Ochai a little off today, good game for him to do so lol.

Kicking Players Off The Team Game Thread • Feb 16, 2019 09:33 PM

I would bet Vick ain't coming as well. Grimes, slow down buddy

@KUSTEVE 100% agree, It's crazy at this point Arizona and Stumpy are even playing right now If they have a recording of him discussing a 100k for Ayton. But until something happens to these Nike schools that have better recruiting than us 9 of 10 years, it will be nothing short of a setup for logical folks. No way Dook signs the 3 best players in this past class and didn't pay. If KU is paying for guys in the 40s thru the 100s most years then Dook, Arizona and UK's consistent top 10 classes are BS and paid for.

@HighEliteMajor Sad truth is that there is dirty money in virtually everything in this country from politics down to college athletics and several in between. What are the odds that Nike handed the FBI some cash and said these guys used to work for us and we think they're dirty, wanna take a look? Nike has a huge leg up at this point, they aint stupid, they're closing bank accounts and burning what evidence they have since this started. Nike knows its coming and what evidence they have on adidas. Coach K prob has 17 burner phones only texts at this point in code names. Really if Nike is never punished or looked into closely it will be obvious that they have bought someone very high up. Think about how only SMU got in trouble in the 80s, yet several other schools were paying and it was known. In risky business you better have some friends in high places.

Our League Weekend games • Feb 16, 2019 03:47 AM

The thing about ISU is I dont have to listen to there fans like KSUs lol.

Our League Weekend games • Feb 15, 2019 09:51 PM

@bcjayhawk No problem cheering against KSU for me, regardless of whom they play lol. Man the WV game that we flatout gave away is killer right now, still ticks me off when I think about it.

Our League Weekend games • Feb 15, 2019 08:48 PM

On the games themselves, ISU @ KSU is pretty much an elimination game for the Cyclones. If they drop that one, they have no shot at a title. OU @ TCU is game that I think knocks OU from the dance if lost. OSU @ Texas, easily a must win for Texas and their post season hopes. Baylor @ TT is another elimination game for the loser in terms of the conference race. Us at home against WV is a must win for our conference hopes.

Our League Weekend games • Feb 15, 2019 08:40 PM

ISU has to win for us to have any shot at winning the conference out right and really a whole lot of a chance of winning it at all. It is very interesting that right now most have 8 big 12 teams and I just don't see it. Oklahoma as you said shouldn't even be on the radar IMO and Texas is skating on thin ice, they have some good wins but some terrible losses, if they would've beaten KSU last week, I'd say they were in solid shape. OU has 3 wins in conference crazy that they are even on the bubble.

League Race • Feb 15, 2019 08:20 PM

Looking at the schedules, I'd be shocked if KSU didn't at least get a share. They really only have 3 losable games left. I also think that we have 3 games left that are going to be tough to win. If we are lucky we win out and get a share. KSU would basically have to have an epic collapse at this point to finish with 5 or 6 loses to not get a share. At this point it really doesn't matter because we prob get last years vacated anyway. Maybe we will be 3 or a 4 seed and can play an underdog role for once in march.

@user_RCJH You bring up a valid point about them not being staffed to do an investigation into all of these schools. I believe there was over 20 listed in some way. As I've always said they'll kill themselves if they ban several elite schools and the venues that hold 120,000 people off of shear greed to start with will be half full.

Its fairly simple at this point, the NCAA played us like a fiddle to gain more ammo on us. We should've just washed our hands with SDS like we did with Cliff and not released anything. Hate to abandon a player but he probably knew something

League Race • Feb 13, 2019 05:31 AM

@dylans that sounds about right. I'm shocked with the murders row they've had how good they've been, KU, @Baylor, @Texas and finish it with ISU Saturday. If they beat ISU the only realistic shots they have at a loss are us in AFH and on the road at TCU. I was really hoping they'd go 2-2 here. Our margin for error is zero at this point and that's a lot of pressure right now.

League Race • Feb 13, 2019 05:13 AM

@dylans it's like roles are reversed this year, usually squeak and co aren't good on the road but starting 3 seniors helps them a ton.

New 2019 Recruiting • Feb 13, 2019 05:02 AM

@BShark One could say he could really deal out "Hurt" on opponents.

Diarra Out For KSU • Feb 13, 2019 04:59 AM

I didnt watch any games, just saw scores. I wonder if they can review just if they are in the restricted area, if not I dont like the idea. A block/charge is always a judgement call, like a ball/strike call. I'm with Bilas, too much time us spent reviewing crap.

Other Games Tonight • Feb 13, 2019 04:55 AM

@mayjay that maybe above UKs "Kansas's schedule is softer than charmin" in stupidity.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 13, 2019 04:52 AM

@mayjay you best do lol

Diarra Out For KSU • Feb 13, 2019 04:48 AM

I thought I'd be somewhat happy with a UK and Dook loss but no UL screwed that up. The hell with this Tuesday.

Diarra Out For KSU • Feb 13, 2019 03:55 AM

Dang it Texas you had 1 job

Diarra Out For KSU • Feb 13, 2019 03:38 AM

@truehawk93 one of favorite movies lol.

Diarra Out For KSU • Feb 13, 2019 03:24 AM

KSU in good shape in Austin 😐, we still in must win and need help mode.

Kansas at TCU Gamechat • Feb 12, 2019 10:06 PM

@Crimsonorblue22 That's one thing I already love about Long. He seems to be way more involved with day to day activities and the student athletes in general. Nice for KJ to get some love.

wow - - Ochai - -check this out - -insane • Feb 12, 2019 09:48 PM

@jayballer73 This is one of the reason I'm glad we got Braun. Let's go after the top 2 guys in our area hard. He's one of the better freshman we have ever had, now I won't say I expect it outta Braun yet but I'd rather have local kids that could stay for years, that go hard than some of these OADs that half ass it.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 08:54 PM

I was ticked at the end of the game, I think most of us fans were like here we go again. Missed free throws, silly turnovers. We have just seen that movie far too many times. I don't think I was too bad on here lol except how pissed I was at Moores first half play. I never thought we was done because we still had almost 2 minutes and the ball down 4. Hopefully that gives us confidence in the next close game to just go ahead and make the free ones lol.

Uh Oh NCAA...NOT! • Feb 12, 2019 08:49 PM

They gave 10 times the coverage to Suimon (spelled wrong) after he was at Maryland, just mentioned it while he was at Duke.

Diarra Out For KSU • Feb 12, 2019 07:44 PM

I always hate to see guys go down regardless. I want to beat people while we are both at full strength tho this may help even the playing field with our injuries.

Agbaji/Next Year's Team • Feb 12, 2019 03:55 PM

@KUSTEVE It was before the game yesterday, I said he plays hard just not smart most of the time. Happy for him and hopefully he can build from it like Mitch has been the last few games.

Kansas at TCU Gamechat • Feb 12, 2019 05:13 AM

I was hoping you guys would have a gentleman's duel to settle who's chat to use, guess there's Saturday lol.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 05:11 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 A win like this with everything seeming against us coming in and late in the going is huge deal, big building block. The effort is really Key, we have looked good for much of 3 of the last 4. The only bad looking game was one where we got out hustled and didnt have the effort. Once again Effort is where it starts, play hard and good things happen my friends.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 05:08 AM

@BShark I would sit Garrett again to be safe.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 05:05 AM

@BShark I'm glad we only have 1 game in the next 12 days. Hopefully Garrett is back by then. I'd stay with this line up and let him come off the bench tho.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:57 AM

KJ was the man when he needed to be, he was huge against Tennessee as well. To me he's Jamari Traylor 2.0, always goes hard but doesn't always go smart. Hopefully he gets an ovation at AFH when he checks in he deserves it.

Agbaji/Next Year's Team • Feb 12, 2019 04:55 AM

Apparently from here on out I need to say how bad KJ is (has a big game afterwards). In all reality if we could have either him or Charlie, at least one show up from here on out, it would nice. Moore has ticked me the last two games and has really only had 2 good games.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:50 AM

Not sure I've ever said this before but Hook'em Horns tomorrow!

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:48 AM

@approxinfinity I am, his size isn't what they want at the next level unfortunately for him. I bet hes here 3 years, at least I hope.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:38 AM

One thing I loved about Dave was that Big rebound in OT. That was a Trob rebound, a man's rebound!!!

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:35 AM

@DanR That's all I'm getting at Dot was great outside of that. But that was also a key factor in the loss at ASU so I'd like to see him improve on that.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:31 AM

@BShark ehh 3 turnovers late man isn't a good stat nor is 6 total. He made up for in OT for sure. Most coaches would be wanting him to work on that.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:30 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 looking at the 0lay by play the last few minutes is turnover on Dotson and turnover on Lawson one right after the other.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:29 AM

@BShark either way was very costly, which is expected from a freshman but its gotta improve, hopefully it does.

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:25 AM

Hopefully this builds up Dotson, he was great outside of the last 2 minutes. 3 turnovers and basically 4 fts misses with both being 1 for 1s. A la la ASU

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:21 AM

Ya we won a road game!!!!

Walking wounded invades TCU • Feb 12, 2019 04:11 AM
