We knew it would be ugly without Dot. Doesn’t matter as long as we win. Maybe it will become helpful so Dot doesn’t have to play 36 minutes every game.

@Goose88 we definitely don’t have the staff of major college football programs. If you watched Miles to go on ESPN, they discuss how they basically had one guy watching highlight films for recruiting.

We’ll be fine without him in this one, interesting that they wait this long to announce.

I agree with Dan, this team doesn’t produce a ton of highlight reel plays, the pace is slow and offense gets the fans on their feet, something this team struggles with.

@BShark Yep, we need to start Braun tonight and shoot more 3s instead of forcing entry passes to a doubled Doke. We only shot 15 3s Saturday and 8 was Moss who forced most of the second half. I’d take my chances of a 3 going in over 20 plus turnovers. Ochai must be aggressive like he was vs ISU. He can’t be passive, we need his offense.

@mayjay that’s kinda my issue with the multiple slaps on the wrist and more than chances than an average Joe would get. Maybe if he actually got in trouble for his ways he’d change them.

I highly doubt they would sent him back out in a 12 point game if they believed it to be serious.

@approxinfinity I loved it, also scary how much I gave in common with the joker. Phoenix is one of my favorite actors. Gladiator and Walk the Line are great movies.

Part of me feels sad for this situation but half of me is pissed. I had to work my a** off to be an average player and someone with a fair share of god given talent pisses it all away. A privilege people seldom talk about is one that good athletes can get 3, 4 or even 5 chances while several are lucky to get a single one. Hopefully he checks himself somewhere to get some help.

@jayballer73 what do you want the fans to do to make noise? 99% of AFH is booing at multiple times during the game and before it. Anyone that says otherwise is ether mentally handicapped or liar.

@dylans it could work in our favor for sure and as I always say, we don’t want to be playing our best ball in December or January. I’m a little worried at the same time because Self seems so hard set in his ways.

I think we need to start Braun and lock the guards in the gym to work on their shots. Right now our offense will go as far as we are shooting from he outside. We will be fine against teams that don’t have the athleticism of Baylor but will struggle otherwise.

@jayballer73 every home team boos the opposing team, been that way at any sporting event I’ve been to from high school to NFL games. I have zero problem with it. I think there is a line you shouldn’t cross with insults but I enjoyed it so much as a player and coach going into rough environments. It was great shutting them up when we did.

@dylans I feel like it isn’t consistently as loud as it use to be. I go to at least one game a year. As I said I see more people during the game on cell phones. I don’t usually spend time on my phone unless its half time or I see something strange I’ll put it on here during a timeout to see if the TV caught it.

Outside of Doke the bigs have laughable against anyone decent. The 4-1 that we are currently running will not work with out consistent outside shooting. They pretty much had Doke surrounded from the get go, making it difficult to even get an entry pass in. This hurt the dribble drive of Garrett and Dot because even if they got around their man, there was 2 guys waiting in the lane. We have to run an offense that get Doke moving more and not just standing there. I’d scrap this offense if I was Self and find something else to run.

@Crimsonorblue22 I can post a picture of jayballer saying KU fans never boo college kids and Texas hawk said he too thought it was quieter. I respect you and do not wish to argue. I usually enjoy talking with you. That is all on the subject.
