We probably move up to #1 in the polls. Not that it matters. Anyway, BYU has a good chance at home against Gonzaga tonight.
YEAH DOKE
BIG EXHALE
No quick drives
No TOs for Baylor
This guy is not tournament ready
Hack-a-Doke time?

Ha, all those cheap shots and he misses his FT then Dot iced it! Yes!
Too soon

I don't want to ride only 7 guys through 6 games in March and April
Not to mention what to do when we're in foul trouble

What’s up with these awful camera angles
Also wondering about the lighting in that place. Like a cave compared to AFH.
Need more of that with the bigs in foul trouble

@nwhawkfan I'm always wondering how to spell those words!
I'm still debating whether to say Dok or Doke
Yowsah
So much for having momentum. Still, I'll take a halftime lead on the road against the #1 team anyday.
Well, we're just hours away from two heavyweights slugging it out for the title.
(Oh yeah, and there's some kind of boxing match going on too...)
Be thankful we don't have to pay $79.99 to watch it !
So no help from OU tonight. Looks like when it comes to beating Baylor, we need to heed the advice of James Brown, circa 1969:
"I don't want nobody
To give me nothin'
Open up the door (HUNH),
I'll get it myself "
On to Saturday.
As for rule changes, some of us are old enough to remember life before the 3-point shot. Take that away and you'd find a lot of guys having to learn how to hit 10-15 foot jumpers. That skill is virtually lost nowadays. Not necessarily advocating this, but you'd develop more pure shooters, not just long-range bombers. This could be done in conjunction with shortening the shot clock.
I'd keep the dunk if only for the showmanship. I always thought that the ban ('67 thru '76) was an anti-Alcindor rule after he used it with such devastating effect, much like when the NCAA widened the key due to Wilt's dominance.
'Til Saturday morning, guys...
Speaking of...
Okay, it was a typo. Teahan in at 2:03, not 2:30.
@FarmerJayhawk Or kayak

ISU down to 58% from 3
Legs getting tired
Nice to see somebody else making steals besides Garrett
Any guesses on the over/under for when Teahan comes in? I got 2:30.
Doesn't take much to "carry the Knicks." Like a kid's backpack.
High body count !
We usually get a visit from them every year or two. They tend to all blend together after a while.

Good W. Should rek ISU Monday then playing for diamonds next Saturday in Waco
WVA could do us a solid today with an upset
Aaahh...love that chant
Curtain call
Oh yeah, and MG can dish too...

Garrett MVP of the game.
Have a game young man !
Svi brought the 3 magic with him today. Contagious like the coronavirus.
We can all sit here and pick apart the weaknesses on this team, and they are legitimate. But I can't think of any other team that has so many weapons. The key is consistency.
Glass way more than half full.
THE MAN OF STEAL
Just like Jack Black & Kyle Gass...TENACIOUS D
WE GOT THIS
"Hi, I'm Bob Huggins. Has your still blown up? Try Panhandle Restoration."
@kjayhawks Looks like an outtake from Blazing Saddles.
Watching the return of Bobby Knight to Indiana. Lots of hugs and standing O's. All is forgiven on both sides?
He doesn't look too good. Has he been in ill health?
Couldn't stand him as a coach. (One of my favorite KU memories was when I came back to Lawrence for the holidays for the KU-IU game. Jacques Vaughn hit a buzzer-beater in overtime for the win.) Appreciated him as an analyst, though.
Oops, my fading brain cells almost forgot the 2005 Final Four in St. Louis...UNC over Illinois. Wasn't really rooting for either, but when some Illini fans started acting like jerks before the game I kinda leaned toward the Heels. "Act like you been there before !"
@Texas-Hawk-10 Ditto on the Final Four. An amazing atmosphere, even if you don't have a ticket.
I was fortunate enough to see two of them, though neither had the Jayhawks in it...1984 with Georgetown (w/Ewing) vs. Houston (Olajuwon & Phi Slama Jama), and 1995, when UCLA (Tyus Edney & the O'Bannons) beat defending champ Arkansas.
Always enjoyed watching the Friday practices too, which I believe are still open to the public. Got to see "Big Country" Reeves shatter a backboard with one of his dunks.
Of course I wish I could've been at the 1988 finals, but even seeing one in person as a neutral was well worth it.
@KirkIsMyHinrich Based on those numbers the conference doesn't look so bad.
Not surprised that the Big 10 is on top of the ratings. Am surprised that Pac 12 is even rated that high. Much like the Big XII, it's top-heavy, with a couple of teams that were supposed to contend (Washington & Oregon State) going into free fall.
Happy for coach Haase at Stanford and Tad Boyle at Colorado, though. Always nice to see old Jayhawks do well..just not against us.
All of a sudden, Clippers vs. Warriors has become an even more interesting matchup (especially next season when Golden State is at full strength).
Watching the parade and rally live on ESPN2.
I remember seeing the last one in person, standing near 10th & Main as the motorcade passed by. Great memory, great feeling.
BTW, Stonestreet on Kimmel tonight, as the Chiefs celebration continues
