The big issue for them is he was their best shooting guard, by a lot. Diallo and Green are close to non-shooters. Also it's 3 guys for 120 minutes! I mean, in reality they are going to just have to play large or play a walk-on.

And yes Texas just took another committment in this class. Brings them to 14 scholarship players even with Bamba and Jones presumably going pro after this season. That's already one over the limit.

It wasn't just that incident either. It had been building up. However I later learned something that if I would have known, I would have just let it go. I hope he comes back too, it was never my intention to run him off.

I use Kenpom a ton so its not a criticism to the system.
SDS won 22 games last year, returns one of the leading scorer's in the country as well as its 2nd leading scorer as well.
Daum plays a position we struggle to defend and will be playing against a Freshman, a seldom used Soph, or a Soph who played 11 games last season.
I don't think we lose but this game will be close and a better game then it looks for this team going forward. The fact KU has to travel for a neutral game against Kentucky then fly back and play 2 days later is the cause for concern. How do you motivate them to be up for the Jackrabbits after slapping the Wildcats around.
Not a ton, but still.
I don't think it will be a blowout either for the reasons already mentioned. If KU loses to Kentucky otoh they are going to want to get that taste out of their mouth quickly.
