@Kcmatt7 it will be for sure. He claims he pushed her, she says punched and choked. Supposedly she had bruises but the pictures haven't been released to the public. I think he deserves another shot because he doesn't have a criminal record or any previous Problems. These cases are so hard to read because it's tough to prove or know exactly what happened.

I actually was just telling a friend yesterday we should use him, great minds think alike. In all reality we have gotten very little from KJ, Moore and even Lightfoot thus far.
I wonder if Doke will forsure return for next season now, also wonder if he could get a medical redshirt for all of the time he has missed. I think David has a higher ceiling than Doke does personally. I'm glad Doke is here but he's ineffective more than 5 feet from the hoop.
@HighEliteMajor I like that idea, you don’t have to play him a ton but he needs to be getting starts and a fair share of minutes. I don’t think I would be as worried most years but with the way we shoot 3 pointers, this is trouble forsure.
I honestly think a lot of the turnovers wouldn’t have happened had Doke been in. He helps slow down the pace of the game and lets face it a several passes to both Dedric and David would’ve been pulled in by Doke. But obviously with the news on him, we will have to adjust.
Wow, gosh I feel terrible for Doke. Feel like hes spent over half if his time here injured now. The streak is in serious jeopardy friends. Hopefully Big David can come around quickly and by an act of God himself SDS gets cleared.
Leadership and toughness are two things that need figured out with this team , preferably soon.
He’s had a rough stretch forsure but I don’t think he’s a cancer to the team. Dotson and him I believe have double digit turnovers combined the pasted two games, obviously Dotson being a freshman gives him a little bit of leeway. This teams has a decent ceiling with a healthy Doke and Grimes/Vick to their capabilities. We know what we are going to get outta every else. I still think if Doke is able to return and Self shortens the bench we will look much better. No reason at this point for Mitch, Charlie and KJ to be seeing more than garbage time. Mitch maybe debatable but David playing more and developing helps more than Mitch being out there IMO.
The loss really doesn’t mean a ton at this point, I’m fairly disappointed and have stated that several times lol but we know why we lost - poor shooting all around, turnovers and poor 3 point defense. All things that are able to be improved on, not to mention a far share of teams will lose in Hilton this year and on the road in general. I feel like the big 12 has the toughest venues as a whole to visit especially when you’re the top dog like we are.
Bout the only positive thing today was seeing Q be aggressive and make some plays. Other than that, every step in AFH should hit my these guys for being lazy.
@bskeet sadly if it was a Duke or UNC player the ruling would’ve been made months ago. Sometimes I hope the NCAA gets replaced at some point and isn’t so Biased, the ACC and SEC have been giving loop holes left and right year after year.

Dedric sucks so bad defensively if he ain’t putting up 20+ he ineffective. I’m claim Self was full sh** when he said no one on the team could guard him. The dude misses 5 bunnies a games, Vick is in mid season ghost form. This is the 2005 team to a T no ones having fun or smiling even when we are winning, we are due for a bad year and this is it folks.
Hopefully after we lose the big 12 this season Self can end his transfer project, it’s crap.

My god Vick smh, I’d bench Dedric and Vick they are hurting more than helping. Why we don’t even try to get on a shooter that’s 3 for 3 is just laziness. This team can’t score and can’t defend, ill b honest I think the streak ends this and it may get ugly.
We just need to settle down, the end of the first was shades of the end of the ASU game, had a 4 point lead and we just started getting stupid. We have to get Dedric going here or it could be a long evening. Q was great all around and I think Dotson was solid as well. Just need to continue to rebound and stop turning the ball over.

@wissox can’t be, DeDric, Vick and Moore all missed one to this point. Maybe we need to keep hitting them but definitely more than one miss.
I feel lucky we ain’t down 10 at this point, they are on Dedric tight, gonna have to start hitting 3s and moving the ball quick when the double comes.

This will be interesting to see how the game plays out, we’ve talked about how the conference is more defensive this year but if we were to get into a shootout I’d bet it being in one of the ISU games. And that could get dicey with our inconsistency on offense. ISU already has the best average points and fg% in the league with making the second most 3s. The thing that’s scary to me is I think they are better offensively than they’ve shown with the guys they’ve had out with
injuries. I think as odd as it seems being a KU fans and saying it, the game could be outta reach if we let up 80-85 points. When I look at most of our close games we gave up over 80 (MSU, Tennessee, Stanford and ASU) and we lost the only one on the road. I think we need to get a little smarter on the perimeter, Dedric can’t be shooting long 2s and 3s like he did for a stretch against OU, that’s just not his game (17% from distance on the year, worst on the team). Dotson needs to shoot more, he’s hitting 42% from 3 point land and Grimes needs to slow down his release as he did in the first half Wednesday. Vick just needs to get a few to go in, he’s in a mini slump (5 of last 23). I still get shocked about the amount of teams that don’t zone us, especially this year.
I don't think this team has scratched the surface of what they are capable of yet. I agree that this team doesn't seem to be have fun and smile. I feel like the guards must continue to improve for us to go anywhere in March, you don't see teams get far without superior guard play. The bench has to be more consistent IMO, people talk about how deep we are but we have really struggled to get any bench scoring going. I think Q has played better as of late and he could be the key to a deep run like Newman was last year, we need all guys on the floor busting butt and working as a unit. I'm not too worried at this point with any of this teams issues because we have plenty of time to figure them out, a month from now if we are fighting the same stuff, I'd be more worried.
@wrwlumpy I laughed when EJ made that last dunk that made ISU fans cry. In the book beyond the streak, EJ said he did it because the year before in a loss in Ames, a fan spit right in his face. I really wish he'd played better in the Michigan game. I hate thats my last image of him in a jayhawk uniform because he was so good those last 2 years.

The league has looks to have taken a swing towards ugly offense and strong defensive play. We scored the most points tonight with 70. I'm not sure if its really good D or just terrible O, maybe a bit of both.
He quickly becoming one of my favorites, Selby was a PG? Thought he was a SG? Tyshawn played the point when Selby was here but he may have been listed as a PG in high school so he could have the ball.

@Big-Clyde52 Its too early yet to put a ton a this game or any other for the next few weeks. I think you’ll see Self trim down this rotation to the normal 7 or 8.KJ and Moore will probably start playing very sparingly from here on out. Moore is like Greene used to be (maybe worse), if his shot isn’t falling he’s a liability out there and of no use in every other aspect of the game.
OU was ranked friends, they are missing Mcneace as well. I’m seeing them finishing 4th-6th in this conference and having a good shot to make the tournament. A good portion of why it was close is shooting. We shot 19% from 3 and 41% from the floor. Dedric was a huge part of that with finishing 6 for 17 and 0 for 3 from distance. Late he had 4 straight off balanced fade aways and missed some easy ones early. He had a strong finish to the first and a good stretch in the second but 13 points off of 17 shots isn’t effective enough. He now is shooting 4 for 23 from the outside this season, its border line a turnover at this point. Everyone wants to complain about Garrett, he’s 4 for 21 and has about 10 wide open ones a game if he wants to take them. I thought Garrett played a solid game, he took 3 shots, had 5 points and 5 assists while playing solid defense. Vick had a decent floor game, he just had too many crap passes and I’m sure that’s why Self had him out and Moore in late. But Moore couldn’t hit the free ones and can’t defend or rebound like Vick can, I’d say that probably doesn’t happen again unless Vick is fouled out.
@justanotherfan I honestly think they could be good situationally, the first half they were decent together but Dedric missed several bunnies. Doke looked tired and outta shape. Which is to be expected after missing time.
