There is a lot of talk that the Big twelve /Brett Yormark as it says are in Serious - - -High Level talks wit Gonzaga about joining the Big 12 s early as the 24/25 Season. - -This would not be just Basketball only, they would be a member in other sports in the conference like they would be in Baseball , Womens Soccer , Volleyball , and both Men & Womens Tennis.
They are reporting that Yormark met in separate sessions with the Big 12 Presidents & AD'S. - Decision could come as quick as within a couple of weeks. A key concept is that Gonzaga could be willing to accept less revenue to at outset of joining the Big 12 similar to SMU joining the ACC.
Yormark has been given the go ahead from League Presidents for discussions with Gonzaga , Yes at one point Yormark had said the big 12 was done, BUT with the looks with the way things seem too be going on realignment it says the Big 12 has decided to take a look at adding Gonzaga again , with serious intensified talks.
Yormark WANTS GONZAGA , a he still wants to pursue a totally separate deal breaking Basketball off from the football saying Basketball is undervalued , so when the present deal expires in 2031 he wants to have a totally separate deal for Basketball.

I was worried more I'll admit when I see Plumlee coming back to start against us vs Bean - -you might know they get their starting QB back and we lose ours BUT seen a stat comparison and when it's all said and done Bean/Plumlee pretty much a wash. - Both completing about 64 % of their passes - -Plumlee runs the ball for a little more average like - - 68 yds per to Jason's 43 - the one thing I noticed looks like Plumlee a little more careless with the ball when throwing - -His INT ratio is quite a bit higher then Jason
They talked about how UCF'S secondary are undersized like I think 6 ft and like 205 - - -210 - even the D-Line not that big. UCF has problems against the run. - -So KU needs to run , run , run With Devin , Daniel & McDuffie until they prove they can stop it. - -They do have a couple of pretty good DB'S so probably not challenge them a lot.
KU'S problem with UCF is they are quick/fast , really good speed. - -Important we can string out plays - -get some TFL'S- It said they like to attack slow linebackers -which don't really think our line backer's are that slow. Yet they like to throw intermediate route pass's - Another wash is Plumlee pass attempts average I think was 7.9 yds per - -Jason is actually a little better - like right about 9.

I've had four Back operations . I have spacers on both sides of my body I've had my back fused -I've had a bone from sterile cadabor -I know not spelled right, I have titanium screws in my spine - so I got a pretty good idea with back injuries. We have just got to get some kind of running game from the get go. We don't want to be one dimensional where that D-Line can just tee off. Think they said KU averages like 5.4 per BUT Texas is only giving up 2.7 per. - -That's going to determine a lot about today, that and the Secondary holding up against their receivers. They have a lot of talent, their Tight En has had like 3 straight 100 yard games receiving

Conference-new Road Foe's; UCF and Houston (to end season). New Home Foe's; Cincinnati, BYU, Houston.
Play home/away- Kansas St, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Baylor, Houston.
Play only once on the road- West Virginia, Texas Tech, Iowa St.

ya I'm with you , I'm worried about depth. Especially towards the middle/end of the Season. We know these games almost everyone is a dam war
Keep your fingers crossed no injuries, I personally don't think we can afford to red shirt anybody this year -- - Morris has seen to that, gonna be interesting
