If all of this happens, wow, but not unexpected.

KU will need three starters from the portal (PG or SG, SF, PF), at least one more guard, two additional Bigs (backup 4 and 5).

Big off-season's for Jackson and Passmore awaits as you need both to be ready to be counted on. Elmarko got a glimpse of that at least his freshman year. Jamari is another you need to at least be serviceable as your potential 4th/5th guard.

Tiller's setback is significant as far as being a rotation guy year 1. He's missed a year of ball at this point so need to be cautious here. Expectations are low for Calderon from those that have watched him.

I think we need to recognize this could be a potential rebuild year unless you hit on just about everything in the portal to complement Peterson/Flory. Do you go with veterans, or do you go with young talent that can be developed. I don't know the right answer but perhaps better to lean heavily in one area (young) and perhaps get 1 or 2 veterans to fill the gaps you really need to have proven talent at.

FYI, Swain on 247 says it's very likely both Storr and Coit enter the transfer portal. Clemence is not expected back either.

Also reporting the buzz is Griffen will also enter but has a source saying that's not 100% done yet. Tracks with all the talk on him for the past month or so.

KU will likely have 6 spots open.

Ole friend Joson Sanon in from Arizona St. Would be pricey but someone with a lot of potential to become an NBA guy. Interested to see if we push here

Perhaps a 4 man to pursue, Notre Dame transfer Tae Davis.

As of now its highly expected Storr will not return. Griffen is also a candidate to move on but nothing definite

Diggy might not return, we shall see. Rumor is he wants guarantees and perhaps a pay raise. I don't think either of those things are going to happen here if true

Harris and Adams pulled the heart strings with their stories. They collectively gave 10 years to the program and won a national championship so I Will always remember them fondly for all of that.

The last two years were not a lot of fun to be honest. Usually I'm begging to have more games with Srs but not this group unfortunately. It's a weird feeling but it is what it is. The next chapter is scary and uncertain but it's time to embrace it

Noah Williamson from Bucknell, 7 footer averaged 17 and 7 and was patriot league poy. Made 52's 3s the last two years so some range to go with size

I haven't seen his film and my only data point is today's game. He was good today and statistically made a jump from year 1 to 2. I'm not sure what our plan is for the backcourt, if they plan to get another scorer next to Peterson or look for a backup type. He wouldn't be the former

KU has been in contact with Drexel transfer Kobe Magee, who was 43% from 3 on a lot of attempts. Talented shooter with good size 6'6

Look at all the PER'S of guys who came here last year and it didn't matter how good they were they all regressed. Just saying it's a localish kid that's got 2 more years and had a big game in a tournament win.

We should look at Colorado St's Kyan Evans (if he entered). kcmo kid having a giant game against Memphis right now. Soph has good stats and shooting splits
