Vick saves us once again, told everyone it was huge he was returning.

Floor Burns Game Thread • Dec 02, 2018 12:53 AM

Grimes would have to improve more than I've ever seen in season to go in the lottery.

Floor Burns Game Thread • Dec 02, 2018 12:30 AM

Missed fts and rebounds here are killer

Floor Burns Game Thread • Dec 01, 2018 11:22 PM

On paper this should be a minimum of a 20 point win. Lazy play same as early last season. Why are guys dont get fired up to play in sold out Allen is mind boggling.

Floor Burns Game Thread • Dec 01, 2018 11:20 PM

This team plays with little energy

Other Games Tonight • Dec 01, 2018 09:17 PM

Michigan destroying Purdue and Nova down to a winless team in the second. I was kinda hoping for the B12s sake KSU would go unbeaten in their weak non conference schedule.

Hunt POS • Dec 01, 2018 09:14 PM

@Hawk8086 I still find it chicken sh** , ether you stand up and hold folks to high standards or you sit down. Shouldn’t be a gray area IMO.

Hunt POS • Dec 01, 2018 04:22 PM

Rumors are flying around that Jamaal Charles maybe signed.

Hunt POS • Dec 01, 2018 02:52 AM

While I don’t agree with Hunts action or the young lady in the video that is just as guilty as he is. I would like for someone to explain to me why Tyrek Hill is on the Chiefs roster, Hill pleaded guilty to beating and strangling his pregnant GF. I also don’t believe Hunt acted as he should (don’t think using racial slurs is ok but its no excuse) but both appeared to escalate the situation and I’m not sure I’d even call that an assault but if he lied to the chiefs about it, it’s on him. There ain’t many professions where you can lie to your employer and get away with once found out. I guess the NFL doesn’t care if there isn’t a video of the offense, I’d bet a hefty amount if Hill was recorded in his assault it would look much much worse. Why isn’t the guy from SF suspended for his second offense of the same kind?

Making a Murderer • Nov 30, 2018 04:33 AM

My wife hasn’t been watching with me and she asked about it today because see seen something of it on Facebook. I think the most intriguing thing outside of the confession that looks bogus is the fact that they when on and on about how she was raped from the beginning in Stevens room. Wether you believe as I do that most the evidence was planted or not, there is zero evidence to support she was raped at all or even in Stevens home at all. It’s just crazy how they fabricated this story about how she died and was raped from the get go tho they have nothing to support it but rammed it as hard as they could to Brendan and the jury. It’s creepy to the point that I haven’t ruled out the police being involved in the crime. I think Wisconsin knows they are wrong once again and they don’t want it to go to court again because they know they’ll lose, the deliberations took 3 days the first time, with the new evidence I bet it take a few short hours for logical thinking folks to clear both Brendan and Steven. I bet most of the police and the prosecutor have watched this and are sweating bullets, I personally believe the Kranz (Prosecuter) should be in prison for the rest of his days, he lied multiple times and withheld evidence.

Lady Jayhawks Remain Undefeated • Nov 30, 2018 01:58 AM

@Gunman I watched it on ESPN 3, Hawks win!!!!

Making a Murderer • Nov 29, 2018 02:44 AM

@wissox I can see as to where in would be very intriguing for you guys. I’d watch the second part, it’s gets pretty crazy the last few episodes and they never really looked at Bobby Dassey as a suspect tho I’m fair confident he committed the crime.

Making a Murderer • Nov 28, 2018 06:02 AM

@Kcmatt7 I'd recommend watching season 2. The last 3 episodes will probably change your mind (just finished it). Bobby did it, not even a doubt in my mind. He had help maybe from brendan or his step dad, but he did it no question.

Stanford Cardinal -Saturday - 4:30 pm - ESPN • Nov 28, 2018 02:58 AM

This game should be beat down city. KU 85 Stanford 61. Hopefully Haase is given a fair amount of time in Palo Alto. He hasn't done much so far but has some good young guys.

Beaty FIRED • Nov 28, 2018 02:40 AM

@Texas-Hawk-10 That would probably be the case if he was hired as an OC, which is unlikely at this point. I bet he ends up at Texas as some sort of offensive assistant. He seems to have been a life long Texas fan.

Making a Murderer • Nov 28, 2018 02:32 AM

@Kcmatt7 I can see that if you believe they are guilty and Netflix is just whistling dixie. That could be very well what's going on, its gonna become of the strangest cases. I've seen a few odd ones on the first 48 but this takes the cake lol.

Beaty FIRED • Nov 27, 2018 10:49 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 If Herman hired Beaty for an OC, he would be the stupidest coach alive, unless he likes wasting 5 TOs a games because he can't get the play in or decide if he wants to punt from inside the opponents 40. Beaty was a decent WR coach and Recruiting coordinator but after what has been seen out of him running KUs offensive half the time he was here and his lone OC season at Rice, I'd call anyone a damn fool that wants him running their offense.

Making a Murderer • Nov 27, 2018 09:59 PM

@Kcmatt7 defiantly brings up some points for sure, but in Dassey’s confession he didn’t say anything that they didn’t give him the answer to already. The car battery deal is laughable, they hinted at it about 15 times before he spit it out. One thing is for sure, he flat out couldn’t have did the crime the way they say he did. If she was in his trailer and he cleaned so good there was no trace of her, he would’ve done the same in the garage. To me there are only a few scenarios that actually could’ve happen, He did it but was so smart about covering his tail they had to plant evidence (evidence was defiantly planted, I’d say the vast majority of it was by ether police or the murderer), He didn’t do it but someone in his family (Bobby) did or He flatout didn’t do it. The police did a terrible job, I’m not sure if you have watched part 2 (im on episode 7) that just came out last month but how they didn’t even try to find anyone else. They originally didn’t find anything in several spots they looked, then magically they found tons of evidence in the same spot 3 days later. They also never questioned her crazy ex, that basically stalked her for years, dude moved into her house within days of her murder. I agree that that Steven and Brandon don't seem like good people by any stretch but I'm not sure they are murderers at this point. That phone call should be taken with a grain of salt for what I've read psychology, if they kept pounding it in to his head that he did it in his mental state, it may have actually believed he did it even if he didn't at one point or another.

Oklahoma may not be done for CFB • Nov 27, 2018 02:47 PM

@HighEliteMajor Like I said earlier on this thread, the bowls make the networks and NCAA too much money to do away with or change a ton.

Making a Murderer • Nov 27, 2018 02:45 PM

@Kcmatt7 @Woodrow There are definitely some fishy things in the case and it obvious that at least some of the evidence was planted at this point. I talked to a guy I know that used to be a detective and he said investigators and crime lab did a terrible job. The biggest issue he had was with the burn site and barrels being looked over with no pictures the first time (he said there should have been dozens and dozens of pictures) and then returning 3 days later and finding some big stuff like bones, some of these bones were decent sized and seem hard to miss if they did the job correctly. The Dassey kids confession is nothing short of a complete joke at this point and I agree he seems to have some issues. Its the only reason he's in jail tho, if that gets thrown out there is no other evidence against him in the case. I'm not a 100% sure that they are completely innocent but I don't believe they did the crime. They may have had knowledge of somethings, its kinda hard to get a reading on some of family because they are all very odd ball. Also as KCMatt7 said we are basically getting one side of the story here.

Beaty FIRED • Nov 27, 2018 05:22 AM

So Beaty is now helping Texas preparations for Oklahoma in the B12 championship game. Apparently he was dealing with delays in getting to Austin with the current winter storm that rolled thru Kansas. What’s everyone’s opinion on this? I personally think it’s kinda a weird move by Herman. I mean all coaches trade game film and give pointers towards friends that have a common opponent but flying Beaty down to help seems laughable. I don’t blame Beaty for doing it, he very well could be auditioning for a job. It’s just seems odd that he gets fired and is helping the team that he just played against from the same conference, as bad as the play calling was in the first half, maybe he blew he the game to Texas lol.

Making a Murderer • Nov 27, 2018 05:08 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 Cool I was hoping some of our lawyers would comment on this. I don’t believe anyone is a defense or prosecution lawyer but it still would be interesting. I personally don’t like Connie Britton, I think she’s a bad actress (plays a similar role in most of her parts that I have seen) but she’s been in some decent shows.

Making a Murderer • Nov 27, 2018 04:22 AM

As I am enduring many sleep less nights as my daughter(foster but no different) is cutting teeth, sleep is turning into a unicorn for me lol. So I started watching Making a Murderer on Netflix. I’ve always like crime shows like the first 48 and such. I just wondered if anyone else had watched and what their thoughts were on the case. I personally believe both of the defendants innocent at this point. I find it fairly interesting and would recommend it to anyone.

WE'RE RANKED 11th • Nov 27, 2018 02:55 AM

Wow they finally found a system worse than BPI lol

UH-OH - Sounds like trouble in Aggieville • Nov 26, 2018 01:05 AM

@FarmerJayhawk It would be funny if Brown ended up at UNC, Ventables at TT and Leavitt at Louisville. Just because that would leave KSU scrabbling lol

2018-19 Coaching Carousel • Nov 26, 2018 01:01 AM

@Texas-Hawk-10 Yes, thanks for posting all of these buddy.

UH-OH - Sounds like trouble in Aggieville • Nov 25, 2018 11:09 PM

I'm not sure that Littrell would want the Tech job. I honestly believe he could do better. When the cowboys were struggling rumors were flying about Riley heading to Dallas and Littrell heading to Norman. I'd still fire Garrett if I was Dallas, it's taken the NFC easy falling apart and injuries to make them relevant again. The cowboys also have a very easy schedule compared to most.

UH-OH - Sounds like trouble in Aggieville • Nov 25, 2018 11:03 PM

So Kliff is out at TT and sounds like Synder is out at KSU. I've read some interesting things on both blogs today. Both schools seem to think Ventables is headed their way. TT athletics Director is a former roommate of Ventables at KSU. I've also heard that Ventables would never return to KSU because he hooked up with a high profile boosters daughter while he was there and it didn't end well. I'd be shocked if KSU spends the money on his buy out and the contract it would take to sign him (second highest paid assistant in CFB). I'd say Litrell to TT and Leavitt to KSU seems possible if Riley doesn't go to the NFL. But we how much of a hard ass Synder is, it wouldnt shock me if Sean is announced as HC either.

UH-OH - Sounds like trouble in Aggieville • Nov 25, 2018 07:39 PM

It kinda strange how close KSUs and KUs seasons are both teams had a defense good enough to win outside of a few games. KU isn’t far from having 7 wins and KSU isn’t far from having 9 wins. I’m sure blowing a 17 point lead in the final 12 minutes in Ames will leave a bad taste in the mouths of fans and booster of KSU. All while was Snyder failed to see how obvious it was that Thompson was a better option at QB, that itself probably cost them a few games.

UH-OH - Sounds like trouble in Aggieville • Nov 25, 2018 07:23 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 Right, so the question becomes did Synder retire on his own terms? Or is he agreeing to retire because they have agreed to let Sean Synder coach? Will Synder have a role in the athletic department again and run off the next coach as he did Prince (I don’t believe Prince was great but he won more games in each of his 3 seasons than Synder did in the previous 2 seasons and recruited several starters on the 2012 B12 title team)? Either way I think it could be huge for Les trying to flip guys, Leavitt is a good coach but doesn’t have the resume or flash of Miles.

Oklahoma may not be done for CFB • Nov 25, 2018 07:18 PM

ESPN has article debating between OU and OSU for whom deserves to go with a Georgia loss. They both have had close calls against inferior teams and they are nearly even in SOS on most sites. One big thing IMO is that OU has a chance to get revenge on their one loss, while playing a top 15 team. While OSU will be playing a lower rated Northwestern team that won a very weak B10 west disvison. OSU also has a bad loss to an unranked Purdue club compared to a top 15 team in Texas that OU lost to. I’m just not sure how they could leap frog OU without a loss at this point. Both had good wins this week against top 15 teams. But we all remember TCU dropping from #3 to #6 for OSU to get in, despite smoking ISU 55-3 to close out the season in 2014. At this point if the same thing happens I’ll start to think that OSU has an inside man and probably won’t ever watch the CFP again.

Oklahoma may not be done for CFB • Nov 25, 2018 06:59 PM

@HighEliteMajor I agree, why they don’t have at least a 8 team playoff is silly. Pretty much every level of football has it. I’d be fine if they shortened the season to 10 games and made a big bracket like FCS (24 teams in playoffs). The only reason it’s not that way is the money to be made of off bowl games. I read last year that even a lame duck bowl game on a Thursday makes millions.

UH-OH - Sounds like trouble in Aggieville • Nov 25, 2018 06:54 PM

I’m hearing that Head Coach Bill Snyder will announce his retirement within the next 48 hours. I think that’s huge if it happens, Les maybe able to flip some guys over to Hawks.

Next year is here! • Nov 25, 2018 05:24 PM

I love to go some year if it’s still around after my kids are atleast older or moved out. I have a 7 month old and 3year old lol.

Oklahoma may not be done for CFB • Nov 24, 2018 08:41 PM

Oklahoma won in Morgantown last night to punch their ticket to the B12 title game. Michigan is currently down 2 scores on the road to Ohio State mid way thru the 4th. Georgia were winners vs GT having already clinched a date with Bama for the SEC title. So if Bama beat Georgia and OU gets revenge on Texas, they should be in. Even if Ohio State wins today and the B10 title game, I’m not sure they can jump the 4 spots they are currently behind OU. I think they end up 6th and OU 5th Tuesday heading into champ week.

@bskeet Grimes could be a solid freshman but he's got to figure it out from an effort stand point. That's my main issue with him, we have some depth this so the choice is his. I've said for years I'd rather have a 3 or 4 star guy that goes hard than a 5 that stands.

@bskeet I've been saying all year so far that Dotson is better than Grimes. I've also said no way hes a OAD at this point. Looking at previous OAD guards hes not even close.

Hopefully these 2 games got Dedric going, he looked so much better. Not driving into 3 guys and getting swatted repeatedly.

14 straight regular season wins vs AP top 10 is pretty damn good.

Two battles in Brooklyn, we needed that. Good to see this early in the season. So what was with MG?

Wanted Grimes to know he doesn't hate him lol.

Grimes is getting a message here. We can beat #5 without MG and you playing very little in the second. Go hard or get out buddy.

KJ has had some silly fouls but has played his tail off and made winning plays

Dedric and kj both battling hard

Poor Tennessee dont like the tit tac on them

If made fts or didn't turn it over 15 times we probably won by 6 in regulation

Mitch had a layup and they missed him

Missed Vick wide open there

Acting job lol

Wow guys did we forget how to play defense. Wake up
