OKLAHOMA/SENIOR NIGHT PREDICTIONS • Feb 27, 2017 02:40 PM

It's going to be very interesting to see if our shooting woes continue or if we get back to shooting the ball well. The distraction of senior night may improve player motivation or detract. I think the guys will play well and that Frank and Landen will play great. Josh too. RCJH

Landen Lucas Injury • Feb 27, 2017 11:41 AM

Landen is a stud. Josh is going to find him with passes, so Lando needs to be ready. Tonight's speech will be epic.

2017 - #1 and the streak ends! • Feb 26, 2017 02:37 PM

With the AP 1, Gonzaga, 2, Villanova, and 4 Arizona all losing this week, it sure seems KU will be No. 1 on Monday. Only UCLA at 5 should challenge KU, since it beat Arizona. For me, it's just a lot of fun to be number 1, even if it's for a short time. All the KU haters can just sit and spin. Not many D1 programs get that No. 1 ranking and some never get there. @brooksmd It's true that our flow was out of sync for much of the game, so other posters who saw that as a negative are correct. Like you, I see a road win and a solo league championship. RCJH

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 01:19 AM

OK, I don't know how many minutes he played, but Svi has played himself out of the starting line up. 0/5 shooting and 2 pts.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 01:12 AM

It's fun to see Coleby get to be interviewed in the post-game show.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 01:00 AM

21 Bench points tonight. I love it. These guys are ready for the tournament

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:55 AM

@HawkChamp Oh, I'll just say the score and the impending W

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:54 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 16

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:51 AM

@BShark Oh, we good.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:50 AM

Big 12 Champions-outright!!!!!!!!!

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:42 AM

It's too bad Jared Allen chose the wrong school. He's quite a force.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:40 AM

@BShark I love those guys, but I never can sync the two broadcasts.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:39 AM

@BShark He's 2/2 tonight on FT's

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:38 AM

Has Bragg even played in the second half?

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:36 AM

Texas is shooting 49%, but has 13 TO's

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:34 AM

We're gonna really miss Josh next year. The man just does it all. His defense has been really active tonight.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:33 AM

Frank is 0/3 from 3.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:27 AM

Lucas has 6 pts. off 3/3 shooting and only has 2 TO's.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:25 AM

When is Svi going to get going: 0/5 2pts off FTs

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:11 AM

Dok has some good hands. Good lord, Landen can't hold onto the ball

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:08 AM

Can't we get more than 10 people commenting here. Where are the rest of our friends?

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:06 AM

As a team, we were 3/10 from 3.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:06 AM

Frank's got to get going in the second half. He was 2/6. He needs to shoot more.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:01 AM

@jessejayhawk I agree. The Cheech and Chong act stopped being funny when I got out of college

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 26, 2017 12:00 AM

I have to say the bench contributions recently bode well for the tourney. It takes someone playing well off the bench to steal a win or two. Bragg last game, now Coleby

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:58 PM

@KUSTEVE He had two fouls, so playing time was limited

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:57 PM

@jessejayhawk It's the Bill Walton Comedy Hour.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:56 PM

@HawkChamp Landen must shoot more. He should be shooting no less than 10 shots/dunks per game.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:52 PM

Who would have predicted: Coleby leading scorer at the half with 10

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:43 PM

Walton is just a freak sideshow.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:41 PM

Way too much Walton. ESPM please

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:36 PM

Coleby looks big amongst the trees

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:35 PM

Too much Walton and the other guy. It's really about the game ESPN

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:15 PM

Let's all remember we had a good start in Lawrence, then Texas came back and made it close.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:12 PM

Josh is on fire. He needs to shoot and not pass.

Tejas Game Thread • Feb 25, 2017 11:11 PM

Great start. Plenty of ball handling problems for Texas.

Non-KU games • Feb 25, 2017 10:53 PM

Good, no OT in Ames to delay seeing our game. RCJH

I'm still bothered by the way Lawrence law enforcement handled Devonte's failure to appear on the traffic charge. If I was Coach Self, I would set a meeting with the Lawrence PD, who presumably executed the traffic warrant. All the warrant office had to do was contact someone on the coaching staff or athletic department if Devonte wasn't responding to direct efforts to get him to court. This isn't giving him special treatment; it's the best way to utilize the city's resources. I've dealt with several different warrant offices, all of whom worked with me to surrender a client to the court for the most routine type of traffic hearing instead of wasting an officer's time to arrest and book someone on one of the most minor offenses that may be charged. Lawrence PD's actions right after the TCU game smack of grandstanding and were completely unnecessary. If Devonte was my player or my client or my son, I'd have a load of verbal buckshot ready for the supervisor of the warrant office. And probably his superior too.

Burnt Orange Predictions • Feb 25, 2017 02:10 PM

Curious game to see how the guys will respond after yet another week of distractions. I was surprised by the trophy ceremony after the TCU game and worry it will take some of the motivation out of today's play. Our defense is doing better at preventing the career scoring days we were enduring earlier in the year. Jared Allen will be in top form today, so it'll be interesting to see how we defend him. With Villanova's loss on Wednesday, our tournament one seed is more secure. It's time for Josh and even Frank to amp up their games since they only have a few college games left.

Graham arrested for expired tag ticket • Feb 23, 2017 04:14 PM

Could we please put "for traffic offense" in the title, so our fans don't panic. It's been a difficult off-court year for some of our players. Minor traffic matters really don't need any attention here or anywhere else.

@BShark Thanks for the post Shark. You the Jayhawk fan.

KU vs the Purps • Feb 23, 2017 02:32 AM

Josh Jackson messing with us in the post-game interview saying he might "possibly" come back next year for a run at championship number 14.

KU vs the Purps • Feb 23, 2017 02:15 AM

A really big difference for Brodziansky: only 8 pts and 2 rebs. But 4 blks.

KU vs the Purps • Feb 23, 2017 02:12 AM

Is everyone watching the post-game show? I'm anxious to see the Rush ceremony.

KU vs the Purps • Feb 23, 2017 01:40 AM

Vick finally off the snide, whatever that means
