Speaking of teeth or lack there of. Missouri did invent the toothbrush, because if it was invented anywhere else it would be a teethbrush.

Border War Renewed • Oct 26, 2019 03:53 AM

I've been thinking about this more and more since its been announced......Yep still love the idea. I hope football joins, I miss the intense games. The KSU rivalry isn't really a rivalry. KSU has won like 90% of the football games since 1990 and KU has done the same in Basketball. That and being in state, it's like beating our little brother when he gets cocky. My hatred for Fizzou goes far beyond athletics. The worst place I've ever been in this country is Springfield, Missouri or Columbia, Missouri. Abouslutely zero diversity, zero teeth, an abundance of meth and incest. Sadly that isn't an exaggeration.

All BS aside I'd be shocked if the Hornets won 20 games this year.

Kstate Exhibition • Oct 26, 2019 03:45 AM

You'd have to glue my eyes open to get me to watch a jacka** festival such as KSU exhibition basketball.

O' Chubby Ankles • Oct 26, 2019 03:42 AM

@BShark I'd like to see the number of that 10% that are KU guys. I bet it's super high.

Dam Devonte G - - -nice start my man • Oct 25, 2019 03:33 AM

@jhawk7782 You know what, you're right. The late great JoJo White is one the most overlooked KU players. But easily one of the best to dawn a Kansas Jersey. Thank god for old YouTube game clips.

Fort Hays Game Thread • Oct 25, 2019 02:29 AM

I think we saw some good stuff tonight and some bad as per usual in the first exhibition. The freshman are obviously super green but boy they ain't afraid to shoot lol. I'd really hope we see Moss next week so we can see what he has. I still think a 4 guard line up is the best way to win basketball games. 90% of the teams we will play, will have a shooting big. The two post is fine for stretches but isnt something that I think will work a ton. Just like the RPO and air raid style that people claimed wouldnt work in the NFL. Now most teams are running it and scoring is up big time. Same could he said about shooting bigs in the NBA. There is a reason people aren't running Dean Smith's 4 corners anymore. Hopefully Self sees this and remembers the success of 4 good guards in 16, 17 and 18. I personally am for a Dotson, Garrett, Ochai, Moss and Doke line up. I know people dislike Garrett offensively but if can hit 30+% of his 3s, he'll be great. Both he and Ochai were hands down the best players on the floor tonight, tough to see either not starting.

Fort Hays Game Thread • Oct 25, 2019 12:35 AM

Guys forgot we were actually playing a game tonight lol. Pretty sloppy as expected.

ESPN+ Series • Oct 24, 2019 06:04 PM

Man, Texas episode....right in the feels

O' Chubby Ankles • Oct 24, 2019 05:20 PM

@justanotherfan I agree to a certain extent but it seems like the college game is headed straight for a free agency kinda of system.

O' Chubby Ankles • Oct 24, 2019 05:17 PM

@BShark I hadn't that, good for him.

Dam Devonte G - - -nice start my man • Oct 24, 2019 05:16 PM

To be honest watching that game its very hard to see why Rozier is starting over DTG. Rozier has been all hype thus far in his career but DTG looked like the best player on the floor thru a few stretches last night. I realize both teams are in a rebuild and it was just one game but if he can continue to improve, no reason he can't be a regular at this level.

O' Chubby Ankles • Oct 24, 2019 02:30 AM

Its interesting that Charlie Moore wasnt given the same treatment. His dad is actually sick, Grimes' dad thinks he's Jordan. A big difference there.

Dam Devonte G - - -nice start my man • Oct 24, 2019 02:27 AM

Joel with a quiet 15 and 13 in a W for the 76ers. My early favorite for the finals are 76ers vs Clippers.

O' Chubby Ankles • Oct 22, 2019 11:49 PM

Glad we did the right thing in both releasing him and helping him get his waiver. Wasnt a fan of his while he was here but wish him the best.

Border War Renewed • Oct 22, 2019 01:08 AM

I love this, let's go smoke them!

Texas and the Clock • Oct 22, 2019 01:06 AM

@justanotherfan the refs definitely helped Texas on that last drive and they really shouldn't of had to with 2 timeouts. Between clear lolly gagging and I'd say have the clock not start on time on a couple of plays and once the ball was set on a first down gave them around 9 seconds. Which would've made it at least a 7 yard deeper kick. Now they probably win with their all American kicker but it disappointing because they gave Texas games in Lawrence in 04 and 12. The B12 needs Texas and OU good to make the most money.

@FarmerJayhawk yes, exactly. Beaty's numbers changed almost daily according to him. He was obviously full of shit multiple times.

@Texas-Hawk-10 the problem is, he could've improved it by selling out on high schools recruits. Yes it will take years to fix but if had any sense, we'd be half way there.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I dont believe we gained a single scholarship player under Beaty. We are still down around 25 guys and could only sign 15 this past cycle because of Jucos, transfers and grey shirts. Beaty did abouslutely nothing to improve this program.

@BShark I'll always love the fat man regardless of what people think.

@BShark I like him, look up Whiskey Myers my friend. You won't be disappointed.

@BShark His clock management and record in close games killed him there for sure. But this was a great game plan and we just didnt execute on special teams. We are still missing Prox on Defense and I honestly think that hurt against Sam. My disappointment was in the last defensive series not sending the house repeatedly. We had good blitzes all night, why give what is probably a top 5 QB in the nation all day to find guys only needing a FG?

@BShark it's hard to swallow for sure. We are literally about 5 plays from being 5-2. For some reason we haven't been able to finish games, really ever outside of the orange bowl year. We should've went 8-4 in 2006. I've been a following this program since 99-00 and I'll bet we have lost 35+ games by one possession or less. I'm trying not to get too excited about this OC but imagine what we could be next season with a full recruiting class and him working all offseason.

@BShark hard to argue that at this point. It's good for the league to have 3 potential top 15 teams. Texas probably drops a few spots after this one, I feel pretty lucky if I was on there side.

@FarmerJayhawk No I mean how about them being 7-0 dont think we should beat them but let's see what we can build off of this.

@Texas-Hawk-10 if we have a kicker and execute we win tonight and against Coastal.

@nwhawkfan haha jenxus

Ready for next Saturday already, odd saying that in football season. 2 home games vs Tech and KSU. Both are winnable. How about Baylor?

3 losses by a combined 12 points, we are getting closer folks. What a roller coaster that game was.

I can't believe they ran that final play before the kick. That was super ballsy and could've cost them a chance.

Just left too much time, I thought that as soon as it happened. Maybe the game of the year this far. Proud of this team.

Wow helluva game men, let's finish it!!

Damn it, that pat could be the difference. Amazing effort, its amazing what an OC with a brain can do. If had this from the start of the season we probably have 4 wins and be bowl bound. I hope to meet Koenning someday and beat the brakes off of him, what an idiot.

Chiefs! • Oct 20, 2019 12:47 AM

@nuleafjhawk I agree, him taking 5 weeks maybe good in the long run. His top 2 WRs have played just over a game together, the offensive line has had 2 guys out and the defense has had both linebackers and lineman out. Wait til after the bye and see if this team can get healthy, then you can make judgement. I think a 9-7 record wins the west this year and with only one game in the division in the next 4 as long as they dont go 0-4 with out him they could still be 3rd or 4th seed in the AFC. The Patriots schedule is so weak, I dont see them not being the number 1 seed.

Chiefs! • Oct 19, 2019 05:11 AM

I was really looking forward to a shootout with Green Bay. But I could that being a 45 to 10 game in favor of the packers now. I guess you can't fix stupid 🤷‍♂️

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 06:04 PM

4 to 6 weeks, unbelievably lucky. I'd go with Moore til the bye week in 4 weeks.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 05:51 PM

@BShark hi

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 03:20 AM

On a side note how the heck does John Elway still have a job? The Chiefs had 5 starters out, 2 defensive subs and Mahomes goes down early. They still get smoked at home. That's the most embarrassing loss in Denver history at home and overall outside of the Seahawks in the superbowl.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 03:18 AM

@BShark I agree but not Cam, I'd rather have RG3 or Bridgwater if Brees returns.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 03:17 AM

@nuleafjhawk been saying for 30 years.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 03:05 AM

@rockchalkwyo @Bshark why in gods name would anyone alive trade for cam newton. May as well sign Kaepernick, same type of player with the same circus.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 02:55 AM

@BShark ligaments are the issue IMO. I've had 2 teammates that had the same thing, one with a torn MCL and the other with a torn ACL. Google it, as I said a very very high percentage of dislocations tear something. If not Andy Reid may have saved himself being the least popular man in the midwest.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 02:10 AM

@BShark @Crimsonorblue22 he at the bare minimum dislocated his knee. 98% of the time you tear a ligament when you do that and sometimes you never get back your full capabilities with that knee.

Chiefs! • Oct 18, 2019 01:58 AM

Andy Reid should be fired tomorrow. His decision making the last 2 weeks have been laughable. Then tonight he decides to run a QB sneak with an already injured QB with a lead in the first half. There isnt a word harsh enough to cover just how insanely idiotic that is. This season is done for KC, Carter Stanley is better than Matt Moore. Chiefs fans better pray because Mahomes may never be the again after that injury. I've seen it too many times unfortunately.

Not sure about this ESPN plus thing • Oct 17, 2019 02:54 AM

It's all based off of ratings, nearly 65% of all sports viewership come from the east coast. Those teams will be on the ESPN family more. If you wanna to help. Don't watch anything but KU on the ESPN networks. That's all I do anymore.

Chiefs! • Oct 14, 2019 10:44 PM

The issue is on the offensive line are at least mostly injury related. The defense is an all around joke. Houston and Ford were better than Clark and Hitchens have been doing. Zero pass rush and no ability to cover. I still think they win the division but the Pat's, if the chiefs even make too them will spank the daylights outta them.

Chiefs! • Oct 14, 2019 10:38 PM

@jayballer73 I personally think there have been far to many weak penalties this season as a whole. Then they miss obvious PIs and dont overturn them. Complete waste of time to review something that they wont change.

Chiefs! • Oct 13, 2019 08:28 PM

Also the amount of penalties reflects on the lack of coaching and accountability. The same stuff that ran Reid outta Philadelphia.

Chiefs! • Oct 13, 2019 08:25 PM

The chiefs are wasting Mahomes' prime years with a piss poor offense line and a laughable defense. The fact that these guys are making millions and are that ungodly terrible is hard to grasp. The honey badger was a big waste of money. Dude can hit but couldn't cover a guy in a wheel chair.
