Rothstein tweeted out the schedule for today and it showed KU game at 4. Everywhere else is saying 6 including KUathletics. Just highlights the confusion of this weird event.
@kjayhawks Selective memory! We actually played them in Hawaii I think in the Maui two seasons ago. It says Honolulu, but I think that was after the fires. We beat them by nine. The two previous meetings were ugly, but we're 5-3 in the series this century. That's a lot of meetings for a team that's not in our conference but we can expect another tough one today and wouldn't be surprised to see us lose nor would I be surprised to see us win.
@DCHawker Michigan St is looking better than in recent years so far. I'm not convinced Purdue is the best team in the country like they've been ranked so far. Maybe it's memory of March failures past in which I'm still judging them. They have some really good wins including destroying Tech. Illinois is stout but not win it all stout.

Yesterday ND was like 4-25 on 3's against us. Today orange is 4-19.
I'm getting a bit pissed at these refs. They committed 3 fouls to burn fouls at the end of the half. Take those away and it's only 6 on them all game.
How about calling it a foul on syracuse instead.

This tournament is getting ripped on social media. It's essentially killed Maui and the Bahamas thing. And while Vegas does have some good matchups the gyms are woefully uncrowded. In addition the tournament format is confusing, apparently point differential is a thing? A point differential in Vegas? Hmmm. Sounds like a kid or coach could be on the receiving end of some money....or death threats for helping or messing up someones bet.
@approxinfinity He played at LaLumiere right down the road from South Bend. I really should get over there and watch a game, but they charge like college prices to get in so i'll skip.
@BShark We drove over to South Bend recently and walked around campus. Beautiful place, but their athletic arrogance is 2nd to none, and really hasn't been earned in the last 30 years or so.

Oh, and I should register my protest of playing a college game on a court that has the word bet on it. Gambling is eroding the integrity of sports and I hate to see it tempting 18 year olds who have bucketloads of money and presumably some free time during their time in Vegas.
