Ok my friends , I know we have talked to some degree at Various times about Silvio just wanted to touch base, Bottom line do you think Silvio plays for us this year?
I just listened to the podcast and it just seems more and more like the possibility of him playing/ being eligible is seeming more likely. They have interview Coach Self the assistants and of Course his Guardian & then Silvio himself and they all say or seem to insinuate that they are going forward as if he will be eligible without retribution .
The hosts on the podcasts actually brought up some good points. They said that KU more likely then not knows that this is not going to be settled before the Season starts , saying it could be 1 yr - -2 yrs - - hell it could be even 3 yrs before this is settled , they said there are Sooooo many schools that are names or mentioned in this.
Their point being was this will the NCAA go back and make retro-active penalities/sanctions after this period of time? - -probably not - - like they said with as many schools that have been mentioned in some form or another the likely scenario that plays out will be - -listen we just do not have the time or means or man power to go through all these schools, like they said probably more likely will end up being OK now these are the rules a slap on the hand and move on from there- -they just don't have the time to look at all the schools involved and decide the penalities if any need applied.
Other interesting takes from the podcast. Saying they think people are really under estimating Charlie Moore , they feel he will be the starter pointed out his bull dog attitude willing to take on all challengers talking about how at the scrimmage he missed his first four shots then promptly went 10-11 and draining all those 3's
Another interesting thing brought out - -that this will be the 1st year in 12 years that KU will start a pg that has never played a single minute for KU
Something else on Silvio was talking about how we might very easily see him at some point see him starting - -possibly as motivation for Doke to improve his rebounding. Said Silvio is a better rebounder and they really want Doke to improve saying that for really as KU'S only big last year he should of had better rebounding numbers. - -Sayin that Silvio is a better all around player - - -more polished player , they brought up two games for Silvio on how hew stood out - in the Big 12 tourney against Oklahoma St and then the Duke game going against two NBA future players and how well he had done, so saying they might say to Doke like they have in the past put some fire in his gut ok you Sit - -Silvio your up - - pretty interesting. - They talked about how built Silviio is -already has a NBA body - -solid - - really solid of course we already knew that. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
