I think I've read corner threes are more accurate overall than any other spot on the floor.
@rcjhdraft The problem with live chatting and listening to radio while watching TV is I hardly ever know what's going on because I have too much going on, so I really didn't see the foul or why the T was called. Radio did say it was a pretty thin skinned referee tech.
Radio says T was on KU bench.

At the beginning of the game we kind of expected ugly don't forget. Very shallow team today, hopped out to a nice start, which gave us hope, but it's limp into halftime right now and hope to come out strong in the 2nd half.
I scored 2 points in a college game once, I might be able to contribute but I'm kind of far away.

Good Kentucky lost, another chance to gain a game on them in the most wins race.

Haha, ESPN says our game is on ESPNews so I turn there and it's James Madison and Akron, which is there because ESPN2 is running over. So essentially ESPN thinks that game is bigger than our game. They might be right!

Cool story! We went to KU together too! 88 was my senior year, turning 60 in a couple of months.
I met Sherron’s HS coach in Chicago once kind of the same way. Met the guy who made the 30 for 30 on the rules of basketball when he saw me at an LSU game. Super cool dude.
@rcjhdraft Was excited to see an increasing role as last season wore on even garnering some starts, but lately Och' lines were pretty sparse. Hopefully he and Grady can get some run north of the border.
Not worth a new thread but while watching the Bulls game just now they had a list of the highest scoring pros who are sons of former Bulls. Wiggins tops the list and Danny Manning is 2nd on the list. Two Jayhawks, sons of former Bulls did or doing well.
Never once in my complaining did I say the refs cost us the game. Calls were made as RockkChalkk pointed out that snowballed eliminating chances to affect a different outcome. Of course, we played like crap. Fatigue? Sure, maybe so. I don't understand what it takes physically to play an NCAA basketball game. I do know that when I was in college I worked as a bricklayer laborer in the summers and would go home after an exhausting hot sweaty day and go to the park for an hour or two for basketball games. Way different but I think sometimes we overuse the fatigue excuse. Remember Wilt played an NBA season in which he averaged 48.5 minutes played per game.
Saw that the other day and was shocked.
Now both of my teams suck.
@nuleafjhawk I know we shouldn't, but when we have a chance to tie the game and they miss a lane violation how can you not say that wasn't a big call? As bad as we played, we still have not benefitted in these losses from a fair whistle. They go together in my mind.

I get mad every time I think about it too. The dude threw the ball by himself out of bounds. Zebras somehow didn't see it. The dude stepped in the lane before Kevin missed his FT. He at least had a chance to make good.
WVU. Refs call a clean steal a foul. Would've loved to have seen how that game turns out. No guarantee we win that one, but bad call almost assuredly takes away what would have been a tie.
ISU. Refs miss a travel and ISU makes a "dagger 3" as ESPN shouts. Well there's maybe no dagger three, instead there's KU with the ball and a chance to tie or even win at the buzzer.
3 losses in a row where strange bad calls all worked against us. Does that mean we're still only smarting over a loss somehow to Central Florida? Probably not. Other things would have needed to happen for us to win all three of those but we'll never know because the refs didn't give us that chance in those situations.
