , AND NOW were complaining about other teams being ranked higher then where we should be in the polls. - -THAT my friends is called progress. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG

Same... But that's at least a scenario that Kansas can get in with Texas only losing one time. If Ewers isn't playing Texas might have trouble scoring on Iowa St, who does have a good defense.

Just had to strap it up. Hardly anyone was giving us a chance to win. I actually thought we had a decent chance -BUT I also thought we would be able to run the ball.- -Jason Bean needs a little love, nothing fancy , spectular, just solid tonight

Have a chance for a really good Season. I think 9 wins is for sure withing our reach.- - K/State is going to be hard , but Texas Tech & Cincinnati very otainable.

Just checked box score. Oubre had 25, Joel 28, averaging 30, a double double machine and dishing 7 times a game. It'd be fun to watch the Sixers play in the finals next spring.

Really great time to be a fan of KU sports right now. - - -KU women Volleyball just Swept KSU today to move their Season record to 18 - -4- & ( 9 -3 ) - -& ranked 14th in the Nation.

Our football team is 6 -2 on the year and 21 st in the Nation - - -- Our Basketball men's team is ranked # 1 in the Nation - & KU women's team expected to be really good coming of their NIT championship from last year. - -Ahh yes life is good - - -ROCK CHALK

Did anyone see the ref hand the Texas receiver the KY jelly on that pass play late is the 1st half ?- -Cause Texas flat ass got major league screwed. That was the most blatent PI on the K/State back ever. - K/State should not even be on the board..

Texas should be up 24-0 if not more, it's not anything to do with K/State stopping them but Texas stopping themselves

our KU ladies Volley had their hands full tonight against K/State.- Jumped out to a 2-0 set lead, K/State came back won the next two sets -took it to the 5th set - -but the Ladies was able to hold of winning the 5th set 15-12 - -The win takes their record to 17-4 & I believe now 9-3 in Conference -- -they run it back tomorrow at 3

On a down side -one of KU main players Regan Cooper was injured late not sure how bad but didn't look good , keeping fingers crossed- - Good job Ladies - - -ROCK CHALK

Let's see , Early signing is on the 15th of Dec isn't it ? - -Our 2024 class is really soid , got some really quality kids. Hope some of these other top notch schools don't try to sweep in a take some of our best. - -Warner is a must
