@Texas-Hawk-10 yes I’ve gotten GA before for South Dakota or that caliber team for $40 but ya any decent game they are high.
@wissox usually don’t see that at AFH I’ve paid $125 for GA before. Know people that were season ticket holders for 30 years that can’t afford it anymore. Now KU football usually is pretty reasonable to go. Just my two cents on the matter.
@wissox I only get to make it to a game once a year if I’m lucky. Even with living in central Kansas, most my issue is the cost of tickets for both pro and collegiate sporting events have near priced out common fans.
@wissox it was evident during the BYU game that about 15k people left around half time.
This is arguably the toughest schedule I’ve ever seen. The good thing is you can lose some of these early season games and it not have a huge effect. I’m not super concerned about Houston. They are going to have to face the B12 grind for the first time and I don’t think they are ready for its challenge. The American is a decent conference but no where near the competitiveness of this conference. Feel the same way about the new comers in FB by seasons end, they’ll be gassed. Used to having a handful of games that aren’t competitive and able to rest guys. That’s not going to happen much in this league.
@AsadZ Analyst have garbage takes most the time. The same analysts saying the chiefs weren’t making the playoffs last season and the broncos were going to roll. I’m a numbers guy and there are flat out zero statistics that suggest he’s even a top 20 QB in the nfl right now. He’s a good runner, that’s it.
@AsadZ I think he struggles mightily with accuracy and likely always will. I’d put him at tail back
No idea why Fields had some MVP talk in the offseason. His passer rating was trash last season and is this season.
I think they just ranked us so it looks better for Texas Saturday
@nuleafjhawk you and I are very similar
I thought I’d check Nevada to see if they could snap the nations longest losing streak. They blew a 17-0 halftime lead to Texas state lost 38-24.
I said we had to start 4-0 to get back to a bowl. Obviously we have done that so I like our chances. Iowa State all sudden found offense tonight but who knows if it’s in Ames to stay. I think UCF, OSU, ISU, Tech. KSU and Cincinnati are all games we can compete in after watching these first 4 weeks. I don’t think we will win all of those my official prediction was 6-6 with a ceiling of 8-4. I honestly think 7 is what will end up with at this point and I’m fine with that.
Baylor is a team I wished we played this season for sure. Scheduling is going to a huge factor not only this season but for years to come in this conference as in whom makes it to the title game. Imagine if we had schedule like BYU, Baylor, WVU, Houston, ISU, OSU, Tech, Cincinnati and KSU. I’d bet we wouldn’t lose more than 2 games and make it to Championship.
Ya Gundy is a ticking bomb at this point. That game for us would be a bad loss at this point. Humble Pie served to Colorado
Great job refocusing at the half and their QB was a lot more modest that half with less than 140 yards and 2 picks. Will be an up hill battle in Austin next week but I’m proud of this group, players, coaches and administrators. 4-0 back to back for the first time in a 107 years.
Just run it and take the 3 here
@wissox only 2 penalties so far this half, a vast improvement from the first half and last week. Let’s finish it.
@Crimsonorblue22 I’ve been saying since last season.
Just me or does BYU seem to do a lot of talking
Fear the Reaper in red zone folks.
BYUs defense looking gassed
Fear the reaper!
Lucky we didn’t get a roughing there but I’ll take it
We didn’t look like a well coached football team last week and haven’t so far today. Good news is we have a whole half to fix it.
That is far and away the best half of football their QB Slovis has played in his well travelled career. Hopefully the laws of averages catch up with him in the next half. They get the ball first a stop is a must if we want to win this game.
Looks like a ton of people are leaving already
Jalen doesn’t look good to me even that TD pass was well behind the target and was a great adjustment to catch it. We are fine if we stop with stupid undisciplined penalties
Ugh one bad pass kills a drive or a silly penalty. We are still not mentally sharp 4 games into the season.
Well the defense showed up for the second time
@wissox ya wins against Colorado State and Nebraska are laughable. Those teams ain’t going bowling. I still think Colorado only wins 2 more games
I think we are losing today folks
The offense better score everytime they touch it from here on out
Good start Defensively but very little resistance on that second drive. I think this may turn into a track meet real quick
This is a very intriguing match up IMO. One of these teams could very well be a contender in this conference and one is most definitely a pretender. BYU pulled a huge win last week in Fayetteville. But I’m not sold on their offense at this point Arkansas had nearly double the total yards last week but 2 costly turnovers sealed their fate. But I’m also not sold on KUs defense. Nevada judging off of both last season and early this season, lit up the score board by their standards. I do think the defense has a chance to be better than last season which averaged letting up 35.5 points per game which was good for dead last in the conference. We currently averaging letting up just over 21 ppg but the competition has not been good. I personally will be shocked if we let up less than 30 by seasons end. To me it’s question mark vs question mark when they have the football. When we have the football I believe we have the edge. I think JD and Neal will have big games once again to give us a solid chance couple that with playing at home. I’ll take the good guys 42- 34 as long as we clean up the penalties and jump on the ball when it’s in the carpet.
@dylans lmao I was hoping to some of this!
The Chiefs defense looked solid today bending and not breaking. Not sure if Kelce is dating Swift or not but his attitude is in the gutter. Good news for KC fans is the west looks like hot garbage and they should still take the division.
I got to throw some love to JD after sleeping on it last night dude looked off most of the first half and ended up finishing 21/27 for 298 yards. That’s pretty darn efficient and had a few guys stopped at one preventing TDs. Great game by Neal all around once again. I read a good article this morning but can’t find it. But it summed me up good by saying “Man coach LL has came along way in less than 3 years, we are disappointed in Kansas only winning a road game by a touchdown. This program holds the record for most consecutive road losses”.
@patoh3 honestly it would’ve been close as KU was 28 point favorites. Luckily I took the points in this one. We have came far with LL but I ain’t pick us to win a road by 30 points just yet lol.
Hopefully this is a wake up call, because it’s a blood bath with this effort next week. Good thing it’s a lesson in a victory. Good night folks
Get ready for OT
That was insanely stupid play calling
@wissox I would’ve done play action there, silly imo
Be a aggressive here
@DanR I’m not putting it on the refs but why was Jds fumble that was clear a pass not reversed but this which had zero evidence of whom touched it first overturned?
Wtf do we have to do to get a damn call this season? Must be a MWC crew smh
No way you can tell whom touched it first
I called that, finally
Can we finally get that TO 2 dropped picks and 4 fumbles they got back?
Offense has been solid this half baring the fumble that wasn’t anywhere else in America tonight
Would think the law averages would us to recover one of those
