I think it’s been that way in-terms of hype up game since 2006 IMO. Some games you tell when we come out BS told the guys let’s see what happens. Almost feel like Tuesday was that way for most it.

5 years I think is the max. I think coming into last year he wanted to win another title (most by a KU coach) , pass Phog in wins (most in Ku history) and see the end of the investigation with KU being in good shape. He already got another title, will for sure pass Phog in wins next season. I think he wants to be the best coach in kansas basketball history. I think he is already there IMO. Don’t take that the wrong way because Phog is impassable in terms of what he did to the game. Modernized it, was a key person in getting it to the Olympics and the national tournament we are looking forward to this month. There will only be one father of modern basketball til the end of time.
@BShark I agree on seeing the bracket. Last year the only team that scared me in our bracket was Auburn and they got bounced early. This year there is a lot of big names and talent on that 8/9 line. Self has said the last few years a lot it comes to taking marginal shots and making them. I 100 agree with that, it really comes down to shooting and a good point guard play. We survived last season without good rebounding numbers, will need to do the same this year. Juan can and will take us somewhere but we need bench production and guys to hit shots to go anywhere.

@jayballer67 I don’t think he had possession of the ball at that point. He was fouled to begin with so if he did both got a break on a call.

@Kcmatt7 if I’m not mistaken DG was here at the same time just before CF left early in the year. I think CF just wanted to play. He would’ve had a great career here had he waited to develop.
It’s always hard to tell going from Highschool to college. We had several guys that shot the lights out in the smaller highschool gyms and showed up struggling. Go watch Frankamp or Downs highschool tape and they look like Curry.

Gradey Dick needs just 8 more 3 pointers to tie Jeff Boschee’s freshman record of 79 that he set in 1999. He currently sets 4th behind JR Giddens (74) 2004 freshman season and Ben McLemore’s (73) 2013 freshman season. It’s been pretty impressive to watch Gradey get shots knowing most teams are going to face guard him. He is much better than what I thought he’d be this season. Thought we were getting another Braun, which would be great too, just didn’t expect him to be a better shooter right outta the gates. Way to go young fella!

@BeddieKU23 Shocker he’s a Bama grad smh. People I’ve talked to that lived in that area for a few years always said Saban was a mafia boss and he had more power than anyone in that state or so it seemed. Different sport obviously, @stoptheflop I’m not going to assume just because he’s prosecutor that’s he’s a good one or a good person for that matter. I certainly hope he is but starting to lean the other way the more info that comes out.
