Someone must really like Kavanaugh though because he could be exchanged for an identical monster in seconds.
Not true. Multiple people have come forward with similar testimony about Kavanaugh. The FBI just doesn't want or get to hear from most of them because they have been kneecapped by the POTUS/white house.
I would be just as against such an extreme Democrat with a similar history becoming a SCOTUS, to be clear.
Edit: And I am aware how it really works. Only biased and partisan af people become SCOTUS. A sad reality.
Something to remember it that this isn't a legal trial, it's about Kavanaugh becoming a SCOTUS. It's not the same standard. And the more that I, and most rational people see of Kavanaugh, he is not fit for that position.
I don't claim any party affiliation and share views with Democratic and Republican policies. Kavanaugh is absolutely a Republican attack dog. He is simply, again, not fit to be SCOTUS.
Caveats
Not sure what is going on with his legal situation, last I knew the woman that accused him never filed her suit. Obviously this has to be sorted before he could be hired.
He probably says no, but you call anyway.
That said, he's a great option that I haven't seen kicked around yet. He's not perfect obviously but KU isn't going to get a top shelf coach. You either have to go established with some baggage or young and risk the coach not being very good.
D1 Coaching career
Took West Virginia to national prominence.
Bit off a bit more than he could chew at Michigan. Rebuilt the roster after Carr retired and Brady Hoke went 11-2 with RR's players before flaming out.
Turned around Arizona from the stink of Mike Stoops. Arizona is a similar football job to Kansas. Better location and slightly better natural talent base but not by much. Had more actively good programs than the Big 12 does when he was succeeding there. Last few years there were mostly average but competing with very good programs in Washington, Stanford, USC etc...
Exhibit A for coaching ability: Khalil Tate playing for RR vs playing for Kevin Sumlin.
@approxinfinity I edited out the swear just now actually. It was definitely not needed.

@DoubleDD no, I don't know that. I do know Trump is banking on that happening. Says he doesn't need a backup plan for Kavanaugh. Meanwhile shutting Swednick out of the investigation, which is absurd. Let the FBI determine whether Swednick is credible. Not for Trump to say.
Trump is trying to stomp out the investigation to get this goon in for the GOP.

Yea if you can't have a civil take on the topic maybe you should just not post?
I think your post is a little over the edge and uncalled for.
Nope. He's a scumbag. No sympathy. Sitting back is how the enemy wins.
What about the fact that he was showing obvious pathological lying tendancies on his crazy person rant in front of congress? When you lie and get upset about smaller things, that's a bad sign too. Could you imagine if it was a woman being that emotional, it's literally ALL people would talk about to say she was wrong.
Also, VICTIM TESTIMONY IS EVIDENCE. THERE ISN'T ZERO EVIDENCE.

Oh no, a rapist scumbag might have his life ruined because this woman had the courage to come out about it now.. I'm tearing up.
@Kcmatt7 It's actually the only game I bet this week. BGSU has one win against an FCS school and has been murdered on the ground every week.
Rushing yards given up by game
Oregon 212
Maryland 444
Eastern Kentucky (their one win, by 7 pts) 389
Miami Ohio (BGSU is currently their only win) 289

Alright, I hit on 2 of those 3 picks for the early games. (I myself didn't bet on the Memphis - Tulane game, as I said I figured they were the most likely to cover.)
So here we go today:
- Oregon v Cal O/U: 59 - Over
- TAMU -20.5
- Michigan - 11.5
- Coastal Carolina v Troy O/U 54 - Over
- Florida +241
- Okie State - 18.5
- North Texas - 6.5
- Toledo v Fresno St. O/U 60 - Over
- Tennessee v Georgia O/U 49 - Over
- Clemson -21
- Louisville +195
- Indiana -18
- UCF -14
- Cincy v UConn O/U 56 - Over
Missed a fair bit here, though I would have agreed with you on many of them before the game.
Surprised you wouldn't have Georgia Tech covering against a rancid Bowling Green team.

@BShark The Thing about Carter , he is at least has a little mobile. - -Myself personally , I've always liked Carter - much more in fact then Bender Bender is like he has concrete blocks around his feet . - - - At least Stanley can give you a little of both - -The 2nd half was better then the 1st yet our defense is just sad. - - ROCK CHALK ALLD AY LONG BABY

Positive from today, we have a QB folks.
Yeah, hopefully he starts going forward.

Indiana working Rutgers now

Best case scenario is KJ is the real deal and starts over Vick. Vick coming off the bench would really let you know just how deep we are.
Yeah I think super 6th man is more likely, where he gets just about starter type minutes. When it looked like Doke could leave I thought a starting line-up with the Lawsons at the 4-5 sounded very appealing.
@KirkIsMyHinrich Hard to take too much from this tbh. Both Lawsons are very good though. Lots of people sleeping on KJ.

Our Oline still looks like complete shit
I mean, it is. There is no P5 talent on it.
@kjayhawks Definitely won't: http://www.espn.com/college-football/game?gameId=401012292 β
Good thing we have ONE OF THE GREATEST DEFENSIVE MINDS IN THE GAME coaching up this defense.
Wow this defense is baaaaaaaaaaaad
OSU doesn't even need to throw the ball.
Could have stopped Hill for a loss but instead he goes for like 13 yards. Yeppp.
@Kcmatt7 Oh definitely. KU doesn't belong on the same field as OSU.
Gundy had to go for it on 4th down against lowly KU. Sad.

Indiana struggling early. Clemson struggling early as well
Rutgers leading Indiana is hilarious.
@Kcmatt7 Dantonio to me is just about the football version of Bruce Weber. Good coach, but never going to win a title and best when undervalued. Both are very consistent in fielding average teams.

WVU may have a real shot at the playoffs
Only real threat to OU in the league.
@Kcmatt7 They are alarmingly bad.
Michigan State struggling against CMU so far...
@Kcmatt7 Correct. Ruled out.
Yes
@kjayhawks yeah, it's hard to watch, looking forward to the exhibition on Oct 25th.
@dylans there was a nice two man sequence with Grimes and Dedric passing back and forth that ended in a lay-up.
If Bill wanted them running sets that's what they'd be doing. It's just a show.

Be hard to keep everybody happy. That's what worries me.
Yep. Can't play 12 guys. And unlike a lot of schools the 11th and 12th guys are 4* recruits.

I thought ochi(sp) looked good
Ochai Agbaji.
Yeah he's good. Team is too deep this year for him to get many minutes but he should be a real factor as early as next season.
Self was great doing commentary. Very funny, sees the game well.
@Crimsonorblue22 Grimes, Doke and Vick got the loudest ovations.
@Crimsonorblue22 Scrubbed out at Alabama State. All rappers think they can ball and all ballers think they can rap. :joy:
I see 2Chainz going that long as a positive. People were really into it.

Are you guys 90?
Heard 2Chainz killed it, but we didn't get to see that, we got filler content.
@KUSTEVE Same crap every year lol

@FarmerJayhawk It's different going against grown ass men who have been hitting the weights for 2-3 years though. Neither are built like gladiators (De Sousa) and Bill hasn't exactly been the best with frosh bigs... I'm just voicing concerns. Odds are both will be capable rebounders and it won't be an issue.
Playing time is an issue as well. I'm sure they are being sold on both starting, but McCormack is really good and there is a dream scenario where Silvio is back.
If the staff pulls it off, I'll be impressed.

@FarmerJayhawk Yeah I just assumed with the Lawson connection that it's like KU vs Memphis for the most part. Then I had Thompson there because his dad played for Self. There is a chance KU doesn't really prioritize either of course.
Hopefully JRE commits and doesn't even bother taking his Arizona visit.
Zeke waiting would be nice. Seeming more and more like Hurt is going to be a later decision as well.
