Yep Wiggs is good for 4-5 big games a year. He's consistent in that regard
Gonzaga & Purdue are horrible matchups for KU. They both have multiple bigs that can abuse Dave.
That's pretty much what they like to do. I don't expect us to like this game
Literally a 100 other examples to choose from. Did Pat Forde right this?
Very true. Was trying to get a sense on this game, NT likes to slow it down. Looks like their best players are all vets. Should be a quality opening game
So they are giving up only 51 ppg so far. Jeesh this could be a really ugly game
Just one of Dave's quirks. Hopefully he settles in as the season goes on like he did last year.

Good game to get freshman minutes. P was really good last night for the most part. His change of direction speed is filthy
Bobby if he is already not - - the kid is going to be an absolute stud. - might be me but to me he sure doesn't look like a freshman mercy , pretty well built too/solid - seems mature on the flor have I mentioned how much I lie this kid lol
Oh yeah he's a favorite of mine already. Bought his shirt last night. Self says he's not just gonna be good he's going to be great
KU now #2 per Kenpom, #4 O, #7D with a 27.48 rating overall
I've been super high on Clemence since we signed him but man he's exceeded expectations. I know all the talk is about him getting stronger, he will, he's a baby faced freshman out there. But the skill level on this kid is legit already. He more then held his own last night against smaller players on defense and he has a knack for the ball. Obviously the waters get deeper as the season goes on but just from what we've seen it would be Criminal not to play this kid.

Ochai is averaging .78 pts per minute played. Unsustainable but what a crazy good start to his season. He has 79 pts in 101 minutes so far
You know you are playing well when the company is Wilt and Danny.
He's certainly playing at a level that very few reach in a KU uni so far. It looks legit and sustainable. He should be a 20pt guy the way he's going. The improvement he's made with the ball and his confidence/aggressiveness is so much fun to watch.
Cool new feature with the NIL.
Just bought the Bobby P!
Just literally burn this organization to the ground

I'm OK if agbaji shoots 25 shots a game change my mind

Jalen is still suspended for today's game. Next week he can play
Really ? I thought it was a 3 game suspension - -the exhibition and then the 2 season games - -OH WEll
Exhibition + 3 games. No biggy.

Agree Vital & Mitchell were elite level defenders. They had 21 steals last night but they played what looked like one of the worst teams in D-1. So far I see little drop-off from their defense but I do think that changes when they play real teams.
Spread is sitting around 26. KU should win by a lot more

@BeddieKU23 I've been on this train for a while. I don't think they'll be as good as last season because I don't think any of their guards is close to being as good as Davion Mitchell, but their team is still really good. Akinjo, Flagler, Brown, Mayer, Thamba starting with Cryer, Dainja, Sochan, and JTT off the bench.
It's early of course and they have played 3 sisters of the poor but the things that stuck out to me
-
no drop off in guard play so far after losing 3 studs
-
defense is just as aggressive & effective as it was last season
-
easy to see winning culture and chemistry exists even with new guys in the lineup
I agree they are not as good as last year but the drop off so far is minimal. The season ending injury to Langston Love limits their ceiling a bit I think. He was a big time scorer in HS. However Brown & Sochan are NBA guys & the emergence of LJ Cryer has raised their potential a good bit. They look like a E8/F4 contender. I don't think they can win it all.

Few observations watching Baylor last night.
They may not fall off at all this season. They have 3 guards (Akinjo, Flagler, Cryer) that so far are mimicking what Butler/Mitchell/Flagler did last year.
LJ Cryer has really improved. Back to back 20 point games.
Jeremy Sochan a 6'9 freshman forward is a stud. Kendall Brown is as advertised. Hate seeing him in a Baylor Jersey.
Their defense is really good again.
They haven't played anyone yet. Central Arkansas looked like a D3 school.
What is Meyer looking l.ike ?- -is he starting now ? Looks like it might be a real dog fight between KU , Baylor , & Texas
Yeah he's starting. One of their leaders and scoring options. Terrible hair still with that mullet going on.
Starting 5 so far has been Flagler/Akinjo/Meyer in the backcourt. Using Brown at the 4 & Thamba inside. Cryer, Sochan & ChimyChanga are the main 3 subs. They use another guard Bonner (Juco kid) due to the Langston Love injury.

Isaacs back to Texas Tech. Weird one
Certainly an intriguing option. Definitely has more size the Harris/Pettiford/Yesufu so I can see the need
